I call them few days as someone parking illegally within 5 meters of turning point and block my way !! They don't come to check and told me they are very busy . Some of them even drop the line if you speak English. How it is a tourism friendly country ?? !!

Guardas solicitados para fiscalizar ilegalidades que nao aparecem, chamadas nunca atendidas, nao existe etica nem rigor! e nao vou mais longe no commentario para evitar processos. Fiz este comentário sendo um cidadão lesado direto da nao ação/reaçao da guarda national em varios suspeitos de crime ou ilegalidades que nao foram fiscalizados. Nao é assim que vamos fazer de Portugal um pais melhor!

A group of us had our passports stolen and so came to this police station to report it. It took us 2 hours to get spoken to and then another 5 hours before the report was completed. The only thing exceptional about this place is how slow and lazy the staff are. The officer gave us false information too, stating we'd be able to travel with the report he gave us and a copy of our passports. If you're looking for a police station I'd strongly recommend going elsewhere.

English people who have been in holidays complaint about our police...rubbish....about the lack of language...but in UK is worst...I wonder if English officers can speak Portuguese!!!!..I'm glad and happy about our Portuguese police officers....they are the best....comparing with other countries....they just do their roles...and they tried hard to give a good service to our turism...

This people are so bad that i realy can say the are not police and at all not so helpfull as you would think almost nobody speaks English wen algarve is a tourisme sector and allso wat i couldnt believe the were beating up so much people and laughing about it never and never again i would visite portugal any more and i realy taking my time too write the hole story police in algarve have no respect wen i said and showed them my shield that im allso a officer of the law but this people are abusing the law and and the uniform for power and the realy show that and allso intimidating other tourists on the main strip with there bad eyes towards every body but wen the see a drunk girls the police start too flirt with them thats how i can say and tell that the police her is realy no police but a bunch of low life crooks i have seen it been through it this people are bringin african police tactics too people and that is so corrupt its unbelievable its realy useless too ask there help because the are not willing too help at all the start starring at you with other words wat you want i had too hire and spend money for a lawyer too fix my passpoort because it got stolling from my villa with other things bad bad bad and the locals here in algarve have allso no words for the police and realy nobody can do something because this so called police force takes allso reveng on there own locals wen 90% procent is old people and 10% procent are young from 18 too 35 people dont want too press charges because the say the police her are not too serve the people but the are serving each other and i ask way the are like that many told me people that want too join the police force in algarve get sended away from algarve and the people of the north of portugal the get sended her for police job annd ofcoutse i ask why the say the people of the north dont like the people of the south means people of the algarve and i ask again why it has a long history its so childish that this so called police force is a force of criminals and allso no camera's in the police station why because there would be no proof of nothing wat people dont see the dont know my laywer already said too me that there was 100 cases against almost every gnr department of algarve but the always winn why the court doesnt want too loss more officers her in algarve because the are not much people that want too apply too be officer because of the bad behaviour towards there people there is more hate but genuine hate for the police her then in engeland my advice is watch out for them God bless all.
