Beautiful view but we are sitting here for 40 minutes now and there is no staff. We came for lunch and we can’t even order a drink, not even at the bar because the only girl that’s working here is in the kitchen. She saw us but ignored us and many other people.

Gerade bei Einheimischen sehr beliebt und gut besucht, was immer ein gutes Zeichen ist. Selbst gebackener Kuchen und tolle Kaffeekreationen zu unschlagbar günstigen Preisen. Tolle Aussicht von der Terrasse. Als Zwischenstopp bei einer Küstenwanderung unbedingt einplanen.

My family loves Samuel and his restaurant! The seafood is AMAZING and The food is cooked to perfection and is so delicious! Today we had the garlic shrimp, steamed butter mussels and drank freshly made red Sangria. For dessert, we had fresh fruit and his aunt’s chocolate cake. Just a wonderful lunch!!!!
This is the second year in a row that we make sure we always stop and visit!
My wife always says it is her favorite restaurant in the world!
We love Samuel and wish him the best!

Leckerer frischer Fisch. Jedoch konnte der Kellner kein Englisch und hat sixteen (16€) mit sixty (60) verwechselt. Letztendlich durften wir für einen zwar sehr leckeren Fisch 64,5 € bezahlen.... die Entschuldigung der anderen Kellnerin, die besser englisch sprach, konnte die Preisdifferenz von über 40€ auch nicht besser machen.

O comer é bem confeccionado e os produtos frescos de qualidade. Falta maior variedade de bebidas. A vista é magnifica, das melhores do país. Com sorte podem ver as cegonhas brancas, águia pesqueira, águia de bonelli, falcão peregrino, gralha de bico vermelho e muitos outros(conforme a altura do ano). O único senão é o tempo que demoram na recolha dos pedidos e na entrega dos mesmos. Quatro horas para almoçar é muito, se não fosse a vista a fauna a qualidade dos alimentos e a simpatia eu não aconselharia. Os preços são muito razoáveis. Vale a pena experimentar.

Lovely spot but to say the service is slow is an understatement. We left with nothing more than an ola in 40 minutes. I wish we could say it was busy, but at 3.30pm on a Thursday in January, it certainly wasn't. Shame as it could be a good place to head to, and what food was produced while we were there looked good.

Come here and enjoy the amazing view. Drinks are cheap and food is delicious. The prawns and clams are definitely worth a try. The only thing is, don't come here if you're in a hurry!

As vistas são de facto magníficas, o serviço é atencioso e simpático, mas isso não é suficiente para criar um bom local - a cozinha tem que acompanhar a qualidade. Se calhar devíamos ter feito reserva.

Fantastic little restaurant with amazing views over the sea! Took ages to be served but who cares when you’re sat in such an amazing spot. Prices are very reasonable and the fish fresh from the sea! Octopus salad was top notch!

Dieses "Cafe" ist eindeutig mehr.
Eine kleine feine Bistro-Karte und jeder dieser Snacks ist hausgemacht und lecker.
Natürlich ist es wunderbar nur bei einem Getränk den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen aber das wäre ein Fehler
Ein junger motivierter Besitzer der viel Liebe und Freundlichkeit investiert.
Ich finde, im Gegensatz zu den teuren Touristen-Cafes an der Küstenlinie ist dieses hier nicht überteuert und definitiv günstiger als wenn man z.B. in Deutschland lebt
Wer natürlich meint, für kleines Geld Exklusivität zu bekommen, der sollte nicht vergessen, dass Menschen auch von etwas leben müssen, wenn die Saison zu Ende ist...
Und an alle Down-Voter:
Wenn ich auf Nachfrage einen Preis "verstehen will" der deutlich weniger als 1/3 des Landesüblichen liegt, dann sollte ich mir Mal Gedanken machen.
Döner in Berlin für 1 Euro würde ich ja auch nicht glauben

Drove a lot to get to the village, was the only place open, but I have to say, I had the best Robalo, Grilled shrimp and almond pudding. Will definitely come back and I definitely recommend this place! Very nice. And very good service! Thank you

Quando chegámos ficámos desconfiados, face à apresentação do Café. Mas, todos os pratos para petiscar (camarão, salada e pataniscas de polvo , mexilhões e robalo do mar)que pedimos, estavam divinais. Recomendo.A repetir.

Don't be taken back by the simple and old hut-like house.
Great fish and seafood, amazing panoramic view of the dramatic ocean cliffs, humble and decently priced.
Great service, English speaking.
Must try - the octopus salad and the grilled prawn (not cheap but really big) which is sliced open and very tasty.
note that it's closed on Mondays out of the July-August season

Lokal sezonowy, otwarty tylko w lipcu i sierpniu. Widoki piękne, jedzenie być może dobre, ale nie mieliśmy okazji spróbować. Po dobrych piętnastu minutach czekania przy stoliku na obsługę, zrezygnowaliśmy. Trudno jest czekać godzinę aż ktoś nas zauważy. Prośba bezpośrednio przy barze nie pomogła. Nadal byliśmy ignorowani...

O espaço é único e incrível, um ambiente muito íntimo e familiar com uma vista fenomenal para o oceano aconselho a irem ao fim do dia e visualizarem o pôr do sol enquanto desfrutam da comida deliciosa. Melhor lugar onde já comi, a comida é caseira e o atendimento é excelente mais a companhia dos nossos amigos de 4 patas ( existem vários gatos ). Parabéns pelo espaço! Fiquei encantada!

Vistas fantásticas, grande gin & tónico e salada de polvo deliciosa! O staff é super simpático. É um café/ restaurante pequeno mas o peixe grelhado e marisco tem muito bom aspecto. Local óptimo também para uma bebida e petisco ao por do sol!

Impossível não gostar deste local, um autêntico balcão sobre o oceano com o por do sol de fundo, comida petisqueira boa e staff bem simpático, a não perder se estiver por perto principalmente ao por do sol de suspender a respiração

Terras met een adembenemend uitzicht. Informeel restaurant met lekker eten en het is absoluut niet duur. Ooievaars met nesten op de rotsen laten hun paragliding kunsten zien. Een plek om voor om te rijden en om nooit te vergeten.

My absolute favorite outdoor place on earth. Amazing view, genuine locals extremely friendly, no frills. Have a Sagres with some peanuts :), a Gin or the freshest grilled fish. No matter what, the view is absolutely amazing.

Encontrei por acaso o Café Palhinhas, numa noite de Junho, perto das 22h. O local parecia frequentado apenas pelos pescadores locais, mas fui bem recebido e, apesar da hora tardia, servido. Pedi uma salada de camarão e uma tosta de atum. Achei os pratos um bocado... ingénuos, pouco criativos. A salada de camarão resumia-se, no fundo, a uma simples salada de alface, tomate e cebola, com cinco rodelas de pepino e cinco (saborosos) camarões, sem molho. A tosta, de bom tamanho, trazia apenas atum (enlatado) e uma folha de alface (quente, naturalmente), sem molho. Não morri de fome, mas não é refeição que hei-de recordar com saudade. Infelizmente, por ser noite, não pude usufruir da magnífica vista do local. Também não experimentei os cocktails. Mas conheci o Arnaldo, a mascote do café. Acima de tudo, valeu a simpatia e hospitalidade do pessoal, em especial do rapaz que nos serviu, o Samuel Nobre.

Besitzer wirft Müll vom Tisch einfach in die Bucht, statt den Tisch abzudecken und ist sehr unfreundlich und unhygienisch!
