Llegar allí, siendo patrimonio, y que no te permitan entrar porque dicen que "tiene exclusividad para una boda?". No sabía que algo que es de la humanidad, fuese exclusivo para una sola persona. Vergonzoso. Tantos km para esto......

Gardens are quite nice but need a lot more care and attention to make it interesting and authentic. We were disappointed and think that it needs investment. Worth a visit if you are holidaying nearby but don't make a long trip to get there.

Local histórico, entrada livre a visitantes, aceitam grupos mediante aviso prévio, almoços, jantares, festas, casamentos, etc. Alojamento e exploração do espaço pelo Grupo Pestana Pousadas. Um local a não perder.

The building and interiors are absolutely stunning but the park itself is a bit small. Still a nice walk with benches to sit on, tangerine trees and fountains to look at.

I loved walking around these gardens when I was in Algarve Portugal. One of the highlights of my trip. There was so much to see, I was there for probably over an hour. The colours and shapes of the architecture were amazing. I told some locals about it and they had never been there, which I couldn't believe. A must see if your in the area!

Visite gratuite de ce très beau jardin atypique dans ce charmant petit village qui est resté authentique. L'entrée se fait par l'hôtel. Très bon accueil

The palace garden (entrance just through the hotel lobby) is always worth a stopover. Here you can stay for 1-2 hours and enjoy the beautiful park.
Once you are in Estoi you should not miss the Roman ruins of Milreu.

Wir durften durch die Hotelanlage gehend, den "Palastgarten" ansehen. Leider war es uns aber nicht möglich, den Garten komplett -aus Zeitgründen- zu inspizieren. Doch das, was wir sahen war sehr beeindruckend. Wir hoffen, zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt uns den Garten auch einmal in seiner ganzen Schönheit ansehen zu dürfen. Besonders faszinierend fanden wir die mit Azelejos "eingefasste" Treppe.

Pertenecen a la posada aunque están abiertos al público. Son unos jardines maravillosos “a la francesa” con preciosas fuentes y grutas. Aunque la mayoría de las plantas no pertenecen a la época del palacio, hay algunos ejemplares de árboles antiguos. Las vistas son alucinantes así como el poder de los montes que le rodean.

Really nice place, with more authenticity than some touristic spots on the coast. There is also a small town center to visit.

Nice garden for a hotel but nothing to go out of your way for during sightseeing. It's pretty much only trees and bushes wit a fountain in the center. However, the view is pretty nice.

Prachtig oud paleis in een verder niet zo bijzonder dorp. Zou niet misstaan in Rome. Echt de moeite van het bezoeken waard!

It’s a pity that instead of being a public cultural space, it is a luxury hotel instead. However, at least one room and the beautiful garden is open to the public. It could be a one if its kind rococo museum...
NOT ACCESSIBLE WITH WHEELCHAIR AND BABY PRAM. (that’s why i give only 3 stars instead of 4)

Se accede a través del hotel que se ha encargado de restaurar el lugar. Los jardines son dignos de admirar, merece muchísimo la pena tanto por el jardín en sí como por las vistas, ya que se encuentra en una zona alta. Encontramos una vegetación cuidada y unas construcciones y esculturas muy bonitas.

Jardín bonito, asociado a la pousada. Para acceder al jardín, hay que pasar por la entrada del hotel en la parte superior.
El jardín tiene terreno y muchas posibilidades todavía por explotar.

Great spot to visit. Then you can go to the pousada for a coffee overlooking the town, Church or cafes. Lovely location all round.
