Amazing view in the terrace and the food is soooo good...one of my favourite resto...highly recommended!

Really enjoyed this place. Food was first class and so was the wine. It was Sunday night and the place was quite, but Andre the waiter kept us entertained. Really enjoyed the steak and so did my pal Ollie. The ladies really enjoyed the ravioli and the risoto. Will be back again. Andre the car belongs to my good friend A.S

Im Oktober ist bereits auch die Sommersaison vieler Restaurants zu ende und manchmal hat man das Gefühl, dass alles etwas auf Sparflamme läuft. Bei unserem ersten Besuch in diesem Lokal waren wir aber ganz begeistert von dem Elan und der Freundlichkeit die uns fast schon überflutet hat. Alle waren sehr bemüht, dass wir einen guten Sitzplatz bekommen und wir wurden bezüglich der Getränke und Speisen wunderbar beraten. Es wurde gescherzt und war alles sehr angenehm. Wir haben drei verschiedene Steaks bestellt. Das Fleisch war gut, die Saucen wurden in einem kleinen extra Schälchen serviert und als Beilage gab es Pommes Frites, garniert mit einem kleinen zurechtgeschnittenen Radieschen. Leider kein kleiner Beilagensalat oder ähnliches - dieses muss separat bestellt werden. Dennoch waren wir alles in allem sehr zufrieden und sind glücklich nach Hause gegangen. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir erneut das Steakhouse Vau aufgesucht haben. Diesmal allerdings in Verbindung mit der "Rota do Petisco", die allerorts groß angeworben wird und uns große Freude bereitet hat, da man viele unterschiedliche Lokale und Restaurants kennenlernt. Das Steakhouse Vau hat leider an dem Abend ein ganz anderes Gesicht gezeigt, als das uns bekannte. Der Service wirkte genervt und schon fast unfreundlich. Wir wurden nach draussen geschickt, wo wir uns einen Tisch aussuchen sollten, nach einiger Zeit kam der Service und hat die "Getränkeliste" runter gerattert, wir baten zusätzlich um die Cocktailkarte, da wir bereit waren nicht nur für die Kleinigkeit dazubleiben und wir die Cocktails von unserem ersten Besuch schon kannten und sehr gut fanden. Leider wurden wir fast schon etwas vergessen, die bestellten Getränke kamen noch, doch dann wurde an mehreren Tische (auch "Rota"-Kunden), die erst einige zeit nach uns besetzt wurden, das Essen bereits serviert. Nach einer halben Stunde, mit bereits leeren Gläsern und weder Essen, noch der Cocktailkarte, haben wir versucht freundlich nachzufragen, doch der Kellner hat das Gespräch mit einem Handwischen fast schon abgewehrt. Die Teller der Nachbartische waren bereits leer, da kam dann auch unser Essen. Es war lecker, keine Frage, aber der Service war wirklich unter aller Sau. Vielleicht waren wir zur falschen Zeit am falschen Ort, aber an dem Abend war der Service wirklich sichtlich überfordert und hat es uns auf eine nicht freundliche Art spüren lassen.

Amazing view, very friendly staff and kindness always happy to help, the sunset party was stunning, good ambience, great DJ. One of the best restaurant in Algarve best meat ever meat in my holidays, loves the spot is a place no to miss. Un sitio muy agradable. Tienen unas vistas preciosas. Nosotros reservamos para la cena a las 20:00 y fue todo un acierto pq coincidió con el atardecer! Es precioso. La atención de los camareros de 10 y la comida buenísima. Muy buena calidad y a mí parecer muy bien de precio. Lo recomiendo 100%

Mi pareja y yo decidimos cenar en este restaurante de la zona. La decoración era atractiva y cuidada. El trato del personal fue bastante ajustado en cuanto a rapidez y esmero. Tardaron bastante en retirar los platos y tuvimos que pedir la carta de postres ya que no la traian. Aun así el trato fue educado y correcto a pesar de no ser amigable y atento. En cuanto a la elección de la comida, pedimos pasta y costillas de cerdo. Ambas estaban excelentes aunque la primera un poco escasa de cantidad, los precios un poco elevados para nuestro gusto. Recalco que esta es una opinión personal y que cada usuario tendrá la suya respecto al restaurante y sus camareros pero esta noche quizá no fue totalmente de nuestro agrado.

A comida e razoável. As asinhas de frango são boas mas vêem apenas 3. O piano de porco preto é razoável pois o molho é muito doce e faltava um sabor mais equilibrado. Mas o serviço em si funciona muito mal. Muitos funcionários jovens e sem experiência que se atropelam uns aos outros, penso que precisam de formação adequada para que funcione melhor.

Limpo, acolhedor. Bom serviço. Magnífica vista da falésia, sobre a faixa costeira e o mar.

Great place with spectacular views over the ocean and amazing sunsets!! Had a drink in the lounge bar and chilled while taking in those beautiful views. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, definitely worth a try, one of our favourites

When we went we were the only people in there, it took 15 mins to get a drink, the starters were good, I ordered a picanha steak for main what came out was wafer thin and massively over cooked. My partner had sirloin and chips the sirloin did not taste great and the fries were cheap, frozen and badly cooked.

Local muitíssimo bonito, moderno decorado à medida. Excelente paisagem sobre a costa (praia da rocha e vau). A não esquecer que, um local de qualidade, tem um valor mais acrescido. As refeições são muito boas, mais podiam ser um pouco mais bem servidas no que diz respeito aos acompanhamentos. O staff é muito simpático.

Just stopped for drinks, slow service even though it wasn't busy and the cocktails were very poor, when my sister took her Pina colada back as it did not have a coconut taste to it at all the bar tender said the manager buys the cheapest coconut milk for them to use! The other three cocktails had no taste to them either and yet the prices were higher than everywhere else.

Ristorante con una vista spettacolare, personale tutt‘altro che professionale. Ho chiesto la carne cottura media ma mi è arrivata troppo cotta... Ci hanno portato la lista per i dolci per poi farci aspettare mezz’ora per l‘ordine.... Noi, che siamo pure residenti a Portimão sicuramente non ci torneremo! Tanto che ci sono molte alternative di ristoranti migliori.

Tolles Steakhause, sehr schöne Location, tolle Lage, freundliches und kompetentes Personal sehr feines und gutes Essen, Super gute Steaks , sehr guter Weißwein im Eiskübel gereicht, leider doch nicht so oft besucht? wir können es aber auf jeden Fall empfehlen!

Nicely done out restaurant in lovely setting. Food very poor yet pricey. Refused to pay for one meal which was inedible. Only received apology after we had paid the bill which was very poor customer service. Need to spend more time on quality of their food. I would give this place a miss.

Great Tuna Steak but did Not manage Steak medium done. Even after 2 attempts. Ordered wine not delivered.

The place is great with a good sea q view. I was here just for drinks and the cocktails were badly done.

Nice setting, quite posh. Prices higher than the norm around here (especially the wine). I must admit that although cooked perfectly, the steak quality wasn't quite what I expected. The sirloin was a bit too gristly. Other than that - very nice.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt leider nicht. Die Vorspeise zu klein und die Beilagen zum Steak nicht ausreichend. Der Ausblick ist super, aber das rechtfertigt nicht die Preise.

Luciano’s review was a big lie. This was a hostage situation. This place is no good and the service was not good and the food wasn’t either. Very uncomfortable experience. Only good thing to say was the view. Don’t go here

Absolutely rubbish a steak house that cannot cook a steak is just a over priced pub at best. Refused to pay, management were not happy. No apology no complementary anything. Avoid at all cost. You would be better served going to McDonald's and sitting on cliff top to eat.

Hier kann man Glück und/oder Pech haben. Wir hatten bei einem Besuch beides. Das Steak meiner Frau war Medium-Rare gewünscht - und war sooo dünn das es Well-Done serviert wurde. Dazu ein abgestandener trockener Salat. Mein Fisch war sehr gut und optisch auch gut angerichtet. Der Service war so lala. Küche nicht flexibel (unsere Tochter fand nichts auf der Karte) und die Preise für das Gebotene deutlich zu hoch. Die Lage ist toll - die Musik zu laut.

Poor experience, I arrived with my wife around 9pm, we came directly from the beach and we were wearing beach clothes, we asked someone inside the restaurant if social clothes was mandatory, the person said no, you can enter and place your order, the restaurant was fully of “gringos”, I think we got magical powers on that time and we become INVISIBLE, just us, the whole rest of the restaurant was pretty normal, the server checking if they have wine and if they were happy, after multiple attempts finally one of the girls cleaning the tables saw us waiving and went to the table. Well, they change the orders we order, we were the attending was terrible, when you go there, go well dressed and speak a foreign language and I’m pretty sure they well treat you with quality.

Steak war sehr lecker. Ebenso das Mangomus. Kellner sehr nett. Die kleinen Möhren hätten etwas mehr sein können.

Absolutely fabulous location !! Well laid out restaurant. Welcoming staff but completely let down by extremely poor quality tough steaks ! I mean this is meant to be a steakhouse ?? Four of the party had steak one fillet one rib eye and two sirloin whereas the other two. Of the party had Damon and risotto which were fine . Then to make matters worse we were grossly overcharged on our bill i.e. Two bottles of wine instead of one 6 beers instead of 4 Two glasses of white instead of one even ten squares of butter at€1 each and we only got 4 and finally when I complained to the manager all I got was a blank look and little or no apology

Three of us eat there last night and loved it. Beautiful setting and we had a stunning sunset. The waiters are all so friendly and attentive. Food was excellent, we tried ceviche and risotto. The risotto portions were on the small side, but so so tasty. Local white wine was good too. Couldn't recommend this place enough and we'll go back later in the week.

L'encas de l'après midi était très bien , le repas du soir très banal limite cuisine de cafétéria,prix trop élevé pour le soir , superbe cadre , a revoir une fois bien rodé car apparemment c'est un restaurant nouveau
