Minus one star for not telling us they charge for what we thought was the complementary "carrots and olives". Minus one star for forgetting our tapas order. Otherwise, the food was good enough and ambience of the restaurant was nice.

Lovely restaurant, 4 of us ate, the food and desert's were excellent, apart from the tornados steak which was a little tough.

I stayed in Estoi overnight at the Posada down the street from this charming local restaurant. A truly special place that has been designed with care down to the candle holders for tables. Not one detail of the decor has been overlooked to make a welcome atmosphere for the customers. The service is quite wonderful. Attentive but not hovering to get you out. The food and wine was outstanding. Prepared with care and well presented. Delicious. The wine was perfect. All of the staff were simply welcoming and wonderful and we even learned a few Portuguese words taught with good humor. My one regret.....I am only here for a day and I cannot go back tonight. This is the best place I have been in Portugal so far. Thank you for a wonderful evening I will not soon forget!

Hemos pasado varias noches en Estoi y hemos tenido la oportunidad de cenar varias veces en la Galería dos Sentidos. Ambiente muy acogedor y servicio muy cuidado. La carne exquisita, y el pescado también. Por cambiar, probamos también las hamburguesas... también muy buenas. Perfecto para una velada en pareja y para disfrutar de los vinos de Alentejo. Precio muy razonable. Entre semana no hace falta reservar, pero el fin de semana es imprescindible una reserva. La cocina la cierran a las 22:00.

We visited this restaurant on our first night...and every night after that! The service is fantastic and the food is glorious. The octopus, duck and quail are define. The quinoa and chicken are good too. The beer will be served in chilled glasses too! Can't recommend highly enough.

Leuk restaurant op 2 minuten lopen van de pousada. We zijn hier gaan eten omdat het restaurant van de pousada zeer slecht was. Hele vriendelijke, vlotte bediening, lekker eten en goede wijn. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding erg goed. Wij hebben twee avonden heerlijk gegeten. Reserveren is aan te raden omdat veel pousada gasten dit restaurant bezoeken.

Restaurante com mau serviço e um chefe intratável. Recusou servir-nos (eu e a minha mãe) tendo 3 mesas vazias e eram quase 21h. Após insistência, pedimos para falar com o chefe e ele não veio falar connosco. Ele mandou recado pelo funcionário a informar que estaríamos 40/50 minutos à espera. Foi a primeira vez que recusaram servir-me em qualquer sítio do mundo. Tinha que ser logo no meu país...

Leider diesmal nur einen Stern.... wir kamen dieses Jahr wieder hierher, da das Essen und Ambiente beim letzten Mal hervorragend war. Leider hat man es diesmal mit Duftkerzen und Räucherstäbchen an allen Ecken und Enden sehr übertrieben, sodass wir ständig einen beißenden Geruch in der Nase hatten. Unseren Wunsch nach etwas Frischluft konnte oder wollte der Kellner nicht nachkommen, sodass wir das Lokal dann wieder verlassen haben. Schade, wir hätten sehr gerne das Essen probiert. Vielleicht besinnt sich der Inhaber dieses Restaurants ja noch, und vermeidet den sehr unangenehmen Geruch der Duftstäbchen......dann können wir uns auch wieder auf das Wesentliche (Essen/Getränke) konzentrieren.

Salle agréable et service qui se veut "raffinée". Le menu découverte 7 plats est excellent, surtout le dessert maison (mousse de mangue). La morue cuite à point accompagnée de ses petits légumes et purée de pois chiche etait aussi très bonne. Prix raisonnable pour le cadre.

Excelente restaurante. Apenas comemos as tapas, mas estavam maravilhosas. A melhor salada de polvo que ja comi, explorando varios tipos de vegetais que combinaram magnificamente. O ceviche de camarao igualmente magnifico. A pannacota de figo é simplesmente maravilhosa, cremosa e bem acompanhada da compota e das uvas. Atencao ao pormenor, bom empratamento e servico a mesa eficaz e profissional. Parabens e continuem o excelente servico.

Boa opção de pratos. Atendimento cuidado e comida bem confecionada sem deslumbrar.

Rien d'exceptionnel pour ce restaurant qui se veut trop prétentieux quant au menu proposé. N'a de pseudo cuisine tendance que les prix exorbitants pratiqués pour des touristes pris dans la nasse une seule fois. Je ne mets pas moins que 3 étoiles car il y a du travail quand même. Mais revenez à du classique c'est ce qu'on cherche en venant visiter un pays.

Accueil super. Personnels parlant français et très souriant ! Plats très bon, juste les cuissons qui n'étaient pas comme nous le voulions.. mais habitude française et portugaise différente en terme de cuisine. Prix très raisonnable!

Very good food and service, as were from paris it’s really cheap for what we got. They speak fluently English and listen to your desires. The bread/tuna mousse given after you just ordered is not offered, you’ll pay 4,5€ for each. I truly recommend the octopus as starter and the lamb for the main meal (which was generous! Share starters if you’re not too hungry)

Food came out late. No apology given. Average food at best. Best avoid and hit up the local McDonald's

Para todos aquellos que esten en Faro, si os gusta la gastronomia de la tierra simple pero excepcional, popular pero con magia a precio "normal" pues en el pueblo de Estoi(20 minutos del aeropuerto de Faro). Podreis encontrar el gusto a lo q verdaderamente buscais en un viaje...simpatia, dulcura y cslidad bsda q enviadiar a TOPchef...bravo!

***** This is a very nice restaurant that serves something different than the usual grilled fish or chicken with potato’s. The dishes are quite fancy but the prices are very resonable. We payed 50 euro’s for a 2 persons dinner with starters, main course, desert and a bottle of wine. Everyting was very tasty, especially the octopus was cooked to perfection. It's best to make a reservation as it fills up quickly with guests from the surounding hotels.

Excellent food; the best restaurant we visited during our 10 day trip in Portugal. The restaurant was fully booked and we had to wait almost an hour although it was just a Wednesday evening in April. It was worth the waiting, but I suggest one better makes a reservation.

Wunderbares Restaurant! Sehr freundlicher Service (englisch, französisch), Extrawünsche wurden alle erfüllt. Großer Salat mit superfrischen Zutaten, sehr geschmackvoll. Frisches Brot, leckerer Hauswein. Angenehme und lockere Atmosphäre, leise Musik, gemütliches Ambiente wie in einem Weinkeller. Wir hatten alles aus der Vorspeisenliste und noch mehr (all you can eat) für 15 € (ohne Getränke) und alles war hervorragend wie im Sternerestaurant. Wirklich erstaunlich gut. Een soort overloop restaurant voor mensen die de Pousada te duur vinden of iets anders willen. Aardige eigenaresse die uitgebreid advies geeft vooral over wijnen. Eten oké.

Um restaurante calmo cômodo e comida agradavel varias escolhas

7:30でほぼ満席だったので、予約した方がいいかと.味は久し振りに完食できたほど美味しかったです.塩気の多いレストランが多いのですが、ここは素材の味を楽しめました.

Simple and delicious dinner in an old stable with a high, vaulted ceiling. Main courses were very tasty; one of us had chicken and the other steak. The almond roll was a delicious pudding, especially when followed by an almond liquor. The red house wine was good and reasonably priced.
