Non loin de Monchique, en Algarve, un restaurant simple et à prix "portugais" avec une vue superbe lorsque l'on se trouve en terrasse.
Un responsable qui parle parfaitement Anglais et avec un grand sens de l'humour qu'il pratique même lors de votre première "visite".
Il est recommandé de réserver.

Muito inferior ao que estava habituada....pelo que me foi dito mudou a gerência....!
Funcionários muito confusos, esperamos imenso tempo pelas entradas o que fez com que os pratos quando chegaram ainda estávamos nas entradas.
Havia lá dantes uma funcionária sozinha que dava conta do trabalho ... muito simpática e profissional.
Agora estão dois e não conseguem dar conta !
É pena...pois é um lugar que vou há 30 anos.

View is fantastic but the food isn't. Had sole and the better half had bass. Fish was ok but the vegetables were dreadful, over cooked and soggy, and potatoes poor. The service was done without a smile. Would,not go back again.

Thia restourant became quite expensive during the last three years. Food quality, not better than the others. Cleanliness not good. The view from the terrace is ok. In my opinion they are asking too much as price taking advantage from the foreigners....last time we spent 20 euros per person.... definitely to much for such place!

I've been coming to this wonderful restaurant for at least 30 years. The food and service are aways great and the view is amazing. Just be careful crossing the road.

Schnitzel nicht zu empfehlen, das konnte auch die hervorragende Aussicht nicht ausbügeln. Sauberkeit und Wohlfühlfaktor sind auch ausbaufähig.

First visit to Monchique and Restaurant Rampa. Excellent food and service. Had soup to start chicken piri piri but also good tapas with drinks to start. Well done we will visit again for sure !

Quem pedir bife da casa leva sola de sapato dentro de um molho que parece uma sopa. Precisam ter umas aulas de culinária. Salvou-se a sobremesa que estava saborosa. O preço é muito elevado para a qualidade. O pessoal é simpático e atencioso, mas mesmo assim não recomendo.

Fast wären wir vorbei gefahren., da es so unscheinbar ist. Haben es aber gefunden und hat uns nicht gereut. Sehr einfach aber Welt bestes hähnchen piri piri. Muss man gegessen haben. Sehr sehr lecker. Und sehr nette Bedienung.
Wir gehen sicher nochmal hierher. Preislich Top.

Absolut zu empfehlen.
Das Piri-Piri-Huhn war Mega lecker und knusprig! Die Pommes sind der Hammer. Man merkt: selbstgemacht (geschnitten) und auf den Punkt frittiert.
Das Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend.
Das Lokal bietet drinnen und draußen Sitzplätze und ist vom Interieur sehr urig. Aber das ist halt Portugal. Preislich auch alles top!

Das Restaurant ist wunderschön am Berghang gelegen. Von der Terrasse aus, die ganzjährig geöffnet ist, hat man einen phantastischen Blick in Richtung Küste. Das Essen ist traditionell portugiesisch und hervorragend. Wir haben verschiedenes von der Speisekarte ausprobiert und waren immer begeistert. Seit einiger Zeit fahren wir regelmäßig hin, um gierig die Spezialität des Hauses "Frango Piri-Piri" (würzige, mild scharfe Hähnchen; das typisch portugiesische Piri-Piri Gewürz wird zum Nachwürzen auf Wunsch auf den Tisch gestellt) zu verspeisen. Einfach nur köstlich! Empfehlung auf ganzer Linie!

Ein kleines, uriges Restaurant in den Bergen oberhalb von Lagos. Die Spezialität hier ist Piri-piri Hähnchen, das auch im Reiseführer Merian angepriesen wird. Es scheint, dass 80% Deutsche dieses Restaurant besuchen - haben alle den gleichen Reiseführer gekauft?
Auf jeden Fall ein Ausflug wert!
Tipp: Gegen Abend genießt man einen schönen Sonnenuntergang von dort.

Great view, Alvor in the distance. Worth the trip. Really tasty food with very reasonable prices. We had grilled sole, peri peri chicken and beef with mushroom sauce, all very well seasoned and cooked. Very friendly staff and very good service.

Ce restaurant on me l'a recommandé! Et j'en suis pas déçu! J'étais dans une villa dans le vallée de monchique et je descendais et j'y étais directement et j'y passais toutes mes soirées!
Le service au top et leurs poulet piripiri absolument magique! D'ailleurs c'est leurs spécialité!
Si vous passez par la, arrêtez vous ça en vaut le coup!

O restaurante tem uma paisagem espetacular com esplanada a favorecer.
O atendimento foi rápido, muita simpatia da parte dos empregados.
O frango especialidade da casa recomenda-se pois é extremamente saboroso, com um molho de deixar água na boca.
Gostei muito mesmo muito, passo a palavra, vale a pena programar para um domingo, acreditem, não se vão esquecer e vão regressar certamente, pois foi o meu caso.
E claro não se esqueçam de ir até à Foia.
