I was cycling from Monte Clerigo beach on the road towards Espartal, when one of your vans "Atlantic Surf Riders" almost knocked me off my bicycle. This was 11:20am May 1st 2020. I was taking a drink on my bike, when the driver beeped his horn loudly, then drove past me with only centimetres to spare. This was very dangerous, and I will be reporting the incident to the police. By the way, I am 69 years of age. I believe the driver was showing off to his friends in the vehicle. Dr. Cormac Murphy. Das Hostel ist vom Preis - Leistungsverhältnis überragend. Es liegt mitten im Stadtkern und ist super gemütlich. Oben gibt es eine schöne Dachterrasse und ein Chilloutbereich mit Bar und Ofen. Das Frühstück ist super lecker und täglich gibt's was selbstgebackens. Außerdem sehr gastfreundlich und für jeden Spaß zu haben. Danke für die geile Zeit!

Der Empfang war sehr nett, das Zimmer absolut in Ordnung. Das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse ist schon ein Traum und das Frühstück für ein Hostel überraschend vielfältig. Nur der Kaffeenachschub klemmte etwas. Das Hostel liegt direkt am Altstadtplatz, drumherum gibt es auch ein paar gute Restaurants. Um zum Stand zu kommen, ist aber ein Fahrzeug nötig (oder wer sportlich ist, mit dem Rad - ca 10 km). Preis-Leisungsverhältnis ist für mich absolut in Ordnung. Achtung: Check-in nur zwischen 13 und 19 Uhr möglich.

Für eine „Surfer“ Unterkunft, sehr steif... eher ignorant vor allem beim Frühstück sehr auffälliges nicht beachten. Die Begrüßung der Rezeptionistin ausgenommen sie hat ihr bestes gegeben. Sauberkeit OK. Es fehlt ein Aschenbecher am Balkon. Durch die umliegenden Lokale ist es bis 2Uhr Morgens (Montag) noch recht laut gewesen. Lage ist toll. Wirklich toller Ausblick.

Fine spot for a night if you’re staying in Aljezur - center of the small town with a chilled vibe. Hospitality was really poor - we didn’t feel welcome probably because we weren’t surfers. Quite noisy at night even on a week day. We skipped the breakfast to hit the road bc we didn’t want to be there longer than to sleep.

Descontraído e bem localizado.

Infelizmente é a primeira vez que não fico com vontade de voltar! Este local cada vez está mais porco, havia cotonetes no chão quando demos entrada no quarto, supostamente tinha acabado de ser limpo. WC cheirava a esgoto, mas tanto que a nossa roupa nos dias a serguir ainda cheirava.O pequeno-almoço uma vergonha!

Decepcionante! Mobília a cair, W.C. velho, não fazem mudança de toalhas, não mudam a cama, não despejam o lixo. Aliás, desde que entramos, ninguém vai ao quarto, fazer a devida manutenção. Preço/qualidade, horrível! Já paguei mais barato, com muito mais qualidade e Higiene!!!!

Uma má Experiência neste local, não recomendo, simplesmente a casa dos horrores, troca de toalhas em 4 dias.... 0, cama em 4 dias.... 0, Deixo a questão a Gerência se 70, 80 € por diária não podem fazer a manutenção dos quartos. Sem TV nos quartos. Nenhum funcionário fala PT, o dono diz o dito por não dito nos valores, Partes positivas, Marta, funcionária simpática, ambiente de festa no largo permanentemente.

Ambiente muy juvenil, buena cama y sábanas limpias, buen desayuno, no me gustó el baño, muy estropeado y las campanas de la iglesia sonando desde las siete de la mañana.

Ottimo rapporto qualità / prezzo, camere pulite, personale giovane e molto cortese. Ottima la colazione, non eccessiva ma con prodotti di ottima qualità. Consigliato.

Tolle Speisen & alles frisch vom Grill. Salat, Fisch (Meeresfrüchte aller Art) & Fleisch hervorragend. Klare Empfehlung für die definitiv besten Speisen in der Umgebung. Daumen hoch .

One of our favourite places to stay in the world. So friendly and welcoming. The roof top terrace is amazing. Doing Yoga there was unforgettable. Great staff make for an unforgettable experience.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Location was great, couple of nice cafés next door. Room was a little expensive (EUR60/night) compared to where else we stayed in the Algarve.

Nous avons réservé un cours de surf sur une journée avec Atlantic lodge et avons passé une journée incroyable ! David et Manuel étaient de supers instructeurs qui assurent la sécurité , nous donnent des feedbacks et nous encouragent . On a tous vraiment beaucoup progressé et en plus passé une super journée . Les échauffements de manu sont complets avec même une session de yoga , de détente . On y retrouve vraiment la philosophie du surf , fun , relax et océan . On a adoré et on a hâte de refaire ! Je conseil vivement !!!

Freundlichkeit sieht anders aus! Mit Arroganz, Ignoranz und Oberflächlichkeit wurden wir hier begrüßt. Doppelzimmer war so klein, dass man einen Koffer auf dem Boden nicht öffnen konnte (und wir hatten zwei dabei). Nach zwei Tagen fragten wir ,ob wir das Zimmer tauschen könnten. Darauf hin lies die Dame an der Rezeption gleich de Managerin ausrufen, welche nicht besonders erfreut den Raum betreten hatte. Mich hat sie nicht mal eines Blickes gewürdigt, als sie total entnervt in ihrem PC geschaut hat ,ob dies denn möglich sei. Die schnippische Bemerkung, warum man dies um 23 Uhr Nachts erfragt, ist mir ebenfalls nicht entgangen. Es war allerdings 22.40 Uhr und ich hatte die vorherigen zwei Tage niemanden jemals an der Rezeption gesehen. Habe es also einfach nutzen wollen, das gerade schon jemand da war und niemanden extra mit der klingel die vorne dran hing, belästigen muss. Habe dies auch so erklärt. Daraufhin wurde die Managerin nicht wesentich freundlicher. Auf mein Aliegen, dass Zimmer sei viel zu klein , entgegnete mir die Managerin, dass alle Zimmer in der gebuchten Kategorie die gleiche Größe hätten, was schlichtweg nicht gestimmt hat. Letztendlich wurde uns ein angemessenes Zimmer zugeteilt, das die doppelte Größe hatte und angemessen für zwei Personen ist. Das Hotel selbst hat an durchaus Potential. Es ist schade, dass das Hotelmanagement nur darauf aus ist, die Gäste mit dem geringsten Aufwand abzufertigen. Die nächsten Tage wurden wir von ihr ignoriert. Wir hatten das Gefühl nicht willkommen gewesen zu sein. Wir wollten eigentlich auch einen Surfkurs belegen, doch dies hatte sich aufgrund der schlechten Stimmung für und erledigt.

Nos defraudó encontrarnos con una habitación con una ventana y muy oscura cuando habíamos reservado una habitación con balcón. La cama muy incomoda.

Great lodgings with an especially nice breakfast. Well organized, high quality surfing lessons and an amazing location. I really enjoyed my stay here and will certainly be back.

My friends and I had a perfect stay in Aljezur, thanks to the nice hosts! We even extended our stay at Atlantic Lodge because we felt so welcomed. The apartments are very clean, with a very nice terrace where you can have a great breakfast. I highly recommend this place as well as the surfing and yoga classes which are offered there. We would love to come back to your place, Sophie!

Great location. Awesome instructors, lots of feedback and really fun vibes on the water. The accommodation is stunning, great value for the prices. Breakfast is the best I've had at similar styled lodges.

We had a very tidy room, with it's own bathroom. They provided us each two clean towels. The rooftop, where we had a beautiful free yoga lession during our stay, offered a stunning view over Aljezur. We had great breakfast with all the visitors from all over europe. It consisted of fresh fruits, selfmade bread and muffins and all kinds of spreads. The very amiable Team socialized with us in the evening and they gave us a lot of information about the area, for examle where we could surf and suggested us very good restaurants nearby.

Nice big room with lovely staff to go along with it. Had a really cheap stay considering we rented brand new boards and had amazing breakfast included!

We did a 3 days intensive surf training at Amoreira beach where this family-owned business has the grant over the beach for sport activities. We did not know they had also the camp site but we got invited one evening for a party and realised we missed a very good stay. The owner is a dutch family with super-friendly kids and they have a lot of international guests. Easy going and respectful of the customer. We are beginner surfers and we had an overall positive impression with the trainers prepared with a good eye over safety. We will definetly consider coming back.

Great fun. Nice and friendly service. We specialy loved the meals from Sarah. And Martin surly convinced me I could learn how to surf a kite. Super fantastic

This place is amazing! Perfect balance between an amazing place to chill with loads of great people but not a mad party place. You can surf and kite surf and there's 6-8 beaches around so you have a mad range of wave and wind conditions to choose from and loads of experts at the hostel that can tell you the best spots to hit per day. Incredible value for money - the rooms are gorgeous and beds are mad comfy and it's on a beautiful location so that gets the sunset every night. MASSIVELY recommend!!!
