I've spent a lot of years in that bar. I grew up in that bar there's no other bar on earth id rather be in, surrounded by the amazing people of monchique. The toasties were addictive!!! But this bar is closed now, preparing to be taken over by new owners. We are all waiting to see what happens to our beloved second home.

Cheap and quality food, in an authentic location. Don't be fooled by the low prices: portions are huge! Service is good

Amazing atmosphere, tried the pastel de nata shot which was very good and the burger was 1000% worth the €4,50! Must visit when you go through town!

Best Bar for a night out in Monchique! On par with a boutique Paris or Manhattan club but better because it's personal, inexpensive and you're in Portugal Children and retiree friendly, community run fusion dj sets, live music and international jams every time, good WiFi makes it perfect for afternoon and early evening work sessions, popo don't bother patrolling through the plant filled alleyway w private benches , fresh sandwiches/toasties/burgers/salads, book out a side room for dinner with your friends & enjoy the tastefully art deco curated interior/exterior design and local art exhibits! Don't miss the hand painted elephant tiles in the WC!

Excelente tosta de atum! Espaço tranquilo e casual, bom para estar com os amigos e beber algumas cervejas. Fique a vontade, venha com qualquer roupa aqui. :)

E bom de ter Um local no centro da Vila e é mais por fora e as escadas com as flores aos lados é maravilha. As melhores sandes e tostas da toda a Vila de Monchique , serviços rápidos , música e bom ambiente , amizade enorme entre os clientes e visitantes , ar puro na esplanada e mesmo por dentro do bar , eventos culturais , como exposições de pinturas e outras , música ao vivo , Dj's no fim de semanas e feriados ,,,, é sempre abrir

Quirky leftfield bar with loads of character, found tucked away on some colourfully painted backstreet steps. Great beer, good value quality bar snacks and unique surroundings thanks to its creative owner and staff. Feels you've found a hidden gem.
