Sitio estupendo para escaparte con la familia, en tu casita individual, con,su césped, con tu mascota, barbacoa, piscina, playita al lado. Una gran experiencia,cuando fui yo....en Junio, tiene pinta de ponerse hasta arriba en meses de verano y afecte seguramente al experiencia. Visitar los pueblos de al lado merece la pena. Y la experiencia gastronómica en la. Zona ES-PEC -TA-CU-LAR... en Junio

Restaurant not open in the evening. Had two nests, one at the front door and the other on the terrace. There was bird shit all over the place and even though cleaners were in 5 days out of 7 the mess was never cleaned up.The outside of the apartments needed some TLC regarding painting. Saying that the staff were wonderful and would consider going back as long as the outside sitting areas in the apartment are cleaned regularly.

Me ha encantado , cogimos una villa para 6 personas, con dos dormitorios y en salón dos sofás que hacían la vez de camas. Los colchones muy cómodo.
Todo muy acogedor. Te dan unas tarjetas para poder cruzar en barco a la playa, tantas veces co.o quieras de forma gratuita. Y el domingo aunque hici.os el check out a la hora indicada, 11h, permiten quedarte con las tarjetas para la piscina o el barco. Fueron muy amables. Hay restaurante, tienda de regalos, estanco y supermercado dentro del complejo.

Sobib nii paaridele, peredele, sõpruskondadele kui ka suurematele gruppidele. Hea autoga reisijatele. Hästi suur bassein, kohvik, baar, supermarket, pangaautomaadid. Hommikusöögi laud vöiks rikkalikum olla, samas igas majas on oma köök ja söögituba. Vanalinn jalutuse kaugusel. Soovitan.

No meio da natureza, com espaços dedicados a todas as idades, nomeadamente desporto e crianças. Excelente para famílias. Permite ir a pé a todo o lado, por estar perto da ria e com vantagem de se poder ir de barco para a praia. O atendimento é igualmente muito bom. Vale a pena experimentar!

Excelente relação qualidade/preço em princípios de Maio (T0 por 42€/noite). Na Receção, o acolhimento é muitíssimo simpático e profissional. O apartamento, muito agradável, estava impecavelmente limpo e arrumado. A "kitchenette" nem equipada com frigorífico, exaustor, placa, micro-ondas, chaleira elétrica e torradeira.
O preço da diária inclui travessia de barco para a praia e limpeza do apartamento cinco dias por semana.
A estrela que falta refere-se ao estado dos equipamentos de frio (ar condicionado e frigorífico) que competiam entre si numa barulheira que tornava muito difícil conciliar o sono. Mas aguenta-se, com tampões de silicone nos ouvidos.

The place is rather run down (need painting, new towels etc) but maybe one should not have high expectations given the price range... However, given the overall rating that was featured on your sight, it was disappointing...... hence had higher hopes which the facilities did not live up to. It is the pet friendliness which is not easy to find that made us choose the place, - and it is pet friendly

First of all, the stuff deserves 6 stars! They were very helpful, friendly, flexible, and fluent in English.
If we would have visited in the summer, this would have been a clear 5/5 resort. But as we spent the new years eve there, I give 4 for the somewhat colder nights and the quite limited amount of warm water for showering.
But the resort is stunningly beautiful, full with the characteristic little white houses, palms, flowers, fantastic grass to play on etc. It was simply a great thing to get up in the morning and walk around.
Full Englisch breakfast costed (2018) 10,5€ which is a bit expensive compared to the 6€ on the see side restaurant prices, but it is nearer so maybe better for some. Also the resort has a nice little supermarket (open every day) so one can also self-organize the breakfast easily.
I can recommend this place, I would go back without much hesitation!

Good basic accommodation. Nice pool area. Nice bar. Decent food. Good location with access to most tourist requirements at a reasonable price. For long stays or for the budget conscious, Pedras da Rainha is pretty good value.

We stayed for 4 nights over the new year, the complex was quite well kept (a little run down in certain areas, mostly painting needed which was being attended to). The staff were amazing and helpful.food very good and facilities like tennis and padel on site along with a bowling green.loved it here and will come back.

Beautifull, well designed apartments where you can feel relaxed and like at home. Tasteful selection of accomodation and great smell of freshness. The aroma will stay with you for hours keeping you in a good mood. Attentive, professional and helpful staff. I highly recommend you visit this place. The Apartments was surprisingly nicely fitted and well kept. The complex as such could benefit from some outside maintenance, but not such that it created any problems at least. The reception open 24/7 as well as a nice coffee shop for breakfast makes life say whether you want to make your own meals or not. A positive surprise also that the apartments are serviced every day (I believe). Walking distance to the beach area that has plenty of restaurants and even a supermarket almost adjacent to the resort.

Holiday accommodation in Cabanas Portugal. Stayed in a studio. Very clean and well equipped. Also viewed 1 and 2 bedroom villas for future use. All staff from reception, restaurant, activities areas all very helpful. Can't wait to go back.

Sou proprietária de um T1 ha quase 20 anos. Acho que foi feito um esforço grande na manutenção dos espaços públicos. O supermercado é razoável e está mais barato do que já esteve e é bom comprar os jornais antes do pequeno almoço. O bar de apoio á piscina é péssimo, ja há alguns anos: mau atendimento, gente antipática e o serviço muito lento...a equipa de animação era melhor que não existisse...

Mooi huisje, de bedden zijn erg slecht en lijken een beetje op een trampoline waar je op ligt. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk. De wifi is alleen bij de receptie en bij de bar maar is wel goed. 2 minuten lopen van het dorpje af. De schoonmakers komen elke dag langs. Het ijs is niet duur.

Aldeamento turístico extremamente agradável, muito animado e procurado por turistas ingleses. Possui piscina, um bar/restaurante, uma papelaria e um supermercado dentro do próprio aldeamento. Ainda fica um pouco longe da praia no caso de se ir a pé, sendo que a praia mais próxima seria a de Cabanas (para a qual se tem de atravessar a ria de barco).

Me and my partner spent 5 nights in kne of the apartments it was nice and tidy but not luxurious if you looking for that. It has pool, bar restaraunt, cigaret machine, cash mashine, parking, shop, basicaly all you need. They also gave us a card so we could get the train and the boat to cabanas beach for free. Also the domestic ladys go tidy the bed and room everyday. The only thing was having children playing football and shouting for hours in the grass in front of our apartment wich was a bit anoying listening to all the screaming and shouting but the rest was all good.

Péssimo !!! Venho há anos para as Pedras da Rainha para umas férias calmas em ambiente tranquilo. Este ano inexplicavelmente,, transformou-se num pesadelo: animação na piscina (Porquê ?? Não tem dimensão!!!), música alta (e de má qualidade (Apita o comboio! O bicho !...) Zona da relva transformou-se em zona de piqueniques... garrafas e latas de cerveja espalhadas.... Cães à solta na borda de água .. Enfim, ao fim de mais de 10 anos... para o ano se calhar terei de encontrar um novo refúgio de férias... Tornou-se num arraial de mau gosto ..

Lugar muy tranquilo a pesar de la habitual elevada ocupacion. Algunas casas/apartamentos reformadas y otras que necesitan reformarse, pero todas muy cómodas para pasar unos dias agradables. Extensas praderas de cesped y muy arbolado. Piscina y otras instalaciones deportivas. Cuenta con supermercado, lavanderia, restaurante y tienda de regalos. Ponen un trenecito y barca para trasladarte a la playa. Personal de recepcion y de limpieza muy amables y serviciales, siempre dispuestos a atender tus necesidades. A un minuto del pueblo. Lo unico malo es que no hay WiFi en los apartamentos.

Een enorm groot park met veel verschillende soorten bungalows en kwaliteitsmogelijkheden tot verblijf is dit.
Het is wel hier en daar behoorlijk gedateerd maar de ruime opzet vergoedt veel.
Een beetje geluk met de plaatsing moet je echter ook hebben: wij kwamen aan de straatkant in een hartstikke leuk pittoresk appartementje maar het weekend brak aan en een stokoud Portugees stelletje had het aangrenzende appartement klaarblijkelijk gekocht en een constant blaffende hond meegenomen, weg vakantiegevoel.
Het gebeurde ons daar al een keer eerder: midden op het terrein aan de zuidkant van het park staat een grote vrijstaande bungalow waar een Portugese man gewoon ´s avonds vertrekt naar elders maar zijn hond wél buiten in de afgesloten tuin vrij laat rondlopen. Een hond die vervolgens álle huisjes eromheen ´beblaft´, de hele avond door ... hoe asociaal kan iemand toch zijn, ik heb er nauwelijks woorden voor. Verschillende keren zijn we daarom dan ook naar de receptie geweest en wij zijn zeker geen ´zeurders´, absoluut geen moeilijke gasten,, nooit geweest ook, toch kregen we geen enkele voet aan de grond aldaar en we hebben dus in onze vakantie twee volle weken geblaf moeten doorstaan ...
Ook lopen er nog wel eens ´vage types´ rond de huisjes, het park is zo groot en ´open´ dat de bewaking van slechts één persoon daar absoluut niet tegen opgewassen is. Enige bijzonder goedkoop ogende kleine appartementjes aan de absolute zuidkant van het complex vormen waarschijnlijk de oorzaak van dat probleem.
Men heeft de foute keuze gemaakt om luxe en armetierig te vermengen door objecten te gaan ´verkopen´ c.q het bestand aan woningen langzaam over te dragen aan particulieren. Dit heeft een direct negatief effect op het vakantieplezier van de toerist, hij krijgt te maken met het territoriale gedrag (dicht getimmerde tuinen) van de zich afsluitende vaste (vaak Zuid Europese) bewoners. De receptie staat waarschijnlijk daarom machteloos om dat gedrag aan te pakken, van goede wil zijn ze er zeker wel. Ik acht de receptie zelfs wel als het beste onderdeel van het hele park, jammer maar waar, het was beter andersom geweest.

Great resort as a home base for further exploration. Nice cheap small room for 2 with plenty of parking. Staff all friendly and a pool on site if you fancy a day basking in the sun. Spain is less than a hours drive away if you fancy a day in Spain also. Amazing food available down on the coastline also. Would recommend.

Reception staff where very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy with enough utensils and cutlery to be able to cook meals if required. We ate out. Very good location with just a short walk to the front for shops and restaurants. The grounds are kept very clean and tidy, lots of parking.We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Schöne Anlage in absoluter Toplage. Die Wohnung ( für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) war gut ausgestattet. Eine Selbstversorgung,durch die naheliegenden Sipermärkte, war ideal.Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt. Schöner großer Pool. Die Bar war im Verhältnis zu anderen Lokalitäten etwas überteuert. Das Personal ist bis auf wenige Ausnahmen super freundlich. WLAN in der Rezeption und in der Bar gratis. Kostenlose Beförderung (mit Booten) zum traumhaften Strand. Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder!

Quem está alojado no aldeamento tem direito a passagem de barco gratuita para a praia de cabanas.

We came here on a Bowls Tour for the first time. The rooms were generous and mostly could sleep 4. Kitchen and patio area was par for the rooms. Clean and well kept resort with pool, tennis, volleyball and the bars and restaurants were good.

We’ve just come back from 10 days staying at the Pedras da Rainha, and I have to say this is definitely one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Absolutely loved it there. We had an upstairs apartment, which was plenty big enough for the 2 of us – a lovely little balcony, a small but well-equipped kitchenette area (which my wife made great use of cooking all the Algarvian delights we found in the local shops), and a nice shower room with modern fittings. The bed was a little hard, but nothing you couldn’t get used to, and my only minor gripe would be the lack of power-points next to the bed (there was one behind it, but you couldn’t use it as the bed was in the way) – but we made do with the others in the room, so no real hardship.
There were also 2 bunk beds, so the room could have accommodated 4.
The room was clean, and the towels were changed fairly regularly, so no real issues there either. In fact, the whole resort area was kept very clean and well maintained.
The outside areas are also stunning, with flowering trees and well manicured lawns, it really is a beautiful and relaxing place to be. Many of the apartments seem to be either privately owned or on a long-term lease, and you can easily understand why people would want to come back regularly and stay long term here.
The pool / dining / public areas were also very clean and well maintained - the pool was a little cold, but it was October after all.
We were staying on a B&B basis, so took advantage of the ample breakfasts every day. Breakfast is a self service buffet and, unless you’re very late, there’s always plenty of it. Pretty much the same every day – bacon, sausage, eggs, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, and a selection of fruits, yoghurts, cakes and cereals, but that was really all you would need, and it was always very tasty and well presented. The staff were also always very friendly and efficient.
The resort is perfectly placed in Cabanas village, mid way between the coast and the railway station, so perfect if you want to spend the day on the beach, or take a train to explore the region – you can get a train to Faro, or to Vila Real de Santo Antonio where you can get the ferry across the river to Ayamonte in Spain (amazing how different it feels just over the river). We also checked out the Saturday market in Olhao which I would definitely recommend if you’re able to get there.
Although the resort has a shop on-site, we did most of our shopping at the Spar shop just outside the south gate – which is well stocked and has pretty much anything you would need at a reasonable price.
There is a mini road-train from the hotel to the pier where they also have a ferry across to Cabanas beach, although we always walked to the ferry as it isn’t very far, and this meant we could pick up an ice-cream on the way and/or the way back. The beach is just a short boat trip across the river, and is one of the best beaches around – miles of lovely soft clean sand and, although it was October, the sea wasn’t too cold to swim in. You can also walk along the beach and cross to Cacela Velha at low tide, which is worth doing.
Overall, this is a fantastic resort in a beautiful place, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Large very spacious well set out resort. Very friendly staff. All the type of amenities you would expect to have are provided. There is a pool, bar, restaurant, tennis courts, bowls green and on certain days live entertainment. Depending on what you want you can go self accommodating, half board or go full board. We was on a Bowls Tour and went half board which I would recommend. There are plenty of very good restaurants nearby and the food is top notch. The weather when we was their was permanently hot and sunny, no rain whatsoever.

Wir waren nun zum zweiten Mal in dieser Anlage. Vom Prinzip her ist es in Ordnung. Man hat ein kleines Häuschen, auf dem Gelände gibt es einen Pool, einen Supermarkt usw. Was uns beim ersten Besuch nur wenig gestört hat, war dieses Jahr nerviger.
Positiv:
Alle sind äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es gibt einen Zug zum Strand sowie ein Boot, dass einen übersetzt über die Lagune. Das alles ist kostenfrei nutzbar. Der Pool ist schön, das Gelände gepflegt, der Supermarkt gut ausgestattet.
Negativ:
Das Frühstück ist leider wirklich nichts für Urlauber, die einfach mal nichts tun wollen. Es gibt zu wenig Auswahl und es schmeckt nur bedingt. Absoluter Kritikpunkt.
Zudem muss man sagen, dass das Gelände viele Grünflächen und Bäume hat und es somit viele Insekten gibt. Wir hatten eine regelrechte Ameisenplage, das war sehr unschön und auf die Bitte hin, dass dagegen etwas getan wird, sicherte man uns zu, dass jemand kommen würde, doch leider geschah das nicht.
Für relativ anspruchslose Urlauber, die gerne eine Ferienwohnung in Portugal nehmen möchten, bestens geeignet, für Urlauber, die sich einen Hotelaufenthalt versprechen - ungeeignet.

- cicha okolica i osiedle domków
- korty tenisowe, boisko do siatkówki (trzeba się nastawić na grę przy zachodzie słońca - w innym przypadku jest za gorąco i zbyt słonecznie)
- niezwykle zadbana roślinność i trawa
- duży basen
- śmieszny w stylu dziecięcego pociąg prowadzący do trasy łódka nad ocean - wszystko za darmo dla gości hotelowych
- możliwość zjedzenia tostów i fast foodów
- świetna lokalizacja, blisko do promenady
- raz trafiliśmy na koncert chyba muzyki fado na terenie ośrodka
Z minusów:
- Brak leżaków po godzinie 11stej, czasem po 15stej można było dwa leżaki wolne znaleźć
- "Animacje" to dwa razy w tygodniu godzinne zajęcia w wodzie typowe dla starszych ludzi
- Ograniczone jedzenie do fast foodów i tostów
- Bar działa jak chce, niby miał być do 22giej ale pierwszego dnia przylecieliśmy około 21 i bar był zamknięty.
- brak ściereczek, gąbki do mycia naczyń i płynu do mycia naczyń - musieliśmy kupić we własnym zakresie
- codziennie zmieniane ręczniki ale niestety pokój nie był sprzątany (raz była wytarta podłoga w łazience)
- pokoje bardzo stare, wymagają remontu i koniecznie wymiany mebli kuchennych

Bardzo przyjemny ośrodek dla ludzi szukających zwłaszcza spokoju. Parterowe i 1-pietrowe domki rozsiane po ogromnym terenie, pełno dobrze utrzymanej zieleni, kwiatów. Same pokoje szału nie robią ale jest ok, dość czysto. Na terenie również sporo atrakcji: korty tenisowe, spory basen, boisko do siatkówki, plac zabaw itp. W sezonie po ok. 11 ciężko o wolny leżak przy basenie ale obok duży przyjemny trawnik na którym także można przyjemnie poleżeć. Lokalizacja super, 200-300m od morza, 3 minuty spaceru od głównego deptaka. Obsługa miła i pomocna, mówią w różnych językach (na pewno oprócz portugalskiego słyszałem angielski, francuski i hiszpański). Przed ośrodkiem przystanek autobusowy, niedaleko stacja kolejowa także łatwo dojechać także do okolicznych miejscowości.

para o muito positivo já dei a minha opinião e de 5 estrelas.
Negativo, os preços muito, muito, muito exagerados praticados no bar da piscina, sem que tenha serviço e qualidade que justifique. A rever esta situação, pois numa piscina com bastante gente é estranho que exista um bar sempre vazio.
Na minha opinião além dos preços a roçar o roub..., o serviço tem de melhorar muito, olhem para a simpatia do staff da recepção mesmo ao lado e aprendam alguma coisa.
Será que quem explora o bar não quer clientes no bar ??

Simpático, preços acessiveis e apartamentos (independentes), acolhedores.
Arruma o automovel e não mexe mais nele até ao fim das férias.
Tem um trem para o levar e trazer da praia e um barco privativo para o levar e trazer da ilha.
Tudo é bom. Só falta mesmo, mesmo...é estar de férias.

Un trenecito cortesía del alojamiento te lleva en 4 minutos hasta la ría de formosa para cruzar después a la playa en un barquito, en 1 minuto ( también gratis). Talvez o melhor hotel do Algarve, as casas disponíveis para aluguer estão em muito boas condições, cada casa têm um quarto com duas camas (que juntas formam uma cama de casal), também têm uma sala com dois sofás-cama, também têm uma pequena cozinha e uma varanda. O hotel também têm um super-mercado, campo de volley, campo de bowling na relva, piscina exterior, restaurante e bar com Wifi gratuito. O hotel fica perto da praia e têm um comboio que leva as pessoas para a praia. Apenas acho que as filas para a paria podiam ser um pouco mais organizadas, pois sempre que tentamos ir para a paria ou ir embora para a praia em época alta, existem muitas filas de hoteis diferentes juntas numa só, é uma grande confusão, alêm disso, muitas destas pessoas que estão nas filas são muito mal educadas. Sem ser isto, acho que é um hotel muito bom.
Perhaps the best hotel in the Algarve, the houses available for rent are in very good condition, each house have a bedroom with two beds (which together form a double bed), also have a living room with two sofa beds, also have a small kitchen and a balcony. The hotel also has a super market, volley field, lawn bowling, outdoor pool, restaurant and bar with free Wifi. The hotel is close to the beach and they have a train that takes people to the beach. I just think the queues for the pariah could be a bit more organized, because whenever we try to go to the pariah or go to the beach in high season, there are many queues of different hotels together in one, it's a big mess, besides that , many of these people in the queues are very rude. Without being this, I think it is a very good hotel.

Curiosamente pouco mudou.
Dispõe de uma boa piscina (com piscina para crianças), um excelente supermercado com gente muito simpatica e um pequeno comboio para a praia.
Infelizmente os apartamentos refletem já a idade avançada que têm e muita falta de manutenção.
A limpeza ao apartamento nem sempre é muito eficaz.
O valor para Julho é de 115€/noite para um T0.
Se vierem, tragam a caixa da ferramenta.

Sehr gepflegte Anlage, die Studios sind klein, aber gut ausgestattet. Sauber ist es auch. Der Service an der Rezeption ist einer der freundlichsten, die ich je erlebt habe. Die Einrichtung ist nicht mehr ganz neu, sieht aber keineswegs gammelig aus. Klimaanlage und sonnengeschützte Terasse machen das Verweilen bei allen Temperaturen erträglich. Ein kleiner Mangel wurde umgehend behoben, auch wenn ich sagte, dass es wirklich nicht eile. Pool prima für Kinder, Tennis, Boule und Beachvolleyballplatz vorhanden und in gutem Zustand. Über das Retaurant kann ich nichts sagen, da sich der Ort mit seiner Markthalle perfekt für Selbstversorger eignet. Auf der Anlage gibt es darüber hinaus Geldautomaten, einen Waschsalon, einen Supermarkt und einen Krimskramsladen für den Bedarf des Strandbesuchs. Für den Preis (950 € für 8 Tage inklusive Flug von Berlin mit Lufthansa für 2 Personen) ist es rundum empfehlenswert.

information on arrival could be better ,the room is ok but the lay out isn't so good poor kitchen with difficult to use appliances no instructions .you have an ironing board but have to borrow an iron from reception and return after use you also have to borrow a hairdryer from reception , safety deposit boxes are in reception no safe in room .If you wanted to watch television whilst getting ready to go out. good luck with the majority of the channels being in German and only al Jazeera and sky international news in English if you want Wi-Fi in your room you also have to get a router from reception not great .staff on reception are always really pleasant but this could be so much better with just a couple of touches . the restaurants in Cabanas are very varied and laid back not trying to pull you in there are a few islands reached by small boats only a couple of minutes away , the beaches are amazing especially on tavira island not as commercial as other places but well worth a visit .

Ze luisteren niet naar onze klachten met veel regen stroomden het regen water ons huisje in de leiding haalde hun schouders op wat maakt ons dat uit ,
De directeur loopt iets krom omdat hij constant zijn schouders ophaalt .

Hele slechte ervaring zonde van ons geld mijn man is ziek geworden van de van de vochtige klimaat in het huisje Jammer en nog eens jammer dat we zo zijn behandeld ze moeten zich schamen die Portugezen van pedras da rainha ik schrijf het niet met een hoofdletter dat hebben ze niet verdient

Local calmo e tranquilo, com muito espaço verde. Tem uma piscina grande, uma papelaria, café e uma mercearia.
Situado em cabanas, com acesso à praia de barco com os passes do Aldeamento Pedras da Rainha. Resumindo, bom para umas boas férias em família com preços acessíveis. Recomendo os restaurantes locais Noelia e o Ideal.

Tourist complex with some permanent residents. Mixture of one bed studios, 2 & 3 bed bungalows and some villas. On site reception area, laundrette, swimming pool, restaurant & bar supermarket, tennis courts and private membership bowling green which open to holidaymakers providing they have lawn green bowling experience. Bowls available for hire. White clothing and flat shoes essential. During summer season, it is also departure point for the local tourist train. It is 10 minutes walk from coastal boardwalk, shops, cafes, hotel and numerous restaurants

Nicely laid out mature complex with individually designed villas and bungalows. Lots of green spaces and well maintained. Facilities include an on-site supermarket, business centre, laundry, newsagent and tobacconist. Bus stop outside and railway station nearby. Ideally situated for beaches and touring.

We were staying in one of the more recently done out studio apartments which had excellent cooking facilities, good comfy bed and a little balcony which was had nice views of the grounds. Location was excellent as it was quiet at night but close to shops, restaurants, railway station and the nature reserve.

This is a holiday resort with little bungalows in a nice park land environment, pool, tennis and bowling facilities. Offers a restaurant, bar, and other facilities. Great value for the price! Nearby Benamor Golf course, at walking distance. Friendly staff!

Have driven past the Pedras da Rainha resort on several occasions when we have been to Cabanas but had never been inside.
In September we stayed for 14 days and were pleasantly surprised. The resort we understand was originally built by Club Meditranee and is a low density development with shaded walkways making it a green oasis.
Our two bedroomed villa was on one floor, but had a roof terrace with a large private garden surrounding it.
The kitchen had been recently upgraded and contained everything we needed, oven, ceramic hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and of course a dish washer. The bathroom was also new and the name on the sanitary ware would not look out of place in a five star hotel. The house was airy with a large covered patio area where we eat every day plus an additional area exposed to the sun.
The garden was mostly grass and the large pine tree provided ample shade from the hot midday sun, no need for an umbrella.
There was a large pool plus a kiddies pool, volley ball court and tennis courts and the grass bowling green must be one of the best on the Algarve.
With shops and restaurant everything was available on site or you could walk into Cabanas with it's many bars, restaurants and shops.
We had wall to wall sun which always helps to make a holiday.
Pedras da Rainha is a quiet relaxing resort, with friendly staff and great facilities, we have already booked to come again.

Apesar de ter estado pouco tempo, não gostei. Tinha-mos uma grande barata à nossa espera dentro do apartamento.
As casas estão velhas e pelo preço que praticam consegue-se melhor noutro local.
Comparativamente a Pedras D'Rei tem muito a melhorar.

Accommodation situated in beautiful landscapes gardens.A great supermarket on site that cater for your needs along with great helpful staff.Lovely pool area and nice snack bar serving good food.Few minutes walk into the centre of Cabanas where you catch the boat to the beach.Lots of nice friendly bars and places to eat.Highly recommended.

We had a lovely relaxed stay. Our apartment was a good size and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. We felt that the apartments offer very good value for money. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning units in the bedroom and living room were really great, allowing us to get a good nights sleep and escape from the heat of the day, while the little terrace was very pleasant in the evenings. We self catered so we cant comment on the bar or restaurant. The cleaners were friendly and efficient.

Rooms dark, dated and not very well cleaned. Also full of insects - even in the beds. Shame they dont spend as much effort on the outside gardens as they do on the rooms ! It could be such a nice place.Location is very good and the surrouding area is well worth staying in this area.

Second trip to pedras. It is a nice place to stay, convenient for everything and pleasant if you want to stay in the complex. Good pool, nice kitchen lots of green space. Below a few nigglesI did have some cockroaches and ants as additional guests.In a studio the fridge can get rather loudMany guests bring dogs or cats...there was one dog nearby which barked a fair bitThere was a photography club from England staying..they did, at times , become rather intrusiveBut given these things I would still go back like a shot.

In der Vorsaison angenehme Anlage. Sehr ruhig und sauber. Unser Bungalow war in sehr ordentlichem Zustand und gut ausgestattet. Leider reicht das WLAN nur um den Rezeptionsbereich. Supermarkt in Fussweite, ebenso die Promenade mit Restaurants, Kneipen und Geschäften.

Mooi onderhouden groot park. Prachtige bomen en planten. Veel verschillende soorten accomodatie en verzorging. Dagelijks schoonmaak Is in orde.
Heerlijk rustige zon-weide en erg fijn en schoon zwembad. Veel voorzieningen aanwezig zoals onder andere supermarkt en souvenir winkel.
Wel jammer dat sommige bezoekers zich niet aan de op zich duidelijke regels houden wat betreft de honden. Lopen namelijk toch regelmatig (blaffend en al) los of bij het zwembad. Badmeester houdt dit gelukkig wel goed in de gaten en grijpt tijdig in.

Rustic and charming. Great setting. Walking distance from beach and restaurants. Villa's wonderfully dated and charming. If you want sky sports in your villa don't bother. If you want peace and tranquility this the place.

O Aldeamento em si seria óptimo, nos anos 90! Necessita de algumas obras, os apartamentos não são maus de todo, mas são ligeiramente pequenos, tem ar condicionado o que é ponto positivo, a piscina é muito boa.
O ponto mais negativo é o bar do empreendimento que é "feito para a carteira dos turistas" é inaceitável que se pague o mesmo preço pela comida que num empreendimento de luxo em Albufeira! Num almoço de família para quatro pessoas não conte gastar menos de 100€. Um simples refrigerante não custa menos de 2,5€.
Se o preço da alimentação da zona recreativa fosse mais adequado aos nossos tempos e ao nosso país teria tornado a experiência muito melhor...para o preço, podia ser melhor mas enfim vale pela zona que é muito bonita

Só tem dois defeitos :
O horário do barco devia ser mais alargado (incluindo funcionamento todo o ano) e não devia haver distinçao entre hóspedes do aldeamento e de particulares.
No entanto tenho uma sugestão a fazer que é que penso que os cartões deviam ser como nas pedras del rei e funcionassem de igual maneira.

Place is little outdated but we loved it. It’s spacious, green with old olive and carob trees in between bungalows. Very well organized. Helpful staff at reception. Only problem for us was a little crowded swimming pool, and it’s closing to early. You should be able to swim when kids are already in beds.

Muito tranquilo, boas condições para quem gosta de relaxar e andar até à praia (e ainda se apanha o barco para atravessar, em 5 minutos, a ria formosa). Casas frescas com varandas relvadas e cozinha equipada.
O bar é um medo: caro e demorado.
