Lugar excelente para fazer um peixe na grelha. Natureza muito conservada. O local possui restaurante e um quiosque. Vale a pena passar com a família e amigos.

Riserva naturale, fonte con laghetto artificiale e vari chioschi che fuori alta stagione sono chiusi, zona poco conosciuta ma di grosso impatto visivo.

Visited in March. All closed up except a small kiosk selling ice-cream. Unfortunately there was no water and it needs a lot of clearing of weeds and debris.

It's pretty, but there was barely any water there, so I'd say it's not worth going all the way over there during Winter.

É um lugar incrível para passar um dia em família só não dou 5 estrelas porque o lago de água da nascente pura está com muito lodo mas dá para tomar banho a água é limpa . Visitem é lindo.

A great little spot for a picnic or bbq. Listed as a natural spring but very much a man made canal and channels of murky water. Not a lot of facilities or parking. Good fun though for a quick dip and cool off with the family

A perfect stop if you drive for example from lisbon to Lagos... It's close to the highway, Alte is a super cozy village with the "real" portuguese culture...
The spring is cold, but very refreshing when it's a hot summer day

Absolutely awesome... Great atmosphere and no trouble at all.
There are cafes and bars in the vicinity, and the whole town is also worth exploring.
Would recommend however to bring some water shoes, since you might slip going in or out of the water, and is just more comfortable when standing in the canal.
