We stayed here in ‘low season’ (april) and the service was also very ‘low’... we read about a bed and breakfast with daily yoga, massages,... but this is not happening in low season. We didn’t get any breakfast, there were no yoga sessions, the wifi was broken,... & most of the nights we were alone in the house. Too bad because the guesthouse has a very nice location, is clean, has a small pool and even a skate ramp and a fire place. After the winter we expected a warm welcome and some more hospitality... a lot of promises from this guesthouse but not in low season apparently...

Nice big home, can sleep 18 in 4 bedrooms, 4 refrigerators, 3 bathrooms to share. Being used mainly as boarding house for groups of surfers.

Liquid Mountains is the best location to base yourself for a surf holiday in Aljezur. I organised a stag weekend of 13 guys to Liquid Mountains. From the first email i got the impression they really cared about our experience and all along the way they helped out with every request. When we arrived we were not disappointed. We were promptly collected from the airport and taken to the lodge, perched on the edge of a beautiful valley which looks down to a lagoon. The accommodation was clean, airy and spacious, outside was a nice pool, basketball hoop and skate ramp.We were served breakfast in the morning and in the evening Sebastian arrived to open and serve from the bar to us! The Liquid Mountains team organised our surfing activity and equipment hire, transport to and from the beach, plus yoga and hula session to keep us busy. The beach we went to was gorgeous and the tuition we received, as beginners, was great. Everyone loved the surfing even though we only had a few minutes of time standing up between the whole group! What really struck me about this place though is that its would be really well suited to a family group or individuals as much as a large group. Its really peaceful and quiet there and I would ideally do a return visit alone to enjoy the silence, good weather and food as a weeks retreat. Overall I recommend this place to anyone and everyone, if your not sure about anything just send them an email.
