Wer mal etwas anderes als Portugiesische Küche haben möchte.. 100punkte. Sehr nette Bedienung und lekkeres Essen.Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen. Ich kam mich einem anderen Rezensenten nur anschließen.. Lässt euch nicht vom ersten Eindruck täuschen, alles gut hier!

Portions were small especially the starters, 1 samosa for €2? Onion bhajis were dry. Mains of Chicken Korma & biryani were tasty. Service was good

My favourite place to eat in Tavira. Hidden away in a side street yet very central. Excellent food and great service. Plenty of vegetarian options for me. And they do pizzas for anyone in your party does not want the Indian cuisine. If you like your beer cold, you’ll get an ice-cold chilled glass to drink your very cold cerveja from. Check it out.

Couple of tables outside and few more inside. Great hospitality, perfect mango lassi, tasty dishes. Some complimentary snacks. Waiter was very helpful - asking for our preferences. Waiting time for paneer and lentils - around 8 minutes. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic find, lovely Indian food and the kids loved the pizza, looks like a little cafe from the outside and probably would have walked past if friends hadn't recommended it, well worth a visit.

Delicious Indian food in the heat of Tavira. Enjoyed ever fish we had to eat. The staff was excellent and tested us extremely well. They even paid amazing attention to our child. (And the children's menu was good fare also)

We had the spinach with cheese, and the prawn curry. We can warmly recommend both of them. excellent taste for a reasonable price. Stuff is also really hospitable and friendly.

El lugar feo, una mezcla entre lo indio y europeo sin llegar a estar en ningún lugar, pero, lo importante que es la comida extraordinaria, cocina india auténtica y el personal excelente, la verdad es que no hay que fijarse por las apariencias, el local no.... Todo lo demás sí, un acierto.

First class Indian cuisine, and pizza (with crossovers)...this tiny place has grown immensely in local popularity...get there early. Great guys with great food. Reservations also recommended for larger groups.

A small unassuming Indian Restaurant. Don't let that deceive you. The food is far better than other Indian restaurants in the area that are situated in more popular locations near the river. The meals and drinks are very fairly priced and the restaurant is well worth a visit.

Very friendly staff. Big menu choice, including a large number of dishes for vegetarians. Food very nicely spiced & tasty. 90€ for 4 including good nibbles (good pakoras!) , drinks, a Naan, rice & mains. We did not leave the table hungry!

Pleasantly surprised by the good taste, good price, good service. I actually was asking myself whether it wouldn't be better to not look to any reviews since we've had multiple 'mwah-experiences' in places that were highly recommended. This time we loved it though! Very reasonably priced (31 euros 2 persons, including bottle of wine) and very tasty. Not really a great ambiance but nice enough and great tast like I said :-)

Adoro a massa do pão ( Nan) e pizza, caril de frango ou de camarão, excelentes! O arroz simples é divinal! Borrego Josh Rogan e sublime!Enfim...aconselho, vivamente! Atendimento simpático, atencioso e educado. O único senão para não atribuir 5 * deve-se ao WC... deviam renová-lo...

Tasty, big portions, good price. In my opinion the meals are a bit too much europanized to meet tourists standards so don't expect to feel very similar taste to that you remember from India, but it is good anyway.

O lugar de fora nao parece nada convidativo, com um ar de fast-food "desenrrasca". Mas realmente foi um dos restaurantes onde comi melhor comida indiana!! Recomendo e pretendo voltar um dia se voltar a Tavira!

Si te gusta la comida india tienes que ir a este sitio. Todo perfecto y buenísimo. Lo que más nos gustó fué el cordero korma. Todo muy limpio y el servicio super atento y amable. Algo que me sorprendió mucho fueron los precios, muy económico a pesar de ser un sitio turístico. Volveremos!!

O Little India é mesmo um pedacinho de Índia com uma comida caseira muito muito característica!

Little place, clean and simple. Excellent service. Close to the central area of the town.
Expect to pay about 13 euros per person - the main dish is about 8-9 and then rice/naan/drink will cost you another 2 euros each.
The only issue was the taste of the curries. Our group shared three different Indian dishes and all of them had the same issues - way too much sugar and a little too bland (not as spicy and as aromatic as we used to get in other Indian restaurants). My Chicken Korma was so sweet that it was more appropriate for a dessert.
Maybe such taste is authentic for some regional Indian cuisine that this restaurant represents, but I am comparing it to many other Indian restaurants I ate in over many years in different countries.
However, if you are fine with curries on a sweeter side, you would probably enjoy this place.

Absolutely love little india, having beem coming every summer whenever I am in tavira. The staff are very friendly. Some of the best curry's I have had. Great if you fancy a change of flavour from Portuguese food.

Favorite destination for Indian food in Tavira. Fantastic and friendly staff lead by two brothers. All the traditional Indian dishes generously served and reasonably priced. The kebabs and pizzas are also excellent though the Indian dishes are a higher culinary experience.

Our first Indian meal in Portugal and really loved it. It set the standard for the other Indian meals we had in Lisbon and this one really comes out at the top. If you are looking for something non-Portuguese, this place is a very good choice serving delicious food. Really good service and we enjoyed sitting outside watching the world go by.

Desde mi desconocimiento de la comida india, estaba todo buenísimo!!! El trato del personal excelente, nos atendieron super rápido y se esforzaron por hablar en español (carta en español). Es una excelente opción para cambiar la típica comida regional. El precio, más que bueno... 2 cervezas, 2 platos de pollo al curry, 1 de arroz, 1 pan indio y por cortesía de la casa torta papduns con tres salsas, todo 25 euritos. Repetimos si volvemos a Tavira!!

Sitting outside the front of this wonderful little Indian restaurant. Completely satisfied. Maybe the best Indian I've had. They serve the beer in frosted glasses. The food and the service was exceptionally good. I feel guilty not eating the local cuisine on our first night in Portugal but I feel even more guilty that I'm already considering coming back here tomorrow! A+

La verdad que después de cenar en este sitio, tengo que decir que me ha sorprendido para bien, los trabajadores han sido super amables y cordiales. La comida está muy buena, tienen gran variedad en todos los sentidos. Y el precio muy bien también. Sin duda volvería a cenar aquí.

El local puede no llamar la atención pero la comida si, es india de verdad. Está riquísima, muy bien presentada y el servicio es excelente. De precio bien: pan, arroz con huevo, dos platos y bebida 24€ entrante nos lo regalaron ( nos sobro comida) Volveremos!

Como comentan en otras reseñas, desde fuera parece un kebab normal, pero tienen comida india muy buena. El servicio muy bueno, nos invitaron a unos pappadoms. Precio razonable. Para repetir.

I had passed this place many times without trying it, probably because I wrongly did not take it seriously due to the fact that it also does Pizza. Finally got round to giving it a try and they now have my Chana Masala business from now on. Food was excellent and unlike other places they charge a sensible price for a dish that contains no meat or fish

Wow im missing words. The food was unreal, i have never eaten anything that tastes so good as it did on Little India. The waiter and rest of the staff was so kind and the service was AMAZING. Im kinda sad im leaving tomorrow because if i could i would try different meals everyday here. Big love to you all.

The best Indian restaurant in Tavira! Small and cozier than the regular Indian restaurants around, which look more or less the same. Try the samosas, taste like homemade.
