Mycket god mat! Stället ligger inne i ett bostadsområde så man hittar inte hit på måfå direkt.
Mycket trevlig personal och alert servitör. Mat och vin var mycket gott, dock var det aningen snålt med vin i vinglasen. Det som drar ner detta från fem till fyra är dock ljudnivån. Helt omöjligt att föra en diskussion och stället hade nog gynnats av lite akustikbehandlig för att minska bruset.
Lite dyrare än genomsnittsresturangen men i förhållande till vad min fick kändes det rimligt.

Gourmet food and fine dining experience at reasonable prices. The staff were friendly, and attentive. Very glad my wife and I went out of our way to visit this fine restaurant.

My husband and I visited this place today and went all in for a three course meal. The food was delicious and the desserts were amazing-defo need to leave room for dessert. The service and friendly staff added to the relaxed ambiance. The food was fresh and came in good time. We booked and I reccomend this - especially in peak times. We got the squid and goats cheese for starters, black linguine with seafood, braised beef for mains and the mousse and chocolate cake to finish. Everyone looked please with their food as I was gazing round. Enjoy

The spirit of the restaurant was different than we expected. We thought it would be more laid back but it was more fine dining. The food was good though. Only the garlic butter didn't have any flavour of garlic.

Noite perfeita. Portugal na TV, staff muito simpático e acolhedor, bom ambiente, e acima de tudo, comida muito bem confeccionada. Adorei as Bombas de Sapateira, o camarão picante, o queijo com compota de malagueta, os secretos, a ceviche de bacalhau... Já o meu filho comeu e partilhou, um suculenta e bem cozinhado, bife da vazia, e uma deliciosa sobremesa de mousse de chocolate branco com gelado de limão e maracujá. Com toda a certeza voltarei a este restaurante. Aconselho.

Schönes Restaurant mit Wohlfühlambiente. Es gibt eine kleine Auswahl an Vorspeisen und verschiedene Fisch- und Fleischgerichte als Hauptspeise. Die Qualität hat uns überzeugt. Preise der Qualität angemessen. Sehr zuvorkommender und freundlicher Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

A quiet place out of the old town where they have great lunch specials at great prices. The staff are really great here, very attentive and the food is great! I love to come here to have a glass of wine and a tapa. The reason I come back is the staff though, I value great customer service wherever I go

Excellent service and food. Pork belly was crisp and not greasy. Laid on a vegetable puree, a perfect complement. Prawn Risotto was tasty and al dente. Overall a great meal.

Superb food and service
Food was superb. Starting with, snack food: bread and the house selection: doritos-like crunchy bread and warm bread bun. The mixed cheese with cured meat and the mayo were very good to keep us entertained while waiting.
Crispy squid, ibérico pork loin strips and chicken wings.
The squid was very good, texture and the dipping sauce was great. The pork loin was tender and fresh, with herbs, white wine, lemon and apple sauce, to keep it fresh and light on your palate. The wings were very flavourful, a bit on the dry side (maybe) but very nice taste, can't really fault them.
After that we had the mackerel and steak tartar, both finger-licking good!!! The mackerel melts in your mouth, accompanied by slow fried onion and peppers in white wine and lemon sauce. The waiter mixed the steak tartar with the egg yolk and mustard in front of us.
Everyone was very, very, very nice. They all spoke English. In fact, one of them speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese. The other one speaks English, German (he spoke to the table next to us) and Portuguese, obviously.
At the end of the meal the Chef came to see us, and he spoke Spanish, Portuguese and greeted us in English too.
Totally recommend this place!! See you tomorrow!
Edit: went there again next day, dinner again. Everything good, everything correct, as before. Good vibes, good interaction waiters - customers. Overall a good experience, not only food.

This is the first time I can remember that I've really been wowed by food and service. It was a real restaurant experience from all the staff members together rather than just going out for dinner with my boyfriend as per usual. We had tapas and every dish was perfectly cooked and the flavours were very cleverly put together. Even the bread and sides were done with flavours which were created with care. It seems like everyone here takes pride in their role and knows exactly how to do it, from the front of house to the kitchen staff. We spoke to the chef afterwards because we were so happy to eat food that really impressed us. We're going back again today for more.

Que grato descubrimiento!! Muy rico! Todo espectacular (sobretodo el solomillo y los postres). Los chicos muy agradables. Atención de 10! El mejor lugar donde comimos en nuestros días de vacaciones por Algarve con diferencia! No duden visitarlo es todo un lujo y buenos precios para la calidad que sirven!

Wonderful tapas restaurant in Lagos. It was a short walking distance from our hostel and was on a street with many other restaurants. We sat outside and received excellent service. The portions were great sizes for tapas and everything was incredibly delicious and fresh!

5 out of 5 for sure! Food was absolutely amazing, service even better! I had the crispy squid as a starter and black pasta with sea food, both terribly delicious. The staff was supeg friendly, explained everything we asked, really no words!
The only pity is I would have loved if the location was more appealing, but thats just because I'm spoiled. You won't eat better in Lagos. Don't miss it!

Het ligt niet op de looproute, we kregen de tip van de serveerster bij het ontbijt in ons hotel. We hadden de calamaris strips vooraf en buikspek en john dorry filet als hoofdgerecht. Allemaal erg smaakvol. Hoofdgerechten ook mooi gepresenteerd op het bord. Goede tip en dus een aanrader.

밥 종류는 다 짠 편이고 해물밥은 더욱 짭니다. 더 짜증나는 점은 한입한입 먹을 따 마다 조개 껍질이 겁나 씹힙니다. 제일 어이없는 부분은 더 이상 만들지 않는 메뉴를 오더받고 아무말도 해주지 않고 자기들 마음대로 메뉴를 바꿔서 주고는 이에 대한 컴플레인도 무시하고 사과도 일절 없었습니다. 심지어 비웃기 까지 했습니다. 다시는 절대로 가고싶지 않은 식당입니다. 서버도 별로고 특히 매니저의 대응방식이 아주 저질이였습니다.

Un sitio muy bueno para comer el queso de cabra con la mermelada es impresionante, puntillas de calamares revosados y la cataplana es pequeña y le falta marisco pero esta muy rica, Para darte un capricho esta buena la comida. Lo malo que es caro pagamos 62€ solo 2 personas y la verdad que acabamos desesperados esperando el postre unos 30min. Y la cuenta.

My family and I came here on a Tuesday night after making reservations. We arrived around 8pm, and waited for almost 20 minuets just to get the menus, we only got them after asking. Same for the wine menu. It took way too much time for the main courses to arrive, almost 45 minuets after finishing the starters.
The food was good except for the cod which was overcooked and we asked to return it. The staff wasn't really nice and they didn't even apologize for the bad service.
Overall-good food and fare price, but the service is poor and it doesn't worth the wait.

Tolle Tapas, tolle Qualität und tolles Personal.
Das Personal spricht Englisch und teilweise sogar Deutsch. Garpunkte beim Fleisch super getroffen. Vor allem zu empfehlen ist aber das frische Kabeljau-Ceviche. Eher gehobene Preisklasse, aber ein absolut empfehlenswerter Geheimtipp.

Llegamos muy tarde sin reservas y aunque no nos prometieron sitio al final nos acogieron y nos dieron una de las mejores cenas que he tenido en mi vida con unas alitas de pollo picantes una rodaja de bacalao y un filete de cerdo con puré de manzana o cebolla caramelizada espectaculares. Solo dos postres y ambos espectaculares: tarta de queso y el.mus de chocolate blanco IMPRESIONANTES. Luegonuna oar de copas de Beirao y el trato muy amable de los camareros. Volveremos.

Recomendo marcar mesa para o jantar (pelo menos durante o verão). O preço ronda os 50€ para duas pessoas.

Posto molto affollato,tavoli molto vicini,vino caro e non cosi buono come da altre parti dove con un prezzo minore si trova un'ottima scelta,tapas buone,ma care,anche se il fritto era duro e freddo,baccalà stopposo,dolcino nella media,personale cordiale.eravamo in 2,con 2 tapas,2 secondi,1 dolce,1 bottiglia di vino da 22 € quasi 80 euro...quindi decisamente troppo.il posto non è neanche centrale...e al centro con questa cifra si mangia in posti di lusso e benissimo, sopravvalutato!!!

El local es limpio y normalito. Pero sorprende la comida porque es estupenda; pedimos camarao salteado (no sé qué estaba mejor, si el camarao o la exquisitez de salsa que lo acompañaba), y arroz de tamboril, un arroz caldoso delicioso, muy abundante, éramos 2 pero fácilmente podían ser 4 raciones. Con vino blanco de la casa, agua, pan, mouse de chocolate blanco para compartir, y 2 cafés 65€. Para la calidad de la comida me parece un precio razonable. El servicio muy atento. Repetiremos seguro.

The only slight disappointment was the olives (slightly too bitter for our taste), and the steak and chips arrived braised in a sauce. This was still tasty, but not what we expected so might need to be explained in the menu. Otherwise excellent, especially the tapas. Loved the crab truffles, the incredible crispy squid and the beautiful prawns. The chicken wings were particularly tasty. I could have eaten loads of them. We had a wonderful evening. I think they could do with switching off the television (world cup football repeats were on??)

Un local muy agradable y moderno alejado del bullicio turístico. Nada que ver con la mayoría de la oferta hostelera del pueblo. Comida muy bien presentada a precios correctos. Todos los platos de todas las mesas tenían muy buena presentación. Le quito una estrella por el arroz tamboril. Acostumbrados a los arroces de Levante, no nos gustó: arroz largo que parecia plástico y abuso del cilantro. A lo mejor este plato es así en todos los sitios pero si tiene tanta fama, lo dudo. Personal muy correcto aunque con falta de chispa. Quitando el arroz, 100% recomendable.

Was druk dus reserveren was beter geweest. Nu half uurtje gewacht maar was zeker de moeite waard. Risotto garnaal en vegetarisch waren erg lekker. Wel voor ons allebei veel te veel. De crab truffel en calamaris als starter waren super. Gezellige sfeer en er bleven maar mensen binnen komen, zelfs om 23.30 uur nog. Verder top bediening. Volgende keer gaan we voor de steaks. Die zagen er ook erg goed uit. Eigenlijk alles wat voorbij kwam zag er heerlijk uit.

Located up the hill a bit from the main downtown area in Lagos; it is quite good. The salted cod had good feedback from the folks I ate with. I had the black linguine & sea food (which comes with mussels, shrimp and octopus) in a rose type sauce. It was very good and I would recommend trying it! The cheesecake with berries was also quite good. For those that care the bread and olive oil are extra $ BUT they provided liquor wine (similar to ice wine) after our meal on the house...you win some you lose some :)

Had a fun meal here with my sisters and family. We were looking for bacalhau (salt cod) and found some here. Bit of a modern take. Was really tasty and had a nice firm texture. Chocolate sundaes for dessert were fantastic. Good times. Bill for 6 with drinks, mains and dessert was 150 Euros. Casual fine dining at a reasonable price I'd say.

Fast service, but maybe too fast. Felt a little rushed. Our table was also very very close to the one next to us... Not exactly intimate!
The food was OK but not huge portions. The "homecut chips" were just standard French fries. The goats cheese was just goats cheese on a plate with some chilli jam - would have been nicer baked or served with bread. The starter selection of pate and bread was small - two slices of bread.
The prawn polenta was beautifully tasty though! If I went back I would not have Tapas.

Acabamos invariavelmente por cair nos petiscos que nunca desapontam e deliciam e enchem a alma.
Passeamos alegremente pelos vários sabores e aromas. Desde as crocantes asinhas de frango com molho de tamarindo ao cevice de bacalhau, aos ovos marafados, ao Xerém de camarão e à verdadeira batata frita!Tudo maravilhas e manjares dos deuses para as papilas gustativas!
Com este lauto périplo gastronómico já não sobrou espaço para a sobremesa, apenas um ínfimo dedal onde coube o delicioso café que veio coroar uma refeição que nos deixou duplamente satisfeitos!

Unsere Vorspeisen waren ok aber nichts besonderes. Das Angus-Steak war geschmacklich sehr gut, war aber sehr sehnig, was bei dem Preis passieren darf.
Für ein Lokal der gehobenen Sorte sind die Tische viel zu eng gestellt, zum nächsten Tisch ist der Abstand weniger als 50 cm.
Der Service ist nur durchschnittlich.
In Anbetracht des Preisniveaus ist dasLokal nicht zu empfehlen.

Parece que debe estar de moda por el tipo de comida que sirven, llegamos y había lista de espera, la carta se compone de una parte de tapas y otra de platos. Las tapas rondan de media los 7€, y los platos los 16€.
No es el típico sitio de Portugal con platos abundantes y a buen precio.
Otra cosa que me ha dejado perplejo es que el agua no es agua embotellada, es agua que ellos dicen que filtran directamente, adjunto foto con la leyenda de marketing de esta idea lucrativa.
Osea yo abro el grifo paso el agua por un sistema de filtrado y te la sirvo, en una Botella de 750 ml. eso si, te cobro 2.95 por ese agua filtrada.

Fuimos a comer ayer debido a los buenos comentarios de las personas que lo habían hecho mi impresión fue pésima pura bazofia hasta en la mili se comía mejor pedimos el arroz con marisco y era arroz medio cocido con unas cuantas gambas congeladas mejillones igualmente y un trozo de pescado los niños se pidieron su respectivo platos no se comieron nada porque la calidad era pésima respecto a la bebida es Super carísimo cobraron casi tres euros por menos de 1 l de agua y para colmo tuvimos que llamar al camarero para que atrapase a una preciosa cucaracha que andaba por debajo de nuestra mesa y luego dice que en el Algarve se come bien y barato ja !! Me río yo de eso yo por mi trabajo viajo mucho por el norte de Portugal y no tiene nada que ver que sigan así y verás que pronto se cargan al turismo... Yo cada día pienso más que la gente ya no sabe ni comer y no sé cómo pueden ir a este tipo de chiringuitos es horrible .... una vergüenza !!!

Descubrimos este sitio en internet, fuimos allî despues de descartar varias opciones, y por las muchas y muy variadas opiniones positivas. La impresión que sacamos es que se come muy bien. Comida bien cocinada y bien presentada. Los camareros fueron muy agradables y amistosos, la verdad que el trato muy correcto. Es un poco alto de precio, pero aun asi, merece la pena ir a visitarlo. Está muy cerca de la playa y sobre todo, tiene muy buen aparcamiento y gratuito, cosa que me parece bastante importante.

Just had a dinner with my wife and two kids tonight at Tasca Jota and initially was very excited to eat here based on reviews, but left disappointed overall. Kids options are not listed on menu which made no sense and overall even though it is a nice environment it does not compare it the traditional Portuguese restaurant. As advertised it is modern twist, but people come to Portugal for traditional. I regret bringing my family here. Menu is minimal and wording is not clear. Overall, it appears they try to capitalize on tourists. Never in my life have I come to Portugal and paid so much for a meal. Somewhat ridiculous. I only have my self to blame. If I could suggest anything to anyone planning to attend this place...go somewhere more authentic where you can enjoy what Portugal tradition really is and not have same regrets I did when leaving. Never again!

Great food, great place and very great service. The staff has a great attention to details and is very friendly. We had a great dinner. Squids, linguines, pork, and rizzotos, everything was good. Great wine selection. If you are looking for a place outside of the center of Lagos with locals, that's your place!

Für uns eine der kulinarischen Entdeckungen in Lagos und Umgebung. Toller, freundlicher und bemühter mehrsprachiger Service. Das Essen war super: Egal ob Appetizer (frisches Brot mit Oliven, Butter und selbstgemachten Pasten), Vorspeisen (besonders die frittierten Tintenfischstreifen sind empfehlenswert) oder Hauptgerichte, alles war gut abgeschmeckt und auf den Punkt zubereitet. Gerade bei Risotto und Steak ist das ja (leider definitiv) keine Selbstverständlichkeit. Wir waren zweimal hier und kommen wieder! Und das ohne lange Wartezeiten.

Hands down the most delicious meal in Lagos. Do yourself a favour and have the John Dory filet and/or the steak - both are fabulous. Great service and friendly, warm staff! The meal was so good that we came back the next night - you will too

This is the place where locals eat. Food is very good and service amazing, open for individual order (if you go there with a kid). They have a great variety of starters. Price is good. Highly recommended.

I orderd some mariscos stew with no cilantro. The order came with little cilantro because they had a sauce already cooked. The crab didn't look so fresh and clean in the stew and even the taste wasn't ok as I've tried in other places.

Just amazing. If you got to Lagos you MUST go there. The food is amazing. I took the cod fish with Capirinha risotto. It’s really cheap. 15€ for a very nice meal. Try it and let me know if you like. I bet you’ll love it

I came here with my girlfriend for her birthday and we had a great evening!
The staff were very friendly and service was super fast! The food was delicious and beautifully presented! Would definitely recommend a visit and only a stones throw from the city centre!

La carte est très courte . j'ai particulièrement apprécié le duo de Tacos et les calamars frits ainsi que le boeuf et l'agneau en tapas ainsi que le steak en plat principal .
Le porc en tapas est du filet donc très sec et le ceviche n'a pas beaucoup de goût
Le vin tiré d'un tonneau est d'un bon rapport qualité prix.
Le service est très aimable
Point de vue ambiance , le restaurant sent le graillon et il y fait excessivement chaud . Il est très bruyant probablement à cause des grandes baies vitrées qui renvoient le son

Ottimo ristorante, con ottimi vini. Ideale per una serata tra amici o in coppia. Da provare la carne macerata (invecchiata in frigo). Con patate al forno cotte veramente bene. Il tutto viene ben presentato. Ottimi vini corposi.

Dos piores Restaurante em Lagos. Caro para a qualidade, serviço o pior que já vi. Minha irmã é intolerante a Lactose, ficou a espera de saber o que podia comer, com isto, tanto o empregrado como a cozinheira responderam não tenho tempo para isso. Arrogância não faltou e nem estava a metade de ocupação.

Les serveurs sont souriants, serviables, et parlent plusieurs langues. Le poissons était frais, donc le goût était extra et authentique
J'ai goûté un cheesecake qui m'a bien marqué
