The food was terrible. The chicken kebab was dried out, salty and tasted of preservatives. The lamb jalfrezi was in fact a tasteless madras sauce with a couple of bits of lamb floating in it. Not sure they even had a tandoor as the nan was an uncooked flatbread!

I don’t know, did I just get here on a bad day? Food took a long time to be served, so much so that my dessert had to be put in a take away container. I literally ran out of time to eat! My meal was a simple Tandoori Chicken and rice, rice was excellent, but the chicken tasted of boiled ham? Due to language barriers I was unable to get this resolved. Starter was good but personally, it wasn’t good value. Great staff though, it was busy and they worked really hard.

Wow! Our family of five stopped here for dinner on a whim while driving to Spain. It was well worth the detour for dinner. Outstanding food and service! Every dish we ordered was amazing. Even our picky daughters devoured their kids chicken tandoori dinner.

Bonne présentation. Plat principal environ 6,50...7 euros. Terrasse d'une dizaine de table sous parasol...profitant d'une ombre sous un vent léger. Proche de la plage de Tavira (3 kms environ).

Überraschend gut. Wir waren dort, weil wir nach einem Lokal mit ausreichend fleisch- und fischlosen Angeboten suchten, was in der Gegend gar nicht so leicht ist ;-). Die Menüs bestehen aus Variationen von Korma oder Curry mit Gemüse oder verschiedenen Fleischsorten. Schärfegrad kann ausgesucht werden. Keine große Offenbarung, aber alles, auch der Reis, war fein im Geschmack und der Preis (ca.6,50 EUR pro Menü) total angemessen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

The best indian cuisine in Tavira so far! All the dishes are home made like if you where dining in a Family Indian house. The indian staff is friendly, the menu is in several languages and I will be back for sure. O melhor restaurante de cozinha indiana de Tavira. Todos os pratos são preparados com muita qualidade, não há excessos de gordura, os fritos são sequinhos e crocantes, o tempero é equilibrado, o pessoal é simpático, e por fim, a comida parece ter sido servida por uma autêntica "mãe indiana" :) Fiquei cliente, volto lá com certeza.

Mon plat indien était super bon, avec leur Naan à tomber! Mon conjoint n'aimant pas trop l'indien, il avait pu prendre une pizza car ils en font quelques unes. Ne pas y aller pour les pizzas mais c'est pratique pour les enfants ou si quelques uns n'aiment pas l'indien. Personnel agréable.

This little restaurant serves great Indian food. We each ordered a dish from the lunch menu which came with one piece of Indian bread between us, one dish of spicy rice and a modest salad of lettuce tomato and cucumber. But it was so delicious that we wished we had ordered a third curry dish between the two of us!

Uma gastronomia diferente com nomes estranhos mas geralmente agradáveis.

Nos hemos quedado muy contentos. A pesar de que está en la zona muy turístico, la comida deliciosa por muy bien precio: nos hemos pedido un pollo curry típico con el pan y arroz. Allí tratan genial a sus clientes. Recomendable!

La comida regular a un precio acorde. Pero la cerveza a 4€ la jarra, agua de 1,5L a 4,5€. Me sienti engañado al tener que pagar una cuenta abusiva por no llegar a un conflicto estando de vacaciones...

Wir hatten einen schönen Tagesabschluss hier. Das Essen war lecker . Der Wein hat geschmeckt. Nur kommt in Portugal gern alles nacheinander und nicht zusammen (Essen und Trinken ) sodass man nicht unbedingt gemeinsam anfangen kann, möchte ja jeder sein Gericht warm genießen. Trotzdem sehr schön gewesen .

So I'm in town for a quick visit and came upon this lovely restaurant next to the shops and center park, so glad my daughter and I decided to try this flavorful Indian delight! There's nothing typical about this place, as it's a gem on this street. I give the Sag Paneer 10/10 and the Butter Chicken a royal 10/10 The garlic nan was perfection! Crunchy and soft in the right places Thanks to the friendly and kind staff for taking care of our every needs Oh, and don't leave without having the masala Chai Its AMAZING

Leicht chaotischer Service der mit viel Charme wieder wtt gemacht wird. Preislich wirklich günstig und das Essen war lecker . Karte ist mehrsprachig und somit für die Touristen geeignet.

We are a humble and easy going couple from Canada and had the worst experiences in the world. We were eating at Gelateria e Pastelaria Ramos, next door to typical Indian tandoori . There was a violent situation between a guest at gelateria , the owner of that restaurant and sony the owner of the Indian restaurant around the dividing property line between both properties at the outside dining area. My wife and I were hoping for a peaceful and enjoyable breakfast but experienced a violent, disrespectful and unprofessional experience from both owners of restaurants. Our table was on the middle of both properties and sony and the guest and the lady owner got into a vulgar exchange of words and my wife and I felt in danger. The worst part is neither apologized to us but the lady owner did apologize to the guests behind us which I suspect was because they were caucasian and we were Asian. In addition , the staff at the indian restaurant felt it was more important to move their tables to touch ours with no respect or decency . I would definitely not eat at the indian restaurant mainly due to the poor behaviour from the owner. Both owners should have dealt with the situation privately and as a result , I took the time to write this honest feedback and welcome either owner for an apology to my wife and I.

Local muito agradável interessante com uma carta agradável interessante e muito diversificada a comida boa e um local atrativo junto ao rio onde as opções são variadas mas o atendimento eficaz faz a diferença simpatia ajuda e vale a experiência numa visita de médico adorei a localidade e a animação no local valeu os cêntimos ou euros pois o dia foi bem passado a seleção de vinhos tb faz a diferença

Jedzenie słabe do indyjskiego daleko brak nawet zapachu przypraw. Obsługa miła najsmaczniejszy był ryż. W kraju pomarańczy podają sok z butelki słabe nie polecam zamówiony 3 dania i najlepszy był ryż.

We were looking for good vegetarian options in town and the staff were very friendly so we decided to give Indian a try. All dishes were absolutely delicious, made fresh and to our desired level of spicey. 5/5 we could not fault our meal and enjoyed a lovely evening here.

Great Indian restaurant! The food was delicious and the staff members were very helpful and nice. We got some kind of large crispy tortillas with sauces for free to start with, so that is a nice addition too. I would definitely recommend going to this restaurant if you want to have Indian food. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that there was no beef or pork. But I think that is because cows are holy in India. (don't know about pigs tho).

Hands down best tiki masala I have ever had. The service was excellent and the wine selection paired nicely with the cuisine. I was mostly impressed with the way they prepared the rice. Samosas were also crisp and not too greasy. I recommend a medium spice level on the tiki masala. Great place this is, right along the river in the heart of the city centre. Thanks typical, loved it!
