We holiday at Vivenda Brito twice a year and have done for the past few years, if we didn't enjoy every minute, we wouldn't go back. Can't understand that guy who said he was charged 40Euros for cleaning, he must have left the apartment in a very messy state.We have the large apartment at the end, the one with the b.b.q. but don't use it, there are to many good restaurants just a 5/10minute walk down into the town. Try Jota Lita, the owner, Joel is a bit of a nut case , his food is better than some, expect 40/50 Euros for two, you pay your money and you make your choice!! And no, we were not paid to add this comment, we sometimes get a bottle of wine at the end of each holiday, that's all! Back to Vivenda Brito, disregard that earlier review, the owner, Teresa is not the person who we know, the reviewer seems to be the sort of person who takes a perverse delight is writing such trash. Try one of the apartments, some are bigger than others I will admit, just tell Teresa you have come on the recommend of Sylvia and Norman from Manchester!

Eine sehr schöne, ruhige und überaus angenehme Unterkunft Wir haben Vivenda Brito durch Zufall gefunden und hatten deshalb nur ungenaue Erwartungen. Diese wurden allesamt weit übertroffen! Vivenda Brito besteht aus 3 sehr hübsch und modern eingerichteten Studios (jeweils mit kleiner Küche) und einem Doppelzimmer. Es gibt einen sehr schönen Pool mit großer Liegefläche und Sonne aus allen Richtungen. Die Gastgeber Theresa und Filipa, kümmern sich gekonnt um das Wohlergehen ihrer Gäste. Die Lage ist ruhig, aber gleichzeitig in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Ortszentrum (und Strand!).

Local apreciável , bem localizado no cimo das arribas na Praia do Carvoeiro Bastanto silêncioso, para quem quer um bom desconso após muito trabalho, e apenas a 300 metros da praia e um passadiço recomendado pelas grandes revistas do turismo, situado nos 7 vales suspensos. 5 estrelas.

We were really looking forward to our stay there, having looked at pictures and reviews which seemed ok. In the end, our stay was really disappointing and the trouble started from day 1. Here are the reasons why we will not go back there: 1- We were supposed to get three rooms within the same house and were told on the spot as we arrived to the residence that some of us would need to move out from our room halfway through our stay. The owner had knowingly double-booked one of the room. This meant that some of us had to stay in a different house, a couple of blocks away. The owner still made money out of that charging us an extra 20 euros/ night. 2- The beds are out of shape and the mattresses very uncomfortable. In fact, my partner and I ended up sleeping on the futon since the springs of the mattress were digging into our body. 3- The A/C in one of the room wasn’t working (we were also told that on day 1 with no attempt to fix it or accommodate us as a result) 4- Forget about the bbq unless you get the specific room which has it. This was another disappointment as we had to argue with the owner in order to get a portable bbq which was A4 size and that we could only use for 5 days. 5- Some of the chairs inside the rooms are loose and I wouldn’t recommend using them. My partner fell from one of them and nearly broke her wrist. 6- Last but not least, you will not be able to pay by check or Credit/ Debit card. Everything is cash in hand. This comes in handy when she charges you a 40 euros cleaning fee for every single room. The cleaning fee had never been mentioned before and we were made aware of it during check out, minutes before leaving. We refused to pay it and were “threatened” by the owner that she would call the police, which to be honest, would only have served our cause. In the end she accepted all the cash that we had to take out and counted it several times, making the whole situation awkward, on purpose! I could have gone on and on about how the picture was different to what we actually got. I feel like our stay could have been a lot better if we had been more careful in choosing the place. In fact the location is nice and there are plenty of places around that are so much better and cheaper. Unfortunately, we were not cautious enough and just wanted to warn you that if you book this place, you will not be guaranteed to get what you see. Stay away from this place and you will save yourself not only money but more importantly the feeling of wasting your holiday and the time spent with your friends and family.

Excelente opção próximo a Praia do Carvoeiro e ao centrinho com ótimos restaurantes , hospedagem tranquila ,anfitrião prestativo..sinta-se totalmente à vontade..
