Food was lovely, I had the crispy duck which was cooked perfectly. Most attentive and friendly staff. Seems to cater for large groups very well. Not expensive either.

Excelente atendimento, rapidez na entrega do prato, excelente comida, ambiente limpo e agradável! Os crepes de legumes são um must, estaladiços e sem gordura! Maravilhosos! Cuidado com a Chapa Quente de Gambas à Mongólia, ...para quem gosta de picante, tem aqui um prato à altura, muito bom!

Very average.
After reading the reviews on here I was really excited to try this chinese. After all, it’s my favourite food. I have to say I was very disappointed. It was nothing but average. I don’t where you lot have been eating to say this was excellent but you must be lacking in decent chinese restaurants where you live. The spring rolls were too fatty and hardly and vegetables in them, the rice was weird as though it had been boil in a bag and left on the side for a few hours, the spare ribs were meatless and covered in batter...yuk!
My 5 year old wanted chicken in batter, the batter was there but no chicken inside.. well if there was it was minuscule. It was just rubbish. Nothing else to say. Maybe they were having a bad night? Or maybe the decent chef was off sick?
Anyway, won’t be visiting again.

Die Freundlichkeit aller Servicekräfte ist hervorragend - das Essen selbst ist sehr schmackhaft.
Durchaus eine Alternative zu den typischen Fischrestaurants in Portugal.

The food here is lacking any taste which is an absolute shame as the meat and rice perfectly cooked...i had a pork curry and the sauce was just a very very bland curry powder with no other spices used whatsoever.. my other half had the meat sizzler and again so bland.. we did eat the food after having to add salt and pepper......will not visit again during our stay...I've made a much tastier Chinese meal myself !!!!!

Best Chinese food I have ever had. Perfectly cooked and not greasy. Service was suitable for a 5 star restaurant.
We were stunned when we got the bill! Two main dishes, two extra side dishes and drinks. €24.50!
Would recommend.

First night in Albufeira (2nd trip here) and the husband wanted something different. It was raining so we opted for the lit up, sit down big Chinese place close to the hotel. Few other tables already dining when we arrived....that was a good sign as it was late, it was raining, and a lot of restaurants we're empty when we had walked by earlier in the evening.
Ordered the mushroom & chicken soup, the husband had wonton soup. Both flavorful. Chicken satay (2 pieces) for me. Cooked well, with some type of light, slightly curry tasting sauce. Tasty. Husband had woo-tip dumplings. Said they were different then he is used to but quite good. A nice surprise.
I had curry chicken, that had a nice amount of carrot, onion and mushrooms. Perfect-sized portion and flavorful. He had #59--some type of spicy chicken with cashew (sorry, don't recall name, but the # stuck LOL). He said it wasn't what he expected but it was good.
Overall, best Chinese food we've had in awhile (haven't found a good option in Miami FL yet). Plus staff was friendly and attentive. Left satisfied, warm, and happy.

Me and my husband eat for the first time here and all I can say this place is amazing from the service to the food . We are living in Newcastle in UK and we are eating out a lot this one is the best restaurant . Thank you for amazing experience.

I Love this Chinese Restaurant the Staff are so friendly and helpful and the service is excellent, it's virtually across the road from the Oura Praia Hotel, the menu covers a wide selection of Chinese food that tastes absolutely fantastic from Starters to Desert or maybe just a coffee and a nice hot towel to wipe your hands on after meal with a complimentary shot of Port. Please give this Chinese restaurant a try.

lovely place with a very nice atmosphere. nice and cheap prices, does not seem to be a tourist hungry restaurant so it's very nice. staff are friendly and the drinks are not watered down like some places

Já foi o melhor palco da gastronomia Chinesa representada na cidade de Albufeira. Mas a qualidade revelou
-se efémera. As sucessivas mudanças no que diz respeito à forma como se movimentam as sociedades chinesas nas áreas da restauração, faz com que aquilo que hoje se come em condições, um dia mais tarde ao repetir a experiência "vomita-se". Fraco, muito fraco..

Essen kam sehr schnell und war lecker. Das Personal gibt sich sehr Mühe und ist aufmerksam. Haben zu zweit ein bisschen mehr als 20 Euro für ein Abendessen inkl. Vorspeisen und Getränken ausgegeben. Da kann man wirklich nichts dazu sagen. :)

Restaurante tradicional chino. Fuimos en época baja, casi vacío, y aun así la comida de lo mejor que he probado en un chino, nos atendieron, genial y el precio aceptable, 46 por tres primeros, tres segundos, bebidas y cafes. No hay aparcameinto, pero dejamos el coche cerquita en una zona de restaurantes a 50 metros.

Myself and my mother had the Tofu Casserole and my mother’s partner had the Sizzling Steak. The meals were excellent, everything was cooked wonderfully. All three of us agreed that the Sangria was the best we’ve ever had. The desserts were really tasty, too.
Polite staff, quick service and beautiful decor. Chinese Royal is a wonderful restaurant; I’d recommend it over all the surrounding restaurants and cafés.

Been here before and yet again this year didn't disappoint. Lovely restaurant and great menu choice. And what we love is there is enough to share all the different dishes between each other. Definitely worth a visit if you like Chinese

Came here by accident as was meant to go to Happy House 100yds further up the road for all you can eat buffet but stayed as recent reviews were promising. Staff are friendly and we had the sizzling prawns and duck dishes which were ok but portions must have got small over recent months. The salt n pepper chips were hard and inedible so were sent back. The kids left half of their meals. Bill came to just less than €50 and I left hungry. If folk have rice with their mains then it may be the place for you but next time I’ll head up to the buffet.

O retaurante Chinese Royal está muito bem situado, em Santa Eulália, com uma entrada imponente de estilo chinês, o que lhe confere um vector de publicidade importante.
Tem média dimensão e um pessoal bastante simpático.
A entrada típica, o crepe chinês, estava na perfeição: estaladiço e apenas com legumes. O molho agridoce e o picante são soborosos.
Os pratos escolhidos estavam bem confecionados e com quantidade bastante. O arroz chau-chau tem espaço para melhorar, principalmente pela qualidade do arroz. A quantidade apresentada por dose encontra-se adequada.
Os preços são convidativos e adequam-se ao apresentado.
Recomenda-se.

Comida deliciosa, menu variadíssimo e o staff é uma simpatia.
Mas , acima de tudo, praticam preços normais, NORMAIS! O porque do meu espanto? Bem Albufeira é Albufeira e até a mais pequena e básica tasca faz questão de cobrar couro e cabelo pela comida e bebida. Qual não foi o nosso espanto quando nos deparamos com preços normais de restaurante chinês 6,5 - 7,5 galinha e porco, 7,5 - 8,5 euros pratos de gambas.
As bebidas estavam também dentro da média.
Iremos repetir sempre que formos ao Algarve!

The food was Exactly like home (ireland), which we loved. As always the Chinese provide fast & efficient service. Friendly staff. We had A LOT of food & drinks for less than €34!!!

Lovely food and good value for money but we were a party of 8 and the food came out very slowly and in dribs and drabs. We had to eat it when it arrived in order to eat while it was still hot.

Volgens mij hadden wij menu E besteld en dan krijg je 6 verschillende gerechten. Erg lekker gegeten en de prijs was ook prima. Na het eten krijgen een warm doekje om je handen schoon te maken en bij de rekening een port.

If you are British and never tasted authentic Chinese food you would likely love the food, anyone who has truly eaten Chinese food would be severely disappointed. Service was quick as long as you prompted them, loaded with salt I wouldn't be surprised if the chef was English. The lack of a Chinese menu any authentic dishes and chopsticks make this one to miss!

Minable.....comment dire....je ne comprend pas les avis publiés plus bas, sachant que nous voulions changer un peu de style de resto, mais là on touche des sommets. Nems qui ressemblent à des beignets et Ha Kao pas cuits avec une bouillie infecte en guise de garniture, les plats pas vraiment mieux...des crevettes curry qui ont tout sauf le goût de curry...bref une catastrophe...j ai mangé dans des boui boui du nord Vietnam ( ou pourtant la cuisine est pauvre) ou c était bien meilleur...un conseil fuyez, c est juste un piège à touristes ( anglais apparemment...), et trouvez un meilleur chinois en marchant un peu plus....À bon entendeur...

Erg vriendelijk personeel, eten is vlak van smaak, maar ok.

Er lag een grote dode kakkerlak onder onze tafel. Die hadden we de hele week nog niet gezien in Portugal en die wil je vooral bij een Chinees niet tegenkomen. Ookal weet je dat het waarschijnlijk helemaal niets met de hygiëne te maken heeft.

Nice Chinese restaurant with friendly staff. Food was acceptable and not overly westernised. Decor inside is very nice and they have free WiFi. You also get a free glass of Port at the end of your meal.. Mmm..

If you want great tasting Chinese food, cooked fresh and authentically then this is for you. The interior has some lovely traditional decoration and the staff are polite and friendly. Had no trouble seating a large party and portions were pretty big. There is an extensive wine list and then menu itself is quite large, with a seperate dessert menu with a variety of treats. After dinner we were given a fresh hot towel to clean up, and a small glass of the house wine to try, free of charge.
This restaurant is clean, cosy and very reasonably priced, I would highly recommend this to anyone seeking Chinese food in the area.

On our last holiday to Portugal we liked this place so much we ate here twice. Nice decor, very reasonable prices, good food.
