Sehr schöner Strand, perfekter Parkplatz fürs Wohnmobil mit schlnem Meerblick

This is basically 2 very sandy carparks overlooking the sea. Maybe 8 motorhomes would fit in each carpark depending on size. The top, first carpark on the right is on a slight slope but there are a few flat areas to park. The lower second carpark on the right is pretty flat. There are a couple of picnic table in the second carpark beside the bar. The road leading here is a sandy/dirt road for about the last 2kms. We were here during heavy rain and it was ok to drive except the road is very bumpy. There is a bar here that was closed in mid October. We found the roaming mobile signal pretty poor but we had a Portuguese 4g data SIM which had an ok signal. There are no services, only some large bins in the carpark. There also seems to be a resident ginger cat. There are steps to the long sandy beach which is mainly used for fishing and some surfing. The waves are quiet rough here so not suitable for swimming in the winter months. Pros: Free parking. Picnic benches. Stunning sunset views. Very quiet. Cons: Entrance road may not be suitable for leisure cyclists as it very sandy. No real shade.  We had 2 quiet nights with 4 other motorhomes with only the sound of crashing waves. A few fishermen also were also parked here. It was wet while we were here and the damp sand gets everywhere but it was still worth it. Bring shopping supplies as the nearest shop in Melides is 10km away. Bugs/Mosquitoes. (They love us..) We did not encounter any mosquitoes here.
