Very rude staff. The waiter couldn’t be more unenthusiastic when seating us, and when we sat down he left without giving us a drinks menu even though we had said we were having drinks. We then asked for a menu and he looked annoyed that he had to go get one for us. The staff were chatting behind the bar clearly not being professional and the atmosphere was very negative. Sangria and view was good but we will not be going again.

Not terrible, but not good. Menu choices we're OK, something for everyone, but average service at best, and food wasn't good. Sea view is lovely and ice cream section is good

Super mooi uitzicht hier. Veel plek om rustig te kunnen zitten. Leuke muziek. Heerlijk gegrilde sardientjes hier te vinden. Een aanrader. Personeel is snel en behulpzaam.

Frühstück leider lieblos angerichtet. Kein Salatblatt oder eine Tomatenscheibe. Eier mit Speck und Toast, sind ungewürtze Eier mit Speck und Toast mit einer Tonne Butter. Das Thunfischsandwich ist Thunfisch aus der Dose auf einem Baguette. Auch hier keinerlei Gewürze oder sonstwas. Hätte mir eine Thunfischpaste gewünscht. Ansonsten schien auch die Bedienung etwas genervt zu sein. Vielleicht weil es an dem Tag regnete.

Majowa wizyta miło wspominana. Troszkę empatii i uśmiechu by się przydało u obsługi, ale źle nie było. Dania smaczne i dobre półwytrawne porto... Tu nie przychodzi się na pizzę i burgery więc malkontenci do fast food-u mogą iść. A ceny jak na Portugalię i to jeszcze Algarve wcale nie przesadzone. Pozdrawiamy z Krakowa załogę restauracji ...!

Ce restaurant mérite 0 étoile nis aller jamais j’ai trouvé des cafards morts sur la carte ont na attendu comme des cons 25 min personne nous as calculé les toilettes sont dégueulasses et le serveur est un gros dragueur relou il forcer sur 2 cliente on est parti je rejoins les autres commentaires négatifs faut que leur restaurant ferme je trouve cela inacceptable.

Schön gelegenes Restaurant. Ein toller Blick über den Strand und das Meer. So weit , so gut. Am "Sie werden platziert" Schild steht man gelegentlich ein wenig, auch wenn der Laden leer ist. Zwei der Kellner gehören wohl zu den Leuten die zum Lachen in den Keller gehen, die anderen sind in Ordnung. Das Essen war gut, wenn auch nicht besonders, und die Preise ok. Die Speisekarte ist irgendwie unübersichtlich sortiert aber netterweise dreisprachig, unter anderem auch in deutsch. Es bedarf nur ein wenig Sucherei. Man kann sich den Laden also ruhig mal geben, ist aber kein muss.

A splendid position overlooking the sea. A remarkably wide choice of food: the items we tried were very well cooked and presented. Well trained staff and meticulously clean tables and chairs. Very good value.
So why only 4 Stars? Answer = the loud and unmelodious "music" that made conversation difficult. Such a shame.

Sehr beliebtes Strandrestaurant in Luz. Erinnert an holländische Strandpavillons. Freundliche Bedienung. Meistens voll, daher ist Geduld nötig. Wir hatten Schwertfischfilet mit Zwiebeln, Gemüse und Karroffeln, sowie Stockfischfilet mit gleichen Beilagen. 13,90 bzw. 15,90 €. Günstig und gut. Zum Nachtisch hatten wir Schokoladenkuchen und Mandelrolle. Beides sehr lecker. Wir waren insgesamt zufrieden. Daher ein "gut".

Je vous déconseille ce restaurant, malgré le cadre plutôt sympa , rien est frais étonnant pour un restaurant de bord de mer...
En plus de ça serveuse absolument pas agréable , elle se permet de lever les yeux aux ciel quand on lui dit qu'on a pas fait notre choix! Pour les connaisseurs elle aurait croisé Christian Grey elle se serait pris une bonne fessé ( humour)

We have eaten here a few times. The food has been nice enough, and the staff very pleasant. Only complaint is that it is overpriced for what it is and there are better options nearby. Kids like it as they can mess around on the beach.

First post ever. I will therefore post another place positiv. This place was unfortunately throughout negativ. Service really not nice, food loveless, many tables facing beach where free. But reserved and we wheren‘t allowed to sit there. When we finished after more than an hour, the good tables where still free.
Prices much to high for the quality. Please do not order a Greek salad. It’s all but not Greek. It sauce is more mayonnaise than anything else. And that’s not all. After one week in Portugal with two restaurant visits per day, this place was the only one with really unfriendly staff (and food).

Restaurante en primera linea de playa. La comida esta bien, buena ensalada, buenas pastas, buenas carnes y buenos pescados, buen servicio, buen ambiente. Lo único a decir es que es un poco más caro que en otros lugares, quizás do o tres euros mas por plato que en otros lugares. Hay que pagar que estas mirando al mar, pero creo que calidad precio buena y encima te das un homenaje con las vistas. Si tuviera precio algo mas apañados daría 5 estrellas.

We had here fish dishes and steak as well and everything was OK. Others claimed about the rude service. Our waiter was kind we haven't encountered any problem. Maybe the boss changed the staff after seeing your complaints..
There are a bit higher prices but you have a nice sea view.

The place is right on the beach - and the view is really nice. However the service is far from optimal. Visited during a late afternoon - it was us and one other table with customers. Took ages for the personal to get our order. Then our drinks were ready on the bar - but our waiter was enjoying his pizza on one of the other tables, so we got waiting, until I went to the bar to pick them myself. There are nearby bars which might be a better choice for a drink.

Nice place to relax by Luz beach. Food is typical Portuguese food and a bit expensive. The waiters bit hit and miss, they need to be trained a bit more to show warmth to their customers. I was waiting in a que to be shown to tablez along with 5 other people and I saw waiters wandering about doing nothing but yet no one came to us. We had to wait more that 15 minutes just to be asked. For food they are tasty. my favourite is grilled sardines and potatoes. My hubby got lamb chops and he said they are nice too. overall good but need improvements.

Tasteless poorly presented food. Had Piri piri chicken, no spice or flavour whatsoever, no breast meat
Kids chicken nuggets were horrible processed rubbish. Would’ve been better quality meat at Burger King!
We were seated at the furthest away area obviously because we had young children (charming!) and we were having a quiet civilised chat until the waitress seated the loudest, most unruly people with feral kids next to us
Wouldn’t go again.

Waren zum Kaffeetrinken im März hier. Schnelle freundliche Bedienung. Auch der Kuchen schmeckte sehr gut. Konnten ihn uns auf dem Tablet am Tisch ansehen und dann bestellen.
Es war allerdings zu dieser Zeit nicht sehr voll in der Lokalität.

Great place, especially for evening meals. Great atmosphere in a superb location right next to the beach and the centre of evening markets etc. Food is excellent and there is something here to suit every taste. Great for families, but due to its popularity I would recommend securing a reservation, especially if you are planning with a big group or at a peak time.

Food is ok nothing special. Service is strained, it always seems to be an inconvenient time to turn up, staff always miserable. We now go elsewhere to eat, there are so many choices and better places nearby. Dodgy guts after a drink (mojito) though could be the water used to make ice. Does have good views though (It's right on the beach!)

Great views, staff, food. Go for the naturally sparkling white wine and the fish dishes. Was incredible sunset made even better by the lovely staff. The same menu for lunch and dinner. Be warned the pizza is huge but ace, the fillet steak is worth it!

I had lunch with my boyfriend today at paraíso restaurant. One of the waitress was very impolite and as soon as we left the restaurant I started having stomach ache, by the time we got home we were both in the toilet for more than half an hour with a heavy diarrhoea. Besides the sardines we ordered were cooked with guts, intestines and everything, I have eaten sardines a lot of times during my life and I have never seen a restaurant where they don't clean the fish before cooking it. Expensive place in comparison with quality

When ordering pizzas to take away it took 20 minutes for the incredibly rude waitress to even acknowledge us and look up from her phone to take our order, even with a line building up behind us. When she finally did speak to us she greeted us with an incredibly inpolite and somewhat shocking 'what?' in an extremely aggressive manor as if almost confused by the fact that there were customers wanting to order. Due to the fact that this is the service they showcase right at the front of their restaurant, I cannot imagine what it must be like inside and wouldn't even bother giving it a chance, definitely wouldn't reccomend.

Waitress was impolite. Took 30 min to get a pizza and when it arrived it was not as ordered. When we made the waitress aware of the problem she rolled her eyes and removed the pizza without a word. It took 20 min to get the next one which was as ordered. It was just placed on the table without a word. The restaurant had very few customers.
The waiter that handled our payment was the only one giving a smile.
Food quality was low.
We will not visit again.

Terrible service, bar the waitress who actually took our food order and the waiter who gave us our bill at the very end. The girl who seated us was surly and couldn't have hated her job or customers more. It took five staff to walk past us before one of them lowered themselves to seat us. Threw down our high chair, threw down the covers, got a couple of grunts. I asked where the toilet was, met with a grunt and a point to a general direction at the end of the bar. Food was so so, nothing special, and certainly not worth the money.
Only positive is the view onto the beach.
Absolutely beyond me how this place had so many reservations and was turning people away.

Visited 1st night of holiday and extremely disappointed.
After ordering we waited over an hour for the meals to arrive. Food and beverages where very sub standard.
I understand that the restaurant was busy but on comments being made to waiter they were received with a shrug of the shoulders !!!
Would not visit again.

Das Restaurant liegt direkt am Strand und ist ein sehr cooles Gebäude. Das war's dann aber auch schon. Wir haben eine Stunde auf unser Essen gewartet, und das war dann durchschnittlich. Insgesamt eher Kantine!

Food was OK, slightly overpriced compared to other restaurants in the area. Overall experience OK, only ruined by a group of very rude and ill mannered waiters. Their lack of professionalism reached such a level that makes us not going back. I understand it is not easy to wait tables in summer time, they are probably overworked and underpaid....but they should not take it out on the clients with their rudeness ( if you complaint or just ask twice about your bread , they will come right at you with defiant attitude and almost forgiving your life. Management must step in or they will go down the drains.

Die Lage am Strand bietet die Atmosphäre, die wir mögen. Der Licht durchflutete Raum mit hellen Farben wirkt sehr freundlich.
Was wir hier am Abend gegessen haben, egal ob Fleisch oder Fisch, hat geschmeckt. Das Essen ist eher sachlich auf dem Teller angerichtet. Mit etwas größeren Tellern und Salat-Deko, könnten die Gerichte ansprechender aussehen.
Wer am Abend einen Tisch am Fenster möchte, sollte reservieren. Wenn es draußen aber bereits dunkel ist, nützt einem auch der Fensterplatz nicht viel.

Świetny widok z restauracji. Pizza spora i bardzo dobra. Hamburgery nie mają nic wspólnego z burgerami a w dodatku podają je na zimno! Obsługa słaba na wiecznym fochu.
