Top Appartment mit vor allem guter Küchenausstattung, sodass es uns an Nichts gefehlt hat. Neben neuwertigen Wasserkocher, Toaster, Mikrowelle und Kaffeemaschine waren auch ausreichend Töpfe, Geschirr etc. vorhanden. Ein kleiner Ofen wäre schön gewesen, aber mit Herdplatten und Mikrowelle kann man sich ja auch gut versorgen.Das Appartment ist sehr geräumig, die Betten sehr bequem und auf dem Balkon ist von morgens bis abends Sonne; Sonnenschirm ebenfalls vorhanden. Badezimmer ist modern ausgestattet, verfügt über eine schön große Regendusche und einen ganz guten Föhn.Der feine Sandstrand (Porto de Mos ) ist in 5 Min. zu Fuß zu erreichen und die Küsten von dort aus schön zu erkunden. Im November war hier angenehm wenig los. Lagos City ist vom Apparment aus zu Fuß in 25Min zu erreichen.

Geräumiges Appartement in Strandnähe super Bett und Nachts sehr ruhig und Dank der Klimaanlage auch angenehm kühl.

Excellent accomodation, very clean and had everything you needed. Its just a short walk to the lovely beach and the hotel even supplied the beach towels. Lots of choice for eating out in Lagos, which is only a short drive away with plenty of free parking. We would definitely stay again as it is a good base to explore the Algarve. The only criticism is the lack of check in desk at the property. You have to call another hotel that is part of the same group and they sent someone to give us keys etc. very helpful and friendly staff.

Todo muy limpio y buenas instalaciones. La piscina, si vas con niños, da mucho juego. Está a 2 minutos andando de la playa.

We have a nice stay, the room was spacious, clean, the beds were nice, the room was luminous, like the picture on the web site. The only downside for us was that the pool was freezing - a little bit less than the see, but not really fun. The sea is not far away, but if stairs are a challenge for you... it’s not in the center, so if you rent or have a car it’s nice. If not ...

Perfekte Unterkunft mit großen Räumen und eine kleinen Küche. Zu Fuß sind es 5 min ans Meer. Zum Supermarkt 15 min. Sehr schöne kleine Anlage, wir hatten eine super Zeit

Sehr schönes großes Apartment mit gut eingerichter Küche. Terrasse bzw. Balkon mit kleinem Tisch und Sonnenschirm auch verfügbar. Pool ist schön, sauber und mit guten liegen ausgestattet. Auch ein Bereich für BBQ ist am Pool verfügbar. Das sehr große Bett ist super bequem. Alles in allem eine toller Aufenthalt. Bis in das Zentrum von Lagos ist es ohne Transport etwas zu weit. Ca. 25 Gehminuten. Der Strand jedoch befindet sich nur wenige Meter entfernt und ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Sehr ruhige Lage mit ausreichend Parkplätze an der Anlage. Check-in und Check-out ist etwas umständlich gelöst. Der Schlüssel muss in einem anderen Hotel abgeholt werden.

Tolles Hotel mit Pool und in manchen Zimmern ein Blick auf den Atlantik. Nur ein paar Meter zum Strand. Nur leider war der Poll sehr kalt im Oktober.

Das Hotel liegt nur 400 Meter von einem traumhaften Strand entfernt. Die Betten sind ein Traum - 2m breit und superbequem. Schade, dass ein anderes Gebäude den perfekten Blick zum Strand verdeckt, aber ansonsten war alles super. Einchecke und Auschecken lief auch unkompliziert und die Restauranttipps waren super.

This hotel was beautiful but very difficult to find and the phone number given on Expedia was not correct. You have to check into a sister hotel that is several blocks a way and both are extremely difficult to find given all of the narrow one-way streets in Lagos. But it was worth it and had a wonderful queen size bed, large bathroom, partial kitchen, a pool, and lovely balcony within 5 mins walk to the beach and a little grocery store. Best stay in Portugal and Spain but I am glad I didn't try to find it in the dark!! GPS was worthless!

kleine Anlage mit 10 Wohneinheiten, ruhig gelegen und 5min fussläufig zum Strand, nächster Supermarkt (intermarché) mit dem Auto 5 Minuten, sehr gut sortiert, um das Umland zu erkundigen ist ein Mietwagen sehr empfehlenswert, gute Infrastruktur, 2 Strandrestaurants (immer vorbestellen) in der Nähe, die gutes Essen zu bezahlbaren Preisen anbieten, Empfehlung natürlich Fisch und dazu Wein von der Algarve, selbst kochen geht auch, aber die Küche ist etwas spartanisch eingerichtet, Personal sehr freundlich und es hat uns (Familie) an nichts gefehlt.

Great villa and well kept and serviced. Very sedate and private with a great pool. Nearest shop is a good 20 minute walk though and taxi service in Lagos as a whole is not brilliant. Lovely stay soured by no taxi being confirmed for transfer back to airport. Staff didnt really seem bothered so we had to arrange our own taxi which we felt should have been confirmed by villa. They simply said we can arrange one but it was far too close to missing flight hence we had to arrange ourselves.

I've now stayed at this property a couple of times and love it. The pictures do not do this villa justice. It is pristine. There is a supermarket a 10min walk from here, 2 restaurants on the beach just a 5min walk and breathtaking views of the Algarve coast on the rugged trails just minutes from your room. The rooms are large and comfortable, and did I mention spotless? The staff here really do a great job of keeping things clean and fresh. It's a little further from Lagos town centre but we never found this to be a problem as a cab from downtown cost €6.50. We also enjoy to walk so the 20min it takes you to get to places like Praia do Camilo or Lagos town centre was never an issue.

Clean, bright one bedroom apartment with kitchen facilities and 2 great balconies. Chairs on the master bedroom balcony a bit worn but big balcony furniture was good. 3 minute walk to beach, 15 minutes to town

The studio was large with comfortable king size bed. The kitchenette was stocked with all utensils, plates and silverware. 5 minutes to the beach.I would stay there again.

Quarto muito bom e espaçoso, pessoal da recepção atencioso, e boa localização, perto da praia de porto de mós. Além disto possui piscina e academia. Boa experiência.

The stay was nice. Nice big room with comfy bed, kitchen and sofa area. The only problem was checking in: there is no reception, you need to call to sisterhotel and wait for the stuff to arrive (in our case we had to wait 25 mins). Locationwise also not so brilliant (about 3km to Town) but nice and quiet neighbourhood.

Perfect location just 5 minutes from the beach (beach towels and umbrellas are provided). We booked a studio and the room was big with a fully equipped kitchen and a small patio. Room was perfectly clean and very nicely decorated, bed was very comfortable. There was also all we needed in the bathroom. There is no traffic as the street is a dead end, so there was no any noise either during a day or at night. I will definitely stay there again during my next trip to Algarve.

Clean, comfortable room. Wished for more amenities on-site. Nobody for check-in or available to answer questions. No services like ice, or drinks, etc. or gym and we had to find markets and things on our own. Would choose differently next time, but just because we were looking for a more resort type of location.

Fantastic, spacious apartment, and nice poolside area. Its just 5 mins from the nearest beach, and only a 30 min walk from the centre of Lagos (theres also plenty of shops and restaurants on the way) Staff were really friendly and helpful. We loved it!

Villa Mar Azul was a great find. It was super cheap (we were there in the low-season), and a great place to stay.When we first arrived late at night, we were a bit concerned - it seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. But in the light of day the next morning, we found that we were a five minute walk to what is easily the nicest beach in Lagos. The beach is wide and sandy, with lots of space, and a decent small surf break for those so-inclined.Right on the beach are two restaurants - go to Campimar for snacks and coffee (ask for the snack menu, not the dinner menu), and go to O Antonio for dinner (order the Monkfish stew, and share it - its huge).A 10 minute walk east on Estr. do Monte Carrapeto gets you to a great little grocery store where you can easily stock up on the essentials so you can take full advantage of the apartment kitchenette.In the low season (at least when we were there in March), we were the only guests in Villa Marazul, and the building was unstaffed. Reception was handled through another nearby hotel, who checked us in and shuttled us to the building, and also handled our requests through the week. While it seemed a bit odd, it all worked out fine in the end. The pool was not available to use at that time, although we could have used the pool at the other hotel if so inclined.Although you are a bit out of the way, it means you arent in the middle of the tourist drama of Lagos. Its about a 30 minute walk to downtown Lagos.

I was surprised how immaculate and big the apartment was. Very comfortable beds. Our car broke down during our stay and the front desk was very helpful in communicating in Portuguese to the rental company. Overall it was a great place and affordable for the size of the apartment.

We stayed here for 5 days last year with my boyfriend at the end f June and loved it. The room are very nice and spaciuos, with a small kitchen so we managed to have some nice dinenrs on our private terrace. The barbecue and the pool (you don't really need a pool in Algarve) made the perfect location to stay with great quality/value.

I didn't get a chance to actually stay at this place but I did make a reservation just to find out when I got there that the pool was undergoing construction. Fortunately I found this out before check in and was able to find another place nearby. On a positive note they were nice about the cancellation. It would have been nice if they had sent a notice via email disclosing the work being done in the premises.
