Excellent food, quality service, and calm and please atmosphere. Steak cooked perfectly, reasonable prices. Great place to enjoy a nice meal and enjoy the nice summer breeze.

Friendly and welcoming, small place, starter was a bit disappointing (garlic prawns) but main course was excellent (mixed kebab). Reasonably priced and good size servings.

A nice little restaurant near the municipal building's in the old part of Albufeira. I had chicken piri piri which was a bit of a let down as i thought it was going to be spicy but it wasn't. My wife had cod in a cream sauce which was very nice. There was a free glass of port to finish. The staff were both very friendly and it was reasonable priced.

Sehr lecker Essen und nette Bedienung. Das sieht man nicht unbedingt auf den ersten Blick. Die Preise sind moderat. Leider geht es im Gastraum etwas eng zu, da zu viele Tische hier stehen. Super ist, dass man in die Küche schauen kann. Da sieht man das alles ordentlich ist.

Fomos, eu e a minha mulher, varias vezes porque gostamos. Agora paramos de ir porque vi que os porções são mais pequenas mas o preço aumentou e não aumentou pouco e por isso eu não gostei disso então parei de ir.

This restaurant was recommended to us and so pleased it was as we went here the last two nights of our stay. Carlos is a lovely guy, great host and the food is delicious with a good choice to suit most people.

The place serves really nice food. The owner is friendly and the wine was good. The only thing to complain about was the overpriced bread and olives. (3.6€ EACH BREAD) Besides that the price-quality range was quite good.

Celebrated my birthday here, friendly, great service and great food, have always had the same on many occasions.

Lo visitamos por la buena valoración que vimos de los clientes. Está situado en pleno centro de albufeira Nada más entrar la sensación no fue la esperada. No me parecía un sitio agradable. Demasiado pequeño. Las mesas pegadas unas a otras. La barra encima de todo. Una sala enana y además sólo había una mesa comiendo. Igualmente ya estando allí decidimos sentarnos. La carta la tienen en varios idiomas y cuenta con otra aparte para bebidas. Pedimos pasta, carne y un entrante. Además del vino de la casa y los postres. Nos tomó nota el cocinero y dueño del restaurante que manejaba muy bien el idioma. Decir de él que tiene un trato cercano y muy amable. La sorpresa fue al llegar los platos. Un elaboración y presentación excelente además del sabor diez. Una atención impecable y un servicio muy amable. Entendimos el por qué de tan buena reputación. A veces no hay que juzgar un bar por su fachada porque don capito tiene mucho que ofrecer. Calidad precio muy buena. Recomendado.

Het eten vond ik hier niet echt geweldig. Maar dat is dan ook mijn persoonlijke ervaring. Ik had de zeebaars besteld maar deze was duidelijk anders bereid dan we elders in Albufeira hebben gegeten. Ik kan me voorstellen dat andere dit mss wel lekker vinden, maar deze dreef bij wijze van spreken in de olie wat de smaak niet ten goede kwam. Ook was een zijde krokant van de kruiden. Toetje (crepe) was het ook niet helemaal. We hadden ervoor gekozen om buiten te zitten, want binnen was het helemaal vol. Maar het was eigenlijk te koud wat ik ook opmerkte aan andere gasten. Nu stond er zo'n mooie terrasverwarmer maar deze stond uit. Beetje jammer. Ik vind dat het personeel zelf moet kunnen inschatten wanneer ze dat ding aan moeten zetten, zoals dat bij veel andere restaurants wel gebeurd. Dit is een persoonlijke ervaring wat wil zeggen dat jij het eten hier misschien wel lekker vind.

Verwachtingen meer dan overtroffen. Heerlijk gegeten en vriendelijke bediening. Foto's zeggen genoeg!

Absolutely fantastic!!! Honestly if you are in the Albufeira district then I highly suggest going to this restaurant. The staff and the owner and incredibly friendly and make it their priority that you are comfortable and are catered to, you are made to feel special. Me and my partner had a garlic bread starter which was lovely. We had a Cataplana to share as our main. The cataplana, pictured, is simply the best meal I've ever eaten. Perfectly seasoned, incredibly tasty and all of the meat and seafood was cooked to perfection. So tasty that me and my partner scraped all the sauce from the bowl. The sangria was also delicious, and had a powerful kick! Absolutely 5 Star Cuisine and Dining

An absolute pleasure to dine here. Carlos is the owner/chef and his passion for serving the best food is second to none. The restaurant is easy to miss but don't leave Albufiera without trying the food here. The food is excellent and the service is very well timed. Everything is fresh and well explained, served piping hot and delicious. Definitely will be coming here again and would recommend to all.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming with lots of natural conversation. Food was great. Very well presented and very tasty. Average cost per person was around €14 with a drink. Would happily eat here again.

Was low season when we visited so like everywhere, was quiet and we almost walked by...so glad we didnt! Food was outstanding, very fresh fish and great pork mains, starters and desserts were great too. Very freindly staff. The owner, Carlos was extremely friendly and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our meal. First class

Siamo stati in questo ristorante due sere, ed entrambe le volte abbiamo mangiato più che bene anche variando tra pesce e carne Vi consiglio di scegliere i piatti del giorno, freschi e contornati da patate e riso per risparmiare un po (il proprietario ci ha spiegato che ogni giorno sceglie 2/3 piatti del menu e li sconta rendendoli piatti del giorno) Abbiamo provato filetto di maiale, baccalà, omelette, zuppe, involtini primavere.. Tutto molto buono e sopra la media portoghese che abbiamo potuto provare in 9 giorni di vacanza. Piatti del giorno proposti a 10/12€.. Quindi ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo!
