I stayed here in June 2019 and had a wonderful time. The bungalow had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay - and the pool was pure delight. I can't describe how magical it was swimming in a natural pond with wildlife. The views are far reaching countryside on all sides and the silence (aside from the lovely frogs at night) is breathtaking. You will need to hire a car, and have a good Satnav, to get around. The neighbourhood is not at all touristy so if you're looking for a lively holiday with lots to do on the doorstep you may need to look elsewhere. But if, like me, you're looking for peace and quiet but with good access to shops & restaurants (half an hour's drive) then this is the place. The hosts were perfect too. If I come back to Portugal, I will definitely stay here again.
