The place is nice and but the order took an hour for a couple. The manager apologised for delay but would not recommend if you are hungry and need a quick food.

This was not what we expected - the Café was full with people at lunch time and we gave it a try.
the staff was not very helpful or friendly they where even rude to the table next to us.
Soup, Fries and Toast was nearly as cold as our Salat at the time it reached us
Wont come back here...

Alors que dire...beaucoup beaucoup d'attente pour, en ce qui nous concerne, des hamburgers très très moyens, viande recomposée en guise de steak haché, manquaient les oignons dans un des deux, pas de sel ni sur les frites ni sur la table, eau hors de prix,etc...bref passez votre chemin ou sachez à quoi vous attendre ! Dommage pour Monchique...

Hoog in de bergen boven de Algarve ligt dit bergdorpje. na een steile, lange en slinger achtige tocht dwars door de bergen heen, kwamen we uit in dit schilderachtige dorpje. Op een terrasje waar het openbaar vervoer samenkomt en de bussen staan te wachten op hun klanten en de taxichauffeurs een beetje verveeld achter het stuur van de oude taxis hangen werd een prima kopje koffie geserveerd en kon je van een kleine kaart vol met lokale producten zelf een heerlijk lunch samenstellen. Echt een aanrader!

Freundlich und leckeres Omelette
Nach dem Besuch des Klosters haben wir hier eine Rast eingelegt. Es hat alles gestimmt. Omelette und Kaffee haben gut geschmeckt

Sehr ungemütlich. Schlechte und viel zu laute Musik. Der Salat hat mir nicht geschmeckt und es war viel zu wenig.

Bijna een uur zitten wachten op onze bestelling, volgens de bediening zou hun wrap met varkensvlees een specialiteit van het huis zijn. Ik vond het niks bijzonder, ook de toast was volgens mijn vrienden niet te pruimen.

I stopped in for a snack during a bike ride. The server was friendly and helpful, maybe a bit busy as she seemed to be the only one at the time. I had a coffee and almond tart(apparently house made) which was great. I took her advice on which way to take to the top of the climb, glad I did after seeing the alternative routes. I’d eat here again on my next ride though.

Acceuil sympa, parle français, menu snack donc on sait à quoi s'attendre, par contre les desserts maison sont excellents. Tarifs ou dessus de la moyenne

Sans plus, basic de chez basic, pâtes à la carbonnara simples, peu de choix dans la carte donc... Nous avons opté pour les pâtes. Rien d'original déjà vu.

For drinks the place is okay, altough my Ice Tea was expired. We also ordered a burger ,wich looked fine at first, but than we realized that the bun of the burger was grey. And then to top the horribel experince off, a snail craweld out of the salat on the burger. We don’t reccomend to go there.

Very poor expirence here. We (5 adults) went in for some fresh orange juice and crepes. It took around 25 minutes after placing our order to receive our orange juice, and then a further 20-25 minutes after that to get our crepes. We asked about the amount of time to cook our crepes and were told it was because the batter had to be made - but anyone with basic culinary knowledge knows batter takes minutes to prepare and not much longer to cook.
Food was also expensive - but to be expected in peak season.
