We had a great time at Mar Azul. The food (chicken jalfrezi) was delicious and spicy, the Momo entree was also perfect. Thank you for perfect food after a long hike :-)

Never tasted anything more traditional than this! We tried both the Indian and Nepalese menue. If you destiny is going to take you to Almograve just eat there. Great food, great staff!

Sehr nettes Restaurant mit authentisch nepalesischer Atmosphäre.
Wir haben hier sehr gut gegessen. Das Tandoori Chicken habe ich zurückgehen lassen, mit Entschuldigung der Küche konnte ich anstandslos nach-bestellen.
Ich gehe sicherlich wieder hin

Fantastic Nepalese/Indian restaurant in the middle of Costa Vicentina. Better than the ones in the big cities. Excellent food, cheap prices and a wonderful service. I highly recommend it

El servicio es pésimo. El servicio de comidas es muy, muy lento. El camarero es simpático, pero no habla bien portugués, sólo habla bien en inglés, o sea, si no hablas un inglés razonable, no vayas. La comida está bien, si adoras el curry, porque si no, sólo sabe a curry. Estuvimos más de una hora para comer un plato y una sopa, horrible. Si vieran un chiringuito español, a la velocidad que sirven, se desmayarian. La comida fué cara para la cantidad y el servicio. No pusieron el aire acondicionado, a pesar de que habia mucho calor en el local. Me pareció muy caro y mal atendido. Felicidades a todos los que tuvieron la suerte de ser bien atendidos yo no lo fuí y no voy a volver.

Came here for dinner one night during our walk of the Rota Vicentina. Nice friendly staff working here. The food was really nice here. We ordered a Chicken Korma, (€9) Lamb tikka masala (€9.50) and a plain naan (€1.50). All dished were tasty. Moderately prices restaurant with good service.

Certainement le meilleur restaurant d'almograve. Les plats sont très bons, copieux et peu chers.
Pour deux personnes entrées / plats / vin / eau nous en avons eu pour 30€. Je recommande si vous êtes de passage

Such a surprise to find a quality Nepalese restaurant in such a small town. Good food, nice people. Just what we needed after a long hike!

The tasted was not good .. it's burn and you have to take some time .. it's take away you have too think it .. over all it's pretty good!

Restaurante simpático de cozinha indiana e nepalesa.
Provei tofu com pimentos e cebolas em molho de tomate, estava bom. Para quem aprecia este tipo de cozinha recomendo pois na área onde se encontra é o único.

Comida razoável mas não me pareceu fiel ao esperado, o Momo parece ter sido aquecido, ou seja não era fresco, ou então a massa era demasiado grossa.
Puseram os papadum e molhos a impingir sem perguntar se queríamos. Pakoras demasiado fritas. Comunicação duvidosa.

Unforgettable kindness, meal and experience!! My husband and I are walking the Rota Vicentina and our hotel (Natura Maris) recommended this unique restaurant and we had been craving Indian so we gave it a try and OMG it was INCREDIBLE. We shared the Lamb korma and the traditional Nepalese sampling plate (recommend b our waiter) + mushroom soup + ginger tea (amazing!) + the carrot dessert + the mango sorbet... and WOW. Our waiter/ the owner was so kind, he even brought us a plate of fresh blueberries grown locally to try. An absolute must eat type of place. We both already want to return! Oh! AND we got 2 samosas to go for lunch on the trail! The veggie was our favorite. Incredible flavors and all well priced. Muito Obrigada! ❤️

Habe dort sehr gut gegessen. Sehr freundliches Ambiente. Empfehlenswert wenn man einmal keine portugiesische Küche mag und man speist in einem familiär geführten Restaurant.

This restaurant makes amazing Indian and Nepalese VEGETARIAN and GLUTEN FREE food. The man who runs it is super lovely. So lovely, in fact, he offered to drive us back to our hotel! You must try the ginger tea... it's like nothing you've had before.

Highly recommended! As lovers of indian and nepalesian cuisine we had to check out this restaurant since we also got a recommendation from our hotel owner (natura maris). It was outstanding, especially the vegetarian options we appreciated very much! We also took some Take-away Samosas for our next-day hike. The very attentive and friendly service made it a nice experience!

Recomendo. Boa comida nepalesa e indiana. Ótimo para quem nunca provou esta comida tão deliciosa. Aconselho os pães naan de queijo e os de alho, chamuça de vegetais também é muito boa. Família simpático e sítio muito acolhedor. Gostámos muito!

What a restaurant! Lovely service and extremely delicious food! We ordered chicken and prawns (both Tika Masala) + naan. Additionally, we got three types of sauce as a starter and some refreshing anise at the end! Amazing experience. Highly recommended! Hope to eat there again.
