Works in winter. It is pretty warm in rooms during the night if you use a heater. Weather is good so you can surf even in winter. Most of nearby restaurants are closed during off season. There is one opened where you can get a hamburger and drink a bottle of beer though. There is also a shared kitchen where you can cook.

We wanted to rent two boards right down at the beach (the only option at this beach). They had plenty of boards but all reserved for their surf lessons. They offered us the last they had which was already in pretty bad condition without a discount. Their take it or leave it mentality was quite unfriendly.

Surf Rental is a total rip off. They act all nice and helpful when you want to rent their equipment, but they try to take all your money with random claims, when you return the boards. Stay away from this place.

I can only rate the service of the surf rental close to the beach. The service and customer friendliness strongly depends on the person. In the later afternoon, there was a super friendly/awesome guy helping us with the boards (5 stars!). In the morning however, the staff was very unfriendly and unorganised - not only to us, also to other customers from other countries. E.g. it was forgotten to put the second board (which we rented) on the list. So we recommend to double-check all the forms and what is put on the list, or maybe just sort out the forms in the school/lodge up the hill. In the morning to early afternoon, the beach is rammed with surf schools due to the nice conditions, but hey, that's where we all need to start, don't we? Moreover, the instructor to surf student ratio in the water seems to be pretty normal for all the surf schools we have been so far.

Sin duda alguna, uno de los mejores destinos para disfrutar de unas vacaciones tranquilas con atardeceres increíbles y rodeados de buena energía. El camp está perfectamente condicionado para que se cumplan las medidas tomadas en relación a la Covid-19. El personal atento y encantador. Una experiencia inmejorable. Volveremos.

Es un lugar maravilloso para pasar unos días de relax y desconexión a la par que hacer deporte. La casa es perfecta, tiene unas VISTAS ALUCINANTES, destacar la limpieza y la amabilidad de los que trabajan ahí, el trato es inmejorable. Volveré el año que viene 100%

Super Qualität der Boards (keine billigen) es kann außerdem bei Bedarf vor Ort am Strand auch epoxy Boards ausgeliehen werden. Die Surflehrer sind extrem nett, hilfsbereit und geduldig. Am Ende wäre Trinkgeld eine super Geste. Neopren Anzüge sind reichlich da sie keiner mit einen zu groß oder zu kleinen Abzug im Wasser sein muss. Mein 3.x bei der Surfschule und mir könnte ich mich beschweren

Had the surf lesson for 2 pax and renting board after school. The lessons was ok (as the instructor was nice), the rest (staff on the counter and rental prices) was a mess. 20eur for 2hrs for softboard - crazy.

I can give 1 star for rentals as price for the boards is total rip off! 1 star for the stuff- guy at the beach counter as he was totally arrogant, however the instructor was very experienced and nice guy. I would highly recommend to look for another surf scool.

I loved Arrifana and Arrifana Surf school. The Instructor was very helpful and patient (it was my first time surfing) and it seemed to be the Perfect spot for beginners! The members of the team are all very nice and after I left and I had forgotten something, Marco, one of the workers, helped me to send it back via post. I can totally recommend to go to Arrifana for surfing and stay with Arrifana Surf schol!!!

Занимались серфингом в этой школе в августе 2017 года, брали урок на 3 дня за 150€. Первый день был на пляже Аррифана, второй день поехали на пляж в другое место с большими волнами, все было здорово. А вот на третий день на Аррифана не было волн совершенно, но нам сказали серфить на том что есть, а это волны где то 10 см, мы попросили перенести занятие на другой день, когда волны могли подходить для серфинга, но администрация отреагировала очень грубо и нахамили нам. Нас было пять человек, день 50€/ человек, итого 250€ заработала эта школа даже не дав урок нам, потому что волн в тот день не было. Спустя 2 года они удалили все отзывы которые мы о них оставили, но я буду публиковать правдивые отзывы пока эта школа не сделает что то со своим сервисом и отношением к клиентам. Судя по недавним отзывам других ребят, ситуация не изменилась, если волн нет, все равно гонят людей на пляж и не переносят занятия на другие дни. На данный момент я крайне не рекомендую данную серф школу и ставлю им одну звезду! P.S. Если вы выбираете хорошую серф школу в Португалии, обходите это место стороной, в том регионе есть достаточно хороших школ которые дадут вам супер сервис и эмоции.

Die Surfvilla liegt nahe dem Strand und bietet eine grandiose Aussicht über den diesen, die Klippen und das Cap. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind top modern und in einem Super Zustand! Auch die Panoramaküche und die Terrassen mit Blick auf das Meer laden zum Verweilen ein. Man kann sich selber etwas kochen (der nächste große Supermarkt ist allerdings 15min mit dem Auto entfernt) oder in eines der vielen nahe gelegenen Restaurant gehen. Frühstück und Lunchpaket sind im Komplett paket inklusive und geben einem mehr als die nötige Power für den Unterricht . -Natürlich ist es aber auch möglich ohne Kurs in der Villa zu wohnen oder auch nur am Kurs -ohne Aufenthalt in dieser teilzunehmen.- Dieser ist abwechslungsreich gestaltet und vorallem für Anfänger oder welche die schon Mal gesurft sind zu empfehlen. Auch ein professioneller Fotograf ist fast immer vor Ort, der einem die Fortschritte dokumentiert . Das Team lebt mit Vor Ort, steht einem immer zur Seite und lässt sich einen wie Zuhause,bloss halt eben im Urlaub,fühlen. Nachmittags kann man sich kostenlos selber Material leihen und sich auf eigene Faust in die Wellen stürzen. Durch die perfekte Atmosphäre wurde ich wieder total vom Surffieber erfasst und freue mich bereits auf das nächste Mal. Ich war mit dieser Woche rundum zufrieden und bin froh in dieser Schule an diesen Ort gewesen zu sein.

Die Verhältnisse des Strandes sind sehr gut zum Surfen und vor allem auch für Anfänger geeignet. Der Surflehrer gestaltete den Unterricht anschaulich und verständlich. Leider ist der Bereich der Surfschule sehr klein und aufgrund parallel laufender Kurse enorm voll. Die Gruppe war ziemlich groß, sodass der Lehrer nicht jeden im Blick behalten konnte, zudem achtete er nicht genau darauf, dass genug Abstand zwischen den Teilnehmern herrschte, was in unserer Gruppe zu einem kleinen Unfall führte/ bzw. hätte dieser durch mehr Aufmerksamkeit verhindert werden können. Nach dem Kurs war der Surflehrer sehr unfreundlich, als die Teilnehmerin, welche den Unfall hatte, ihren Neoprenanzug verspätet zurück gab. Er verlangte sogar eine Nachzahlung, welche der freundliche Mitarbeiter des Materialverleihs verhinderte. Der Preis ist für die kurze Dauer des Kurses sehr teuer (ca. 2 Stunden für 35 Euro inklusive Material).
