Food was delicious and ridiculously cheap; It was worth the wait! The manager’s son served us and was very quick with serving the food. He speaks English so was able to explain the menu to us. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

Nouveaux gérants, avant c'était très bon et pas cher, maintenant, il faut attendre de voir ce que ça donne, avec une carte assez proche.

Typical Portuguese bar-restaurant located in the high street 100m from the church square. Choice of wines and meat, fish and poultry dishes as well as desserts.
All freshly prepared and delicious.
We supped two nights in a row and would have been happy to go back a third. Diners can enjoy a good meal with wine for 15 euros a head.
Don't be put off by the appearance. It's the real thing. Manageress can serve you in Portuguese, French and English.

Très bon moment. Nous y sommes allés plusieurs fois tellement nous avons apprécié la propriétaire discrete et qui fait leffort de parler français. Les plats du jour valent le détour. La dorade et la morue sont excellentes et les plats toujours servis généreusement. Les prix sont également très abordables. Beaucoup plus sympas que d'autres resto du coin pour lequel nous n'avons pas laissé d'avis
Convient aux familles (nous avons un p'tit bout de chou de 3 ans).

Waited over 1 hour for starters and then they came to tell us they had no soup. We then got our main meal of strogonoff which consisted of a few pieces of beef and a bit of cream no musharooms.

Visited at lunchtime. Lovely local food and friendly service. Fixed price menu was incredible value for money. Unpretentious, informal local eatery. Would definitely go back.

I went here because of all the good reviews I read but was unfortunately disappointed. My initial excitement was quickly dampened by a brash and rude reception from the hostess. I then waited at least 20 minutes for my order to be taken as others were served. When my food finally arrived it was nothing to write home about... I then had to endure a plane journey home with food poisoning.

É um restaurante a que se vai e que passado umas horas já nem lembramos que lá estivemos.
Comi bem fui bem atendido, mas não há nada nem negativo nem muito positivo. Não é caro.

L’attente en vaut la chandelle ! La cuisson du poisson frais est juste parfaite et la cuisine familiale a l’honneur. Voilà un restaurant qui mérite le détour des amoureux de la cuisine ou le produit est juste valorisé. Simple et efficace. Merci à vous.

5* omdat het zo'n authentieke plek is. Het lokaal, de bediening van die jonge jongen. De heerlijke spaghetti a la vongole. Het home made toetje wat lijkt op tiramisu maar lekkerder is. Eigenlijk wilde ik deze eetgelegenheid voor mijzelf houden maar ik gun het restaurant wat meer klandizie.

The food here is made to order and sublime. The steak Portuguese style is veal, potatoes, ham and a fried egg. Delicious! The clams and spaghetti are flavored with garlic and the freshest most potent parsley I've ever tasted. The side if rice was perfect aldente and scented with bay leaf. It takes a while to have a hot meal made to order so relax with olives bread and wine. Its worth the wait.

Très bon restaurant. Nous y avons mangé deux fois en 3 jours. Ne paie pas de mine mais en vaut la peine.
Avant de réserver pour le premier soir, nous y sommes passé le midi et on nous a demandé ce que l'on voulait manger le soir car cela peut prendre du temps de préparer certains plats.
J'ai mangé du porc aux palourdes, pas exactement de la m^meme façon que carne de porco alentejana, mais tout de même délicieux ! En entrée, des gambas à l'ail délicieuses. Ma femme a pris une darne de saumon, c'était tout aussi bon.
