The hot drinks here were amazing and the sweet treats were really great too. Service was also great and staff were friendly. The outdoor seating area is really nice, we didn't have much time but really wanted to fit this cafe in and so glad we did. Highly recommend if you're in Tavira to come here for a coffee and something sweet.

É na tal de cinco estrelas , menos o sensor de controle das luzes das casas de banho , já reclamei várias vezes mas o problema não se resolve nunca , 10 segundos de iluminação numa casa de banho nunca será suficiente , o proprietário devia ser obrigado a utilizar as instalações nesse tempo.

Nice place. Ticks most of the plus points : central location in Tavira, great terrasse with lots of sun and views, just near the river and bridge, good pastry and coffee, friendly personal.
Not the fastest service though, but hey, this is Portugal, more specifically Algarve. Not New York. So enjoy your time as you might have to be a bit patient, but nothing exceptional compared to other places in Algarve.

Terrasse sur la place de la mairie tres agréable. Les plats dont bons. Le personnel est sympa et parlent français ou anglais, ça aide.. De très bonnes glaces.. Je recommande

Vroeger een prachtige zaak met veel lekkers. Nu alleen ijs en soort slijterij. Lang op terras wachten, uiteindelijk opgestapt en weggegaan. Ijs belachelijk duur, ongezellig terras met weinig klandizie.

Our café was not served even after 15 minutes of waiting, then we left...terrible service. Rather avoid this place, there are plenty other nice café places around.

The food is good but the service horrible. The waitress is slow, doesn't really pay attention and the guests are waiting way too long.
And all this off-season.

Süßes zentral gelegenes Café in Tavira. Wir wollten nach dem Sightseeing etwas entspannen und haben uns draußen einen Tisch geschnappt. Es wurde recht schnell voll und so saßen wir zwischen Einheimischen und Touristen. Die Kellner waren sehr freundlich und der Latte Macchiato lecker. Für 2,50€ kann man nicht meckern. Außerdem sahen die Süßspeisen und das Eis sehr gut aus!

Good food. Coffee was ok. It's a little slow when busy. Service mixed.
The table staff were working hard with a full house, were courteous and attentive. The staff behind the bar on the other hand spent most of their time arguing, ignoring customers, getting orders wrong and speaking gruffly.
Paying 2.50 for a cappuccino, it should be very good (it wasn't). 90c for their ok espresso is fine.
I get the feeling we caught them on a bad day.

No centro de Tavira. Atendimento óptimo e amigável. Tem durante a semana menu de almoço a preço muito acessível e de boa qualidade. As opções de pastelaria são muito boas, em especial o D. Rodrigo (doce tradicional do Algarve).

Pastelería muy bien ubicado
Tiene muy buen café y por supuesto bien servido, aunque un poco lentos además probar la tostada de la casa, rebanada de pan tostado con queso y jamón con un toque de mantequilla.

Ein sehr netter Ort um zu frühstücken. Wir wohnten in der Pension 2 Stockwerke über dem Café und gingen jeden Tag zum Frühstück dort hin. Es gibt auch über den Tag Snacks und richtige Speisen. Die Hamburger sind lecker. Und die Crêpe mit Eis auch. Nette Bedienung. Gute Preise. Alles in allem ein top Café.

J'ai adoré les glaces, surtout la glace spécialité d'algavre (orange, amande, pistache), et la glace sabon à l'amande, et celle à l'amande. Le cornet est excellent, cela fait longtemps que je n'en ai pas mangé d'aussi bon. Le prix est raisonnable. A tester absolument.

No dia 19 de Junho de 2019 estivemos a tomar um café e a minha mulher pediu um sumo de laranja natural. Apercebi-me que o aparelho de fazer os sumos já estava limpo. O empregado trouxe o café e o sumo de laranja que em vez de ser natural era uma mistura de água com sumo de tudo menos laranja. No final fiz o reparo ao funcionário. Este dirigiu-se ao interior da confeitaria e respondeu-me que sim, que era sumo natural. Disse-lhe que duvidava pois nem sequer havia vestígios das partículas que compõem os gomos da laranja. Não pedi o Livro de Reclamações. Fiz mal! Mas de certeza que nunca mais lá iremos.

There is a fair bit of options to choose from but we went with something which looked like an almond cookie. Was tasty just maybe a bit sweet for my tooth (However I am not a big fan of sugar so..). Usually would go for a pastel de nata, however the pastry looked too thick in here so passed on it this time. The service was nice and the location couldnt be any better, there are places to sit outside and its also facing a large square, very spacious and nice.

Wir tranken dort ein Bier und wollen anschließend das WC aufsuchen. Das wäre aber nur möglich, wenn wir erneut etwas bestellen würden, sagte man uns. Ein unmögliches Verhalten der Geschäftsleitung.

J'y ai simplement mangé une gaufre, elle était bonne, en tout cas elle n'était pas surgelée. Le cadre est agréable et tranquille. Ce n'est pas très cher.
