It is illegal and a shame the amount of hours that their employees work. There are Auditors working 16 hours a day all the week, working on weekends and EY keep pushing them to work more and more in this situation, with a kind of brainwashing threat. They don't care at all with their personal life, health and happiness. Auditors, managers and new joiners you also must to do your own part on this, not accepting this enormous and constant abuse of unpaid and harmful overworking.
