Bura is the best hostel in Portugal, no competition! Pool, bar, rooftop yoga, gorgeous kitchen, and the loveliest staff in the world ❤️ feels like a second home!

Easily the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Staff are all cool, friendly, and knowledgeable about activities and locations to visit. It is a very communal place to stay, so some might not enjoy that aspect, but it makes it super easy to meet a bunch of random people to join for spur of the moment adventures.

Come and visit this lovely Surfhouse for a week or two. Definitely want to come back next year. The staff is friendly and gives good advices for activities during the day and night. Thank you!

Disappointed in this hostel after reading so many good reviews. WiFi is poor, 2 electrical outlets per 4-bed room. 1 shared bathroom for 14 travelers became a nightmare. If it weren't friendly staff and great food, I would have demanded a refund!

what a great atmosphere, the pool, the bar, the barbecue, rooftop, surf, even the staff was niiiiice, it is a must do if you go to Lagos

Happy little hostel with various activities you can book, shared meals for a small fee and pool/bar for relaxing. Hostel rooms are classic bunk bed style with lockers and there are shared clean bathrooms.

For a hostel it's very clean, spacious and comfortable, with really attentive and very helpful staff. The bar is cheap and the pool a real bonus. Meals are available with a little notice, but plenty of amenities/restaurants locally with a large Supermarche just around the corner.

The pool is amazing and really makes this place. Cool bar set up as well and the free breakfast is good. Room was basic for the price you pay. The family dinner was also a bit overpriced.

The girls at check-in were very friendly on our stay this past weekend. The place itself is pretty great, with easy parking and access to a supermarket (if you have a car). Pool is nice and seemed clean (we met the pool guy). Unbeatable beer prices at the pool bar (3 beers for 2 Euros). Bar staff lady was uninterested and disconnected. Wasn't fun ordering drinks when you know she'd rather not get up and serve them. The design of the hostel mandates earplugs if you value your sleep. As the rooms are interconnected you will always be subjected to noise at night. The dorms have one entrance. A group of girls woke us up at night when they departed. Not everyone is respectful so definitely bring some earplugs. In summer the rooms are very hot.... stay elsewhere if you need a fan or AC to sleep.

Incredible hostel! Truly one of the best I've ever stayed in. Pool, dirt cheap bar, ping pong, great breakfast, family dinners every night, a huge kitchen with oils and spices, lovely rooftop, and free stuff like towels etc. The staff are all obsessed with their jobs and make for an amazing atmosphere. Cannot recommend enough.
