Dishes were not bad, not brilliant, but the naan appeared to be re-heated and not fresh (take away, otherwise I would have returned it)

Shalimar had a nice atmosphere as well as staff. The food was excellent also and they played nice Bollywood theme songs in the background. I'm not trying to be a stereotypical Indian dude here, but overall they got the Indian vibe down in the best way :)

Excellent restaurant. Plats épicés à la demande. Nous avons choisi poissons curry et crevettes curry avec riz. Un très bon vin accompagnait cette soirée. Prix raisonnables.

Fantastic Service and Food. This restaurant has the whole package. The best service I've experienced in a restaurant, and I place the food on the top of my 'best Indian food I've had". Well worth a stop. Exceptional grub awaits.

Came back out after visiting a very disgusting toilet which was very worrying when we hadn't even ordered!!then walked back down to Indian restaurant on the sea front which was very clean and actually had people eating in there !!

Very nice Indian restaurant located in Lagos. We arrived just as it was opening for an early dinner. The kitchen was already prepared for service. Our order was taken promptly by very friendly staff, even to advise on the level of spice for the dishes. The food arrived quickly and hot. It was very pleasing and the food tasted great. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. They accept credit cards and provided take away box for our left overs.

Ouhaou ! C'est juste un délice ....un restaurant à ne pas manquer sur lagos .
Quand on est au Portugal On a pas vraiment envi de manger indien...mais après 4 /5 resto poissons, morue on se laisse bien tenter !
C'est une belle surprise ...agneau curry délicieux une présentation atypique ! On a adoré les enfants aussi

Sehr sauberes, gut geführtes Indisches Restaurant, mit umfangreicher Menükarte. Alles was serviert wurde war exzellent zubereitet. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und hat explizit vorher nach der Schärfe der Speisen gefragt. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm und wurde dezent von Musik untermalt, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken.

October 19. Great food... service was great with good attention. Curry sauces are spot on. Pakora for 2 , lamb Buna, lamb saag, piluea rice and plain nan, 2 beers and glass of wine just over 35€ . Great value for the quality of the food. I'd go back again

Cuisine excellente. Salle très grande et propre. Nous avons pris du poulet et des crevettes avec du riz ainsi que des naans à l ail avec un petit vin blanc. Le tout conseillé par la responsable. Nous avons très bien mangé. Personnel sympathique. Nous reviendrons.

Beste Samosa! Der Rest war auch super lecker, ich empfehle dieses Restaurant sehr gerne weiter. Unsere Bedienung konnte 5 Sprachen sprechen und war sehr aufmerksam. Leckere, authentische, hochwertige indische Küche. Preis Leistung 5 Sterne.

Read after this critic ....One Start to star we are 2 families with 4 children’s, I asked if We could order for the kids and they said “NO” restaurant is empty...... seriously !!!!!!! OMG the food was incredible, i really don’t have words for the amazing flavour that we been served... but owner c’mon kids first

Great indian food in the center of Lagos. We had sangria, Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Vindaloo. The spice level was perfect, we asked for very spicy. They can make it as spicy as you prefer. If you are in the mood for indian, cant go wrong here.

The best Indian restaurant in Portugal! The dishes were amazing and very tasteful! The portion was good size. The staffs were all friendly and polite! Definitely will go again!

Food wasn’t well cooked. Nothing special about it - only okayish in taste. Price was good though. For a meal for 2, we paid €21 without drinks.

Really good food, service was OK.
I’m always sceptical of Indian restaurants abroad, but the mood took us and we clearly got lucky. Fish Pakora very good, light batter. Korma was good, slightly more spiced than normal. Chicken Jalfrezi was very good indeed, very good flavour. Chicken did taste a tiny bit pre-cooked, but wasn’t dry.
Would return happily.

Um restaurante indiano comum menu muito variado e em que o. Pessoal é muito simpático. Sempre que venho a Lagos é um dos restaurantes que não perco. Só é pena estar sempre com poucos cientes, o que não conduz com a qualidade do restaurante.

Das Restsurant liegt in einer kleinen Seitengasse. Daher sehr ruhig und gemütlich. Hatten nicht reserviert aber war kein Problem. Hatten je eine Vorspeise die sehr lecker waren. Zum Hauptgang hatten wir ein Poulet- Curry und ein Poulet mit Joghurt und Mandeln. Das Personal war aufmerksam und sehr höflich. Nur die Tische sind etwas wackelig..
Insgesamt hat alles super gepasst.

It would have been a better experience if I had some masala sauce with my tandoori chicken instead of the sauce they have offered (never had any issues in previous Indian restaurants that I have visited) but enjoyed my diner anyway thanks to my girlfriends Karahi sauce!

Came by on a Saturday evening in the winter time. Luckily it was open! Vegan friendly too :
I ordered their yellow pea daal, potato cauliflower dish, and their spinach potato dish for our main dishes. For appetizer I had the papadam with mango sauce and the vegetable samosa. Please be very careful when ordering vegan. Must state you don't want "NATAS" which means cream. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They have inside and outside seating. Be careful with smokers when sitting outside.
