We visited Alento last weekend and honestly was a very good surprise at all levels. To anyone that like to see the stars and enjoy a good service in a restfull scenario this is the spot! Thank you the hospitality and will to make this experience unique. I will come back for sure on my next holidays in Portugal!

Ubicación privilegiada en un alto, con inmejorables vistas y rodeado de naturaleza. Trato exquisito y lleno de detalles..Habitación estupenda y desayuno completo. Piscina espectacular. Lugar ideal para hacer senderismo y rutas en bici. Muy recomendable para el que quiera sentir el silencio. Volveremos.

Local super sossegado no alto de um monte.. Piscina infinita virada pra natureza.. Como fica "distante" das localidades é pena que não tenha, nem que pequeno mas, serviço de bar. As condições em geral são muito boas e a decoração está muito bonita :)

Um sítio que faz jus ao nome! O Monte do Alento é uma experiência a repetir. Confortável, repousante, inspirador. Ideal para retemperar forças e descansar. O serviço é simpático e competente. Voltaremos.

Um verdadeiro paraíso no Alentejo Comunhão perfeita entre a natureza alentejana e o conforto dos quartos e dos espaços comuns. Pequeno-almoço variado e uma piscina infinita soberba. A repetir!!!!

Muito mau...desde acessos, a pequeno almoço e quarto para dois casais que para ir ao WC tem que se incomodar um deles .. entre outros , mas o meu comentário está feito no Booking..e as fotos dizem tudo..

Um excelente local para recuperar energias da loucura do dia a dia das grandes cidades! O sossego e a calma característicos do interior alentejano, são um excelente "reset" para o corpo e para a mente...

We have just spent one night at Monte do Alento. It was an amazing experience. Firstly we had reserved a double room but on arrival we’re upgraded to a Family Room which was huge! The rooms were lovely with a super comfy bed, nice living area with sofas, and kitchenette with full size fridge and dishwasher. Each room has bikes outside assigned and guests are encouraged to cycle the grounds which are vast and so picturesque. The grounds are beautifully.There is so much to do here and we would love to return on late Summer to make more use of the outdoor activities which are plentiful...horse riding, canoeing, pedalos, swimming pool, sun terraces. If you’re looking for somewhere laid back where you’re not on top of all the other guests and opportunities for lovely walks, cycling and chilling Monte do alento is for you! We can’t wait to go back for more!

Monte do alento have lovely comfortable rooms and suites in a rural setting. All the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Nice peaceful retreat after a long drive or a stay in a city. It is a bit isolated, but the hotel is not far from a small city Ourique, which seemed to have some interesting views. Nice staff. Recommend for a nice break from travel.

Fabuleux Guest house en campagne. Hôtes très sympathiques et accueillants. Magnifique piscine à débordement. Délicieux petit déjeuner. Chambre très confortable et propre.

Óptimo local para descansar longe da azáfama da cidade, limpeza impecável.

Muy acogedor. La casa central tiene una chimenea que da mucha vidilla cuando hace frío. Lo recomiendo.

O melhor Turismo Rural do Alentejo!

We loved Monte do Alento! This one has kept the same standard and personality that we fall in love with the first time. Big Thanks to the team for a wonderful place that you love and share with us and big thanks to the staff that makes it so perfect with all the help and services. Monte do Alento we will return.

At Alento you will almost feel like you have the all place for you only many time of the day. Peaceful and with a view of nature like lavender, olive trees all around. Perfect for family with children, big or small. Different activities can be arranged if need it. The rooms are spacious and modern. Bicycle for big too. We will definitely come back to Alento again in our next visit to Portugal and Alentejo.

We were at Monte do Alento for the second time here after 2 years and stil did not change. The same beautiful, peaceful and relaxing place in the middle of nowhere in Alentejo. This place offers a home far away from home. The all family and staff will make your stay so fare way from stress and so enjoyable that you would not like to live this place. You will enjoy the big pool area where you will not need to stress for having a chair or place. Breakfast buffet have all you need to have a solid start of the day with homemade product and served with care.

Fantastic place for a beautiful stay near Castro da Cola. The view over the estate is gorgeous, try to sit on the terrace when the weather allows it because inside is a bit a dime a dozen. You can take a drive to the stables nearby on Equus to see some of the horses. Absolutely worth a drive, we will definitely return to Monte do Alento.

Ótimo local, para quem procura sossego! Cuidado, só dois dos alojamentos dispõem de kitchenette. Pessoal extremamente simpático e solícito. Belas paisagens e bons caminhos para passear. Recebemos a simpática visita de uma raposa todas as noites.

Monte do alento is magic. Our house was large, and very well decorated. The building respect for the surrounding nature. It is located in Alentejo, but travel to Castro da Cola is easily arranged and just a short distance, and none of them have the tag or indicative sign. So If you dont have a GPS on you, are you in the maze to find the Hotel . The staff are just great and helpful. Sleep cradled by the restfulness of the alento landscape and open your window in the morning to a breathtaking view of Castro da Cola. Unique and unusual Special Places to Stay in Alentejo. A good choice for all couples, family or friends Good pool! Good atmosphere… I really liked this Rural Hotel. We will be back soon!

Here on a backroads trip with 8 other couples. Magnificent pool setting, lovely rooms and very attentive service. Not inexpensive but well worth the experience. You can see the Castro da Cola castle ( well with a visit). We will return soon!

What a beautiful place at Alentejo - Ourique! Super clean and well preserved, beautiful views, quiet, with a wide variety of activities to choose from, bikes, walking trail, great breakfast and an infinite swimming pool. I will return do "alento".

If you’re looking for a place to enjoy the nature and need a place to stay for trekking tours this one is more than perfect! The apartment was clean and the hosts were really nice. The breakfast was small but enough! The infinity pool with the view is definitely worth the visit! We definitely would come back!

Muito bom! Ideal para descansar e aproveitar o sossego do monte e o calor na piscina num fim de semana. Excelente quarto, muito confortável e espaçoso. Excelente casa de banho! Tudo limpo e decorado com bom gosto. Bom pequeno almoço e uma sala espectacular para convívio. O acesso ao local é em terra batida e cheio de buracos, e obriga a lavar o carro após a estadia! O staff é muito simpático e prestável. Recomendo!
