I spent an entire day surfing with Sergio and it was one of the best experiences surfing that I have ever had. I've lived in Santa Cruz California for 2 years and embarrassingly hadn't picked up surfing. I'm so glad that I took a lesson with him and only wish I had planned my trip to spend more time and stay at his hostel. The second day Sergio rented me a board and told me exactly where to go. The spot was so good that my snobby LA surfer friend regretted not coming out with us the first day. Sergio did a great job correcting my bad habits and within an hour I was catching waves on my own and riding with more control. We had lunch at a small local bar/restaurant and I got to see a side of Portugal that you don't get walking up and down the tourist streets. If I ever make it back I'm definitely hitting him up! While I did not stay at the Villa I spent some time there. He was getting it ready for summer season and it looked great. Very chill yard with lights and a hammock. Also a large dinner table for communal meals.

We‘ve been to Alentejo Surfcamp one month ago and stayed for 3 nights with two days of surf classes. It was an absolutely fantastic experience trying to catch some waves with Sergio! He‘s not only a very good surf instructor but also a very friendly, openminded host who made our holiday very special. It felt like home :) We will come back for sure!

Fui bem recebida, mas falta mais organização do alojamento, limpeza.. E faria uma recuperação no imóvel! Já bastante degradado!

The place is nice, but it's not well organized. It is kind of a mess. A lot of things are broken and it is really dirty.

Nice, relaxed, personal, small Surfcamp & hostel. When I was there four very nice volunteers kept everything clean and friendly and funny. The owner (Sergio) makes you feel welcome and at home. The surf teacher (Andrej) brought us to beaches that suited the conditions and our levels and had a good eye for everything, so that you can improve your skills. Vila nova de Milfontes is a nice little town. The beach at the river is really good for relaxing & swimming. I can highly recommend to go there.

Great place and great people, I had a very nice experience learning surf basics with two dedicated instructors whom did not hesitate to spend 4 hours a day in the ocean to teach first timers like me. Excellent.

we booked three days of surf camp which were very nice. Sergio, the instructor, takes good care of everybody. we were both beginners and got a good insight within those days. the other guests were very nice, everything is very easy going. we stayed at the accommodation quinta boavista, which is nice when you're coming as a couple. this accommodation is only 1 min walking from the surf school. all in all super nice experience.

Very nice host, very friendly atmosphere. The rooms are simple but provides everything thats neccessary. Theres a kitchen where you can cook. We had a beautiful stay! (:
