This is a very good restaurant and George and Isabella are very very good hosts! The food is marvellous and i had a very good experience!!!

Despite what some visitor said: Chicken George is alive and well and still open 7 nights per week from 18.00 to 21.00 - April to October every year. Same menu as previous years - nothing new - just good home cooked chicken.

Sehr uriges Restaurant mit wenigen Gerichten wird von einem älteren Ehepaar betrieben, die sehr herzlich sind und viele Geschichten in sehr gebrochenem Deutsch über ihre Zeit in Deutschland erzählen. Unbedingt ein Muss!!!!

Muy buena atención, aún que tiene poca variedad,el pollo(Frango) está muy bueno. Son personas mayores muy agradable . Es bastante más barato que la media de la zona

Simple but great chicken and chips. If you are near by we all strongly recommend chicken George. Great value for money, we would have eaten here more but only found out about it near the end of our holiday.

Restaurante no meio do monte em que só abre as 18 h... Quase sempre vazio. Fui lá buscar uns frangos, e entrei pelas traseiras, onde se encontrava uma simpática senhora a assar dois meios frangos.... Mas caso pretendesse teria que esperar, pois aqueles seriam para uns clientes que estavam numa mesa exterior. Perguntei o preço e por dois frangos pediram 24€!! Achei demasiado... Mas entendo, assam á medida que vai chegando o freguês. Assim não existe desperdício de comida. Achei o local limpo.

Brilliant. Authentic, good people, proper piri piri and a warm Portuguese welcome. Definitely have the peaches and port dessert.

The best place to get chicken and chips (normal and piri piri) and come for a cheap and cheerful meal. Last time we went it was €6.50 for the meal and the same for a bottle of wine. Great value. If you want a quick, relaxed meal or of you have had a hard day at the beach and need to feed the kids, go and see George! P.s. Tell your friends!
