Absolutely Delicious food and lovely friendly hosts, best choc fudge cake I’ve tasted Visited twice on our 10 day holiday to cabanas, tucked away but well worth finding!

Just got home after a lovely evening at the Cabanas Brasserie had 3 courses with red wine home cooked food hot and tasty brilliant night lovely people very welcoming and warm. Will definitely go again.

We have been going to Cabanas for the last 11 years, and it's the first place we have dinner every time. As soon as you walk through the door Fernando remembers you and makes you feel welcome. Gills cooking is wonderful, we've never had a bad meal, and if there is nothing on the menu you fancy, if you give Gill 24 hours notice she will cook you whatever you want. Both Gill and Fernando make everyone welcome, while we were there last week there were two elderly people who came in separately for dinner and they were made to feel at home.

Wonderful family, (english/português), restaurant where the food is fantastic and the service also. You feel very welcome, like old friends. And their oranges... I love that you get to take some home after your visit. We will come here over and over again ❤️

Jill, de Britse vrouw werkt hier als kokkin en Fernando doet de bediening. Je kunt daar heerlijk eten en drinken. Hun zoon Tiago assisteert hen vaak met de bediening. Ze hebben gevarieerd eten: zowel verschillende soorten vis en Vleesmaaltijden.

Restaurante muito agradável e bonito.

Wonderful friendly service, and amazing food. Have the garlic prawns, baked hake, and the coconut cake and/or cold cream pie.

Little brasserie, family run very pleasent. Bit more expensive than the jolly sailor(which l think is better)Not bad but not great.

Preço acessível, tempo de espera rápido. Comi peixe à Goa, estava muito bom. O atendimento é muito simpático e eficiente. É pena é a localização.

Just returned from the Algarve where I managed to visit my favourite restaurant that we discovered last year, and I wasn't disappointed. They do the finest bowl of steamed mussels you'll ever eat, and every meal is personalised and cooked to perfection (compliments to the lady of the house- excellent chef!) and the service is warm, friendly and inviting, owned by a lovely family with good hearts. If you're an animal lover, hang around to watch the local cats come running for dinner at 11pm sharp as they feed them every night. Also most restaurants offer a vegetable soup for starter, it's cheap and simple yet this has to be my favourite place to get the popular soup. For $2 it's a tasty appetiser and done best at the Brasserie.

A Must Go! I've been to the algarve a few times now and i have visited a lot of the restaurants there and Cabanas Brasserie was the best of the bunch! The service was exceptional and has been every time I have visited, so I was surprised to see that there was a negative comment about the service. The owners are extremely friendly and take time to make sure that you get the best experience from your visit, with a personal touch, which I feel most restaurants in the area severely lack. The service is great, but it's the food that really makes it exceptional. Their menu offers a great variety of food, with great specials which are updated regularly. I'd personally recommend the steak in brandy and mustard sauce, because it really was out of this world! I think the restaurant can often be over looked, as it is not located directly by the seafront, however if you are in the area I would definitely recommend finding it,as it is the dining treasure of the Algarve!
