Nicolas was SO SWEET to offer our group of 3 a FREE tent along with a double sleeper, since they didn't have a van available that sleeps 3 (because we wanted to book suuuper last minute)! What a kind and generous offer!!!

Hello everybody, we had a wonderfull two weeks driving through beautiful Portugal with our brand new rented VW-T6 from Siesta Campers. From booking until bringing back the car everything went smooth. Nous avons reserve 15 jours en mai 2019 un van california avec siesta camper nous avons pu les avoir tres facilement par mail et sms avant notre séjour pour poser nos questions ET la reponse était toujours rapide et pertinente . La réception de notre van À l aller comme au retour Ç est très bien passée, disponible , flexible rien a dire . Nous avons eu un van tres bien équipé et propre roulant tres bien . Il était tres bien équipé. Nous avons dormi À 3 ou 4 dedans sans difficulté nous avons parcouru 2500 km ET avons visité l Espagne ET le Portugal nous avons facilement trouve ou dormir au bord de la mer . Bref voyage inoubliable sans encombre avec une équipe à l écoute disponible et parlant français. Si vous devait choisir une société ET être Sur de ne pas avoir de souci vous pouvez partir avec siesta camper .nous repartirons avec eux Ç est Sur .

Brilliantly equipped, clean camper. Very professional service, and very fair - we had a few cosmetic scratches for which we would have been charged massively by another company, but Siesta were very kind and understanding.

We rented a T6 California and are very satisfied with what we got and our trip! The van was as good as new and we really enjoyed our trip. Staff at Siesta Campers is very friendly and helpful and wants to make your trip the best possible experience for you. We can only recommend exploring Portugal with a van and would choose Siesta Campers again!

I have hired both Classic vans and Californias from Siesta campers and can only say good things about them. They are a very friendly and helpful family firm who can't do enough to help your holiday be the best possible. I have used other companies in Portugal who sometimes seem cheeper but by the time the bill is sorted its normally as much and the service is as good as none existent. Do yourself a favour and have a fabulous holiday in Portugal travelling where you wish in a Siesta Campers van. I believe it is now possible to pick up in Lisbon and Porto which is a great addition. Fully recommend

On a loué un van pour une durée de 10 jours de Lisbonne et Faro. Nous avons été ravis de notre roadtrip. Le van transporter est parfait pour 2 adultes. Tout le confort nécessaire et facile à conduire.

We rented a modern T6 model becourse of a longer trip to Lisbon. Everything was as expected. Maybe one thing was not.. we were picked up on airport Sunday morning 2hrs before schedule and their opening hours....it was really kind..thank you!

Be aware!!! This is the kind of experience that is going to change your life! When my wife first come up with the idea of renting a vintage van for our visit in algarve I was hesitating. I was from Canada and had no experience driving in Europe and all of sudden I have to drive a vintage van during precious vacation in unknown territory? I was nervous, what if it broke down? What if I had an accident? But after coming back from it, all I think of is I have to buy a westfalia! The experience was so great! The reservation process was nice and smooth and Claire was very helpful and attentive, she tried really hard to give us the van that we wanted. The pickup and drop off was really easy and smooth (a side flip up table was broken during our trip but they said it was going to happen and did not charge me anything). The van was in good condition and fun to drive on the country road in Algarve. It was not easy to maneuver given there's no power steering nor power brake nor anything like that, but it went anywhere we want it to, without much effort. Parking is easy to find too (we actually parked in an underground parking lot in Lagos thanks to the low profile of the van), filling the water tank can be done at any gas station. The living space was functional and comfortable. We cooked many meals on the seaside cliffs and enjoyed our sleeps under starry sky snuggling comfortably in the van. Back then, my wife was five months pregnant and my daughter is turning two years old. Traveling in a van actually gave us tons of flexibility and comfort since we could cook anywhere, and nap anytime. So I would highly recommend Siesta Campers for you vacation in Algarve

Super expérience avec Siesta Campers, nous avons loué un california à Lisbonne pour remonter sur ERICEIRA et NAZARE. Le van était nickel et fonctionnel, transfert vers l'aéroport très agréable. Je recommande vivement Siesta Campers, aussi pour son rapport qualité prix.

Honestly the best car I’ve ever rented, let alone camper van. We rented a modern one and it was in exceptional condition. The communication of this company was outstanding and they were availvle for question during the whole trip. They took the time to explain us everything at pick up, which was great, because it was our first time camping. It will definitely not be the last.

Totally recommended. Great communication all throughout our trip (thank you Nicolas!), we were also given a solid briefing about the camper van, the vehicle was completely new and on our way back Claire was very keen on hearing our feedback, my guess is that this company is only going to get better. Go for it, Siesta Campers and Portugal exceeded our expectations.

Great way to explore Portugal. Modern VW van is small enough to be used like a car but big enough for a family of 4 for a week. It is also discreet so doesn’t attract attention like an RV.

Van in great condition, worked a treat and no issues. Don't let the pick-up/drop-off location worry you. Although it's just a garage by the railway station, it is all legitimate and the staff friendly. Would recommend.

We had a great week with a VW T6 from Siesta Campers! Everything was in really good condition. Even coffee and spices were on board! Excellent service, reachable via WhatsApp. Just perfect :)

We hired a California T6 for five nights. Everything was excellent. Basic supplies for food preparation etc were available. Vasco in Porto was excellent to work with and very helpful. Thanks so much for an awesome adventure Siesta Campers!

The vans get 5 stars, the workers get 0, so split the difference. I did a couple of relocations for this company and their communication is terrible. The day before my relocation from Faro to Lisbon I get an email from Pedro which has the wrong date but correct time for pickup and offers to pick me up from the train station within business hours. I write back that my pickup is tomorrow at that time, not next week, but yes we will meet you at the train station tomorrow at noon. He replies back, "Great, my colleague Pauline will call you soon." I never get a call from Pauline and by then the office is closed. At noon I am at the station waiting for pickup and there is no one. I call the office and Claire says, "Oh we had you down for a rental at 2 (my rental was for 1pm) and your van will definitely not be ready at 1. I'll call you back." I receive no call back. At 1 (my documented pickup time) I call again and Claire says there's an issue with the van. I ask how long she expects it to take as I've been waiting at the station for 1.5 hours at this point since Pedro agreed to pick me up from there. She says she hopes by 2pm but no vans are ever ready before 2 so it doesn't matter to her that I've been waiting because that's not included in the time. She says not to call her, she will call me when it's ready. Another hour and a half later (my waiting time outside the train station in the sun is 3 hours at this point) she calls me and says the van is on its way. I go around back to the back of the station and pick up the van from Pauline and perhaps Pedro? Still not sure who he is at this point. Claire also shows up later and is apparently the owner. The staff advise me not to take toll roads and instead take national roads, so when I inquired about the mileage allowance Claire rudely informed me that I would be charged extra miles according to the relocation agreement. Amazing how she wants to stick to the agreement when it benefits her but not when it says I could pick up the van and I didn't leave the lot until 2:45pm. I asked where and when precisely to drop off the van in Lisbon and they said the Lisbon office would call me. Of course they didn't call me, I had to call them. The vans are really new and nicely equipped, no complaints there. And the staff aside from the owner were really friendly but no one ever knew what was going on and no one contacted me when they said they would. I personally would not do another relocation or book from them again.

One of the most beautiful experience ever ! It was a real dream ! Thanks to Siesta Campers for providing a great van and a great service.. The Van are made with love and you can feel it ! Passionate team with cool people ! Our travel was amazing filled up with love and good energy ! Portugal is the sweetest country and travelling over June was amazing ! Thank you !

The people from Siesta Campers are very helpful. The camper was brand new and everything we needed was thought of!
