This place was phenomenal. Drive away from every tourist place and come here. The staff was friendly and genuinely cares about the products the give to customers. I had the chicken Cataplana and my husband had the beef stroganoff. They were both amazing. Vegetable soup was full of flavor. Red Sangria... the best I have ever had. I will surely be coming back. I highly recommend this place.

Had one meal here during our two week stay even though it was vertualy on our doorstep from our Villa, one arriving we asked the Harry Potter lookalike for a table for four who replied in asking had booked a table even though being quite busy there were still plenty available and not many reserved which gave us the impression we were not welcome. We started with the Garlic Bread which was nice and then three of us had the Seabass and one had the Chief Stake, the Seabass was divine but the Chief Stake was served in a sauce which was not to my son's liking. On finishing our meal Potter pushed the dessert menu onto us even though we stated we didn't want a dessert which was being a bit too pushy for our liking and so we paid the bill and left. Can't really give a true reflection of the place with only one visit as some may find the manner of the waiters (only two) to their liking but we were not that impressed but the food was nice if a little over priced when compared to Carvo town.

Ga eens eten bij Restaurant Vale de Milho (hoort niet bij Vale de Milho Village, maar ligt op 5 a 10 minuutjes lopen). Super aardige en vriendelijke mensen, lekker eten, kind-vriendelijk, en voor ieder budget is hier een lekker menu te kiezen. De 5 sterren geef ik voor de service en vriendelijkheid. Ik kan dit restaurant zeker aanbevelen Note: het villa park Vale de Milho Village ligt hier in de buurt, rij het zand/grind pad uit en je komt uit bij een rolhek waarachter de receptie ligt

I ate here 3 times in August 2019. Without doubt my favourite restaurant in the Carvoeiro area, had 3 fantastic meals. Great couvert - something different each time - and on the last visit had a lemon meringue pie that one of the waiters had made which was delicious. The waiting staff are great - very friendly and funny. Will definitely be visiting again.

Great place to eat. We eat here every time we are in Carvoeiro, the people are all lovely and really go the extra mile to ensure you have a great evening. We have now tried most things on the menu and it is all superb. Everyone we have taken here has loved it as much as we do, we’ll be back soon.

Since my last inadvertent review (intended for a different restaurant!) I have now visited this restaurant several times. It is ideally placed, walking distance, for anyone staying on Vale de Milho or nearby. The ambience is excellent as is the food. The service is efficient and friendly. Highly recommended.

Arrived at 2330 after a delayed flight. The restaurant was practically closing but the staff were welcoming and friendly. The kitchen was practically closed as the restaurant closes at 2345 but they still made us a very nice meal. Fantastic! Will definitely be going again.
