The worst hotel I've ever been. The flooring in the room is made of ceramic tiles that have not been changed since the hotel was built. The rooms smell very badly and the furniture is worn out. The bed is the worst thing in the room a super uncomfortable bed with a spring mattress. The pillow is actually a bag full of rags, and bed linen is rubbed and worn out. There is no wireless Internet access in the rooms. This can not be a three-star hotel in a resort. Forget about this hotel if you planning a vacation in Monte Gordo

We stayed at this hotel in May 2019 and found the staff to be so friendly and extremely helpful. The building could do with a bit of updating but our room was spotless and cleaned daily. The buffet breakfast was okay but became a bit predictable after a few days( mugs instead of small cups for tea would be helpful). However we would not hesitate to stay here again as the staff were super- we enjoyed meeting Ricky and Pearl the foyer cats too!

Hotel met mogelijkheid van ontbijt, lunch en diner. Eenvoudig van opzet, met een marokkaanse sfeer. Hygiëne is keurig op orde. Vriendelijk personeel,dat tevens behulpzaam is bij eventuele vragen. Hotel heeft een lift, terras en zwembad. Het is ongeveer tien minuten lopen vanaf het strand. Kamers voorzien van airconditioning en balkon. Ook voldoende kamers aanwezig met, indien gewenst, een ligbad. Een föhn is ook aanwezig, evenals kledingkast met hang en leggedeelte en een dressboy. Klein koelkastje zonder inhoud en een kleine platte tv maken het geheel compleet. Het hotel is tevens een prima uitvalsbasis om de omgeving van de Algarve te verkennen. Op een kleine 15 kilometer afstand ligt Spanje. Wel een aanrader om een auto te huren. De afstanden naar bezienswaardigheden zijn te groot om alles met het openbaar vervoer te doen.

Hotel muy bien situado cerca de la playa pero está bastante viejo, las habitaciones no son muy acogedoras, no hay más que un enchufe por lo que se hace complicado cargar los móviles o cámaras, las camas son bastante duras y el baño súper antiguo. El desayuno bufé no está mal pero se echa en falta algunas cosas. Lo mejor los gatos que custodian el hotel, son muy buenos y tranquilos, es lo mejor. En sus tiempos fue un buen hotel, ahora se ha quedado muy anticuado.

Bueno empecemos. Iba con régimen de media pension y por la calidad precio pagado le doy un 8 sobre 10 al hotel. La puntuación del hotel general un 6. Hay que tener en cuenta que es un hotel 3 estrellas y normalito pero por lo general bien en todo salvo algunos detallitos. El desayuno tipo buffet estaba bastante bien. Normalito pero bien. Las cenas no eran buffet sino un primero, segundo y postre a elegir entre 3 platos. Todo muy bueno la verdad. El personal del hotel un poco seco a excepción de los dos camareros del restaurante que eran serviciales, simpáticos y agradables. Lo mejor del hotel. La llave de la habitación era muy antigua y manchaba de grasa, el baño un poco antiguo y lo peor de lo peor la cortina de la ducha que aunque era muy nueva me parece muy poco higienico. La limpieza general muy bien. Las camas algo blandas para mi gusto pero bien también. Hay consola de frio y calor individual eso muy bien. La tele un poco pequeña y prácticamente no sintonizaba ningun canal pero tenia entrada usb y hdmi para enchufar el portátil. La habitación solo tiene 1 enchufe y en el baño ninguno. La cobertura wifi muy escasa. Destacar que en el salón común del hotel habia dos gatos muy enternecedores pero hay personas que son alérgicas, eso deberían indicarlo. En la puerta del hotel hay 8 estacionamientos reservados para clientes aunque hay que decir que en esta época no habia problema de estacionamiento. Esta muy bien situado a nada y menos de la playa andando. Con todo lo dicho no me importaría repetir. Espero que os ayude

El hotel es muy bonito, el servicio es super amable. Las terracitas tienen mucho encanto y vista parcial al mar, tienen piscina, solarium y bar de copas. La comida es buena aunque calidad buffet de hotel, recomiendo no contratar la media pensión y comer fuera, montegordo no es especialmente caro para comer. Si vuelvo a la ciudad sin duda este hotel sera mi primera opción.

No volveré,falta de limpieza en la habitacion,instalaciones viejas,la ducha no funcionaba correctamente salía agua tanto del grifo como de la alcachofa,el buffet si eliges media pensión es a la carta y te dan a elegir entre dos platos de un primero y se un segundo y el postre,el desayuno si es buffet,lo suficiente para un desayuno normal,comentar también que faltan enchufes en la habitacion y mal ubicado,lo dicho no volvere

Heel goed hotel. Vriendelijk personeel. Ik had alleen wat pech met een airco van naastgelegen kamer die de hele nacht steeds opnieuw aansloeg en meer lawaai maakte dan normaal. Daar hebben ze niks aan gedaan. Anders 5 sterren.

Een gezellig hotel, balkon op het zuiden. Gasten zijn wat ouder waardoor je meer rust krijgt, het eten is uitstekend. Kamers zijn wel klein en gedateerd . De badkamer is van alle gemakken voorzien, bad-bidet-enz. Het strand ligt op loopafstand en de boulevard is schitterend, ik heb een fijne vakantie gehad, bedankt TUI

Just coming to the end of our second visit this year. Everything is up to standard with hotel, staff, food and facilities as usual, cannot do enough for you. We are already booked for early 2019.

Booked as a.last minute 5 day break at short notice and wasn't disappointed. Arrived at 11 am and staff said rooms at the.front weren't ready but if we came back later these would be ready. Rooms were basic but spotless and we had a sea view. Hotel itself was.fine for a.3 star. Breakfast was included in the price and was buffet style with plenty of choice. Went to Monte gordo over 20 years ago and didn't recognise the place especially the new boardwalk along the front which was nice for a stroll. The beach was empty as out of season but can 8 marine it being full during the summer. Monte gordo has plenty of places to eat and.drink and is good as a Base as you can go to Spain for the day on the ferry and also visit other resorts on the Algarve.

Pas trop mal mais des aléas. .Comme faire la chambre à 15h..problème de climatisation , bruit de porte , pas de plats portugais , parle très peux français , sauf le chef de salle , le garçon de nuit ce prend pour un anglais au touristes pour partir en fin de séjour lol vraiment déçu pour se genre d'hôtel à 3 étoiles , étoile française 1 , à oui manque de place pour se garer avec son véhicule. ..Bonne chance à tous pour cette hôtel

Boa noite...venho aqui deixar o meu comentário.No início deste mês fiquei uma noite neste hotel de baixa qualidade mesmo.
O check-in foi rápido de ser feito,chegamos por volta das 16horas,mas quando chegamos ao quarto,nem sequer ainda a limpeza estava feita,mau demais.Em relação ao estacionamento é nos atribuido um ticket do qual nem dá para usufruir,devido aos poucos lugares que existem.Uma das funcionárias foi extremamente arrugante,não gostei do atendimento.O wc do quarto a banheira não escuava a água nas devidas condições.Aliás na minha opinião a única coisa positiva foi mesmo aquele gato que andava por lá.
Não irei voltar nunca mais.

Schönes kleines Hotel mit bester Lage, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Der einzige Kritik Punkt ist das Frühstück. Es ist echt jeden Tag das selbe. Nach drei Tagen hat man keine Lust mehr Frühstücken zu gehen. Dafür war das Abendessen super und sehr abwechslungsreich.

Goed hotel met een geweldig ontbijt. Fijn personeel waarvoor niets teveel was ).
Kamer is brandschoon en leuk ingericht ( zie foto van het zitje op de kamer). Ook is een balkon aanwezig.
Het hotel heeft een prachtig binnen- en buitenzwembad en aansluitend een ruimte met ligstoelen om te zonnen. Ik kom hier graag nog een keer terug. Monte Gordo is een gezellige badplaats en heeft een geweldig strand ( vanaf het hotel een klein stukje lopen en de weg oversteken).

Prima hotel voor de prijs die je betaald. Wel een beetje gehorig. Bad in de kamer is voor ouderen niet ideaal gezien de hoge instap in de douche. Voor ons was het juist wel erg fijn, heb er van de 6 nachtjes toch zeker 2 keer gebruik van gemaakt!
Elke dag werd de kamer schoongemaakt en het ontbijt is prima! Top!
Personeel bij de receptie en de schoonmakers zijn erg aardig, in de bar wat nukkig en geklungel bij de tap. WiFi reikt niet verder dan de receptie/entree, dus niet bij ontbijtruimte, zwembad of in de kamer.
Al met al, een dikke prima!

Reasonably priced, friendly welcoming staff. Stayed B&B. Breakfast perfectly adequate. Some people moaned that the food was the same every day but I think they completely miss the point that although the 'choices' don't change, you can choose something different each day!! Rooms clean & clean towels daily. Air con at no extra charge. Very close to the beach and plenty of nearby restaurants. Swimming pool and sunbed area. Bar and restaurant. Visited in October and really enjoyed it but not sure what it would be like in high season

Hotel já com alguns anos que tem vindo a melhorar, quartos em remodelação, staff simpático, muito limpo, tranquilo, com bom pequeno almoço, qualidade/preço razoável. O nosso quarto foi dos antigos, o único senão foram os colchões de muito má qualidade. Aproveito para agradecer a simpatia da Ana e da Indira as recepcionistas, que tudo fizeram para que a estadia fosse de excelência.

The hotel is ok. More older people visit here so not for younger, livelier people, it is very quiet. The pool isn't used, so doesn't look like it gets cleaned. The breakfast is basic and isn't covered, except for with a few flies . The dinner is a 3 course meal which is ok. The beach is about 4 minutes away and costs €12 a day for 2 beds and an umbrella. You get 20% discount if you stay at the hotel.

Personal jätte trevliga.Mkt gammal standard i vårat hotellrum på botten våningen.lite myror på rummet så man får tänka sig för att inte lägga nått sött på bänken.Hårda sängar.Jag var inte mkt för deras städning då det låg hår kvar på golv o badkaret känndes äckligt.På vårat rum var det dåligt med att vattnet försvann i badkar så man stod i det.Jag sätter 2 1/2 stjärna..kanske borde rusta upp jotellet då inredningen var gammal..o sliten..

Antigo, para adicionar a um hóspede lhe cobraram à minha namorada o dobro como se fosse suite!! Camas nada confortáveis, ar condicionado a funcionar fatal, pequeno almoço simples mas os sumos e iogurtes são do pior! Não leva uma estrela pq está bem ubicado, e eram limpos pelo menos!

Foi muito fraco.... foi o pior hotel por onde andei em toda a minha vida. Comprei 8 dias e no 4 dia fui-me embora. A coomida foi do pior que ja comi ou melhor que não comi por tinha que ir comer fora para não passar fome. Não tinham empregados fixos cada vez era uma cara diferente ... chegaram a ser 8 empregados de mesa para 22 pessoas na sala de jantar. Cozinheiras vi pelo menos 4 em 4 dias e cada uma apresentava a sua habilidade..... até cheguei a ter nojo de da comida que me apresentaram. Era um autêntico figurino aquela sala de jantar desde cozinheiras todas desdentadas a vesgos gordas e marrecas. ... só lá faltava um coxo.... o qie se chama um staf perfeito para um hotel O espaço é simpático e a localização é boa. Não recomendo este hotel a ninguém.

El hotel antiguo pero esta bien, la recepcion mal muy secos y no te dan informacion de nada hay que sacarles las cosas con sacacorchos, el desayuno escasa variedad pero bueno te hace el apaño, eso si la cena malísima, un agua con cachos de carne y pasta pasada como el rancho de las peliculas pues igual y muy escasa, la verdad q al final acabamos cenando fuera aunque perdieramos dinero pero ganabamos en salud

only given 3 stars due to the pool area. pool not very clean. the hotel staff are very friendly and and work very hard to keep the place clean and tidy. there are 2 cats there that live in the hotel but didn't bother me as i have a cat so if you have alleges to cat look elsewhere. it very quiet around here but very flat for walking around loads of places to eat and drink around the hotel all within 5 to 10 minutes walk away nice sandy beach within a few minutes walk away from hotel. if your looking for a clubbing week look elsewhere if you want to relax and enjoy the old Portuguese fishing town that keep it's old charm. getting around is easy taxis are cheap there a train station about 20 minutes walk taking to faro then you can get the train to other parts.

Echt een fantastisch hotel. Vriendelijk personeel, een Nederlands sprekende serveerster, super goed eten, een fijne kamer waar je alles hebt wat je nodig hebt voor een prettig verblijf. Ook voor mindervalide is het prima hier. Ze hebben een lift. Kortom...volop genieten hier

Das ganze Hotel sowie der gesamte Ort ist geprägt von ca. 98% holländischen, englischen und spanischen Touristen. Deutsch wird sehr wenig bis gar nicht gesprochen. Im Frühjahr sehr ruhig zum abschalten.

Gran servicio y trato por parte de los camareros, con los que más trato teníamos, ya que al contratar la pensión completa pasamos 3 veces al día por el comedor. Hotel tranquilo para gente que busca como nosotros un ambiente familiar, ya que viajamos con nuestro bebé. Pocos platos para elegir pero siempre están deliciosos, el crío los come muy bien. Calidad-precio genial.

Lovely old world cosy quaint hotel. Staff are great, food is good. Swimming pool is hot 28deg c. Good quiet location. Plenty sun beds.

Reasonably priced and reasonably comfortable. Definitely not for those requiring modern, trendy or fussy accommodation ! It's clean and cosy if rather dated. The food is adequate but not exciting or plentiful.
Location is quiet but a short walk to beach, bars etc.
We liked it but we are not very demanding !

Ideal location to visit Monte Gordo by foot if necessary, numerous eating and drinking establishments within 5-10 minutes walk!

Fab room with sea view plenty of sunshine very happy , very clean and towels bedding frequent change and lovely comfy bed and pillows topped with excellent breakfast and lovely friendly staff , fridge was very useful indeed and good tv , the awesome beach of monte gordo just a stroll away ......thankyou Casablanca my stay was perfect

We had a nice room with a peek-a-poo view of the ocean, which was just a one-block walk. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which was included in our great room rate.

For a short stay in a traditional hotel the Casablanca Inn ticked all the boxes. Check in could not be easier and service generally could not be faulted. Our second time here and we will be back,

Great hotel with very friendly staff. All of them speak English well. The in-house bar (Rick's Bar; a nod to the casablanca film) is well priced and serves an excellent lunch. It is also a great place to relax in the afternoon. The breakfast offered by the hotel is a buffet and has some great bread and plenty of warm food to choose from.
The room we stayed in was good too, but we had two single beds while we were expecting a double bed. They were really comfortable and we slept great nonetheless.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral, nur wenige Meter zum Strand und Restaurants. Hatten das Zimmer 001 was direkt an der Rezeption liegt und sehr hellhörig war. Cocktails in der Hotelbar jedoch recht günstig und gut.

Bardzo fajny hotel, kameralny, zadbany i czysty. Bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa. Jedzenie smaczne i świeże, obiadokolacje serwowane przez tydzień codziennie inne menu. 3min od plaży lecz baaardzo przeludnionej w sierpniu. Lokalizacja dobra, lecz jak chcesz zwiedzić plaże z klifami to jest ponad 100km w jedną stronę także daleko.

Bardzo miła o sługa, świetne jedzenie, bardzo blisko do oceanu, w pokojach klimatyzacja. Polecam na urlop. Miasteczko urocze, najwięcej się tam dzieje wieczorami. Plusem też jest bliskość do granicy z Hiszpanią

Das Hotel ist hübsch und übersichtlich. Es bietet einen kleinen Pool, eine Bar und gemütliche Innen- und Außensitzplätze. Die Zimmer sind sauber. Sogar ein kleiner Kühlschrank ist enthalten.
Leider ist die Parkplatzsituation am Hotel, sowie in ganz Monte Gordo recht schlimm. Die ca. acht zum Hotel gehörigen Parkplätze sind ständig von offensichtlich einheimischen Pkw belegt. Das Hotel prüft nicht, wer dort parkt. Alle anderen Parkplätze sind von 9 bis 22 Uhr kostenpflichtig.
Das Frühstück und Abendessen sind in Ordnung bis lecker. Das Personal immer freundlich.
Die Parkplatzsituation mal außer acht gelassen kann man das Hotel gut empfehlen.

Boa noite! a minha estadia no Hotel Casablanca Inn deixou-me alguma satifaçao como a hegiene e a comida excelente e tambem coisas menos boas como nao ter WI.-FI nos quartos e a linguagem usada »asneiras» entre empregadas que se esquecem que o hotel tambem e frequentados por PORTUGUESES .

Gutes Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis. Uns hat das recht familiäre Hotel gut gefallen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht und der Live-Musik Abend ist ein echter Geheimtipp, da zu unserer Überraschung lauter portugiesische Stammgäste erschienen und für richtig Stimmung gesorgt haben. Doch Obacht: Die Matratzen waren sehr hart.

Habitación incómoda y agobiante. No tiene más q un enchufe en toda la habitación. Ni en el wc!!!. Solo hay wifi en el hall y muy mala calidad. Además te encuentras en los sofás animales que dejan pelos y luego se te quedan en la ropa, por lo que es poco higiénico.
Desayuno buffet bastante completo y cena de menú también bien.

I'm sorry to see some poor reviews of the Casablanca as I have stayed there a couple of times recently and I found it a hotel in a good location and the accommodation first class for the price. I will be staying again in the future .

Hotel que apresenta algum desgaste. Sofreu obras em algumas áreas comuns mas os quartos são antigos e apresentam alguns deficiências, tais como a TV, falta de tomadas perto da cama e bastante desgaste dmno mobiliário. Hotel está marcado como sendo de 3 estrelas contudo a documentação apresentada nos quartos indica que é de 4 estrelas o que nos leva a pensar que em tempos remotos já foi bom...

Prima hotel voor deze prijs. Het strand is vlakbij. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en lekker. Personeel is vriendelijk en de handdoeken worden elke dag ververst.

The only thing I have to point out is that the smell of food that enters the room through the vents of the building is very unpleasant and almost constant during the day and part of the night.Otherwise, as a budget hotel this seems to be a good choice.

L hotel est bien situé, proche de la plage dans une zone calme.Points positifs : clim récente dans la chambre, petit déjeuner varié, proprete des chambres, déco de l'hotel, personnel aimable, accueil 24H/24 , repas du soir a 8.9 euro ( entree , plat , dessert ) sans boisson mais modifier tous les jours.Points négatifs : il n 'y a pas de piscine, mais un bassin pour les petits ( avec interdiction de plongée ), wifi gratuit seulement dans les parties communes , très petite TV cathodique ( indigne d'un hotel **** étoiles ) avec un micro mini-bar, difficulté de dormir jusqu'a 11H30 du au ménage du personnel de l'hotel, pas de parking ( 4 place sont réservé dans la rue sinon c'est payant partout - 0.80cts de l'heure ! - sauf apres le 15/09 ) excepté dans les parkings à l'entrée et à la sortie de la ville ( 15 min a pied de l'hotel ).

Our third year, and can only say that things always get better! Amazing family venue, my daughter (who is 9yrs old) and I feel at home. Every member of all the staff teams are equally delightful, professional and caring. Everything is to a high standard. Some may think it's dated, but we feel it to be charismatic, charming and somehow unique. Maybe I shouldn't rate it so high, because i want to come back next year and I fear that I won't have a vacancy

Hotel sombre et veillissant avec un mobilier datant....Le personnel de l accueil n anticipé pas votre arrivée , venez avec votre réservation imprimée si vous voulez pas perdre trop de temps à la réception. Le parking est payant 3.2 euros toutes les 4 heures de 9 à 22h ou 18 euro la journée Les draps ne sont pas changer si vous faîtes un séjour de plusieurs jours. Et les serviettes de rechange sont souvent oubliées vous devez les demander à laccueil. Peu de produits d hygiène corporelle sont fournis.Les chambres sont males insonorisées et la climatisation s arrêté lorsque vous sortez de la chambre,( petite astuces introduisez une carte de fidélité le courant et maintenu et la fraîcheur aussi.) Seul point positif la proximité de belle plage et un buffet du petit déjeuner correct.

Overwinter hier vanaf 2014 en bevalt uitstekend. Prima personeel, schone kamer, voordelig logies met uitgebreid ontbijt (continentaal en Engels) en kan naar behoefte hier ook lunchen en dineren. Receptie dag en nacht bezet, WiFi in de lounge. Vlak achter de boulevard en strand.

Von all den hotels die dort stehen ist dieses das schönste von aussen und hebt sich dadurch ab.
Durch seine bescheidene Größe sind dort auch nicht unangenehm viele Menschen zumindest in der Vorsaison.
Die Lage ist optimal schnell zum "ortskern" aber wenig Verkehr und quasi direkt am Strand.
Die Qualität vom zimmerservice, buffet etc. ist genau so wie ich sie in dieser Preisklasse erwartet habe.

Early check in allowed us to use the ferry across to Spain for a look round Ayamonte, a brilliant start to our stay! A 12o´clock check out was a leisurely end to the holiday.

Lovely hotel and restaurant the staff there are lovely and friendly always there if you need anything. Been here 4 times now and never had any problems just love it. Looking forward to going there again soon

A little difficult to find and parking is EXTREMELY limited - the hotel has only a few reserved spaces of their own - we lucked out as another car was being towed out of one of their spaces. The hotel itself was very clean, the staff was pleasant and helpful. Dinner was delicious and the breakfast buffet was plentiful. The rooms were quiet, clean, and well appointed, but the bed was very hard - like sleeping on a board. Nice bar with couches. Location is very crazy during high tourist season!

Hotel che si distingue per la categoria, in posizione ottima vicina al centro della località e al centro balneare. Buona la sistemazione stanza sufficiente e servizi all'altezza. Lascia un pò a desiderare il servizio della prima colazione che non è a buffet ma su ordinazione senza elenco delle consumazioni, ne risulta un pò difficoltoso il conoscere la disponibilità delle vivande. Non adatto per famiglie con bambini per gli spazi comuni piscina e Hall molto ristretti.

The hotel is situated near the beach in pleasant surroundings and in the centre of town.
The staff are polite, friendly and helpful.
We only dined in one night - the food was basic, breakfast was satisfactory.
We thought it was very good value for the money we paid.

Foi pena ser apenas uma noite, porém ficámos com boa impressão do hotel, bem como da sua localização, sossegado e com muito bom aspecto interior e exterior.
Muito bom para a qualidade / preço. Não tivemos oportunidade de tomar nenhuma refeição, em particular o pequeno almoço, dado que as boas comodidades do alojamento oferecidas, nos levaram a repousar até tarde.
As refeições principais, também nos pareceu serem de preço acessivel, bem como o respectivos menus.
