Such an awesome place to stay! Wonderful location. Very clean and facilities, awesome people and really cool to chill out. Love the wine and met such wonderful people.

perfect place! magnificent hosts. the atmosphere is the like at home. The beach Guincho is close, amazing 'mountains and ocean view. Also, I want to note the design of the guest house: there are a lot of common places where you can retire or, conversely, get together with the company. Love you, guys!

Wayra house is in a peaceful setting (only a short stroll to the beach), the hosts are lovely, breakfast was healthy and nourishing and the rooms and bathroom were comfortable and clean.

Probably the best place I ever stayed on my trip yet. Amazing place with great hosts, the view is beautiful and there’s many activities you can choose from. Definitely going back!

We stayed at the house for 3 nights and booked the yoga and climbing package. Everything was perfect organized, we had professional instructors (all of them were perfect). Laura is an excellent and fun host. The house was very clean and it is only 20/25 min walk to Guincho beach. We are planning to come back :-)

This hostel is some kind of oasis!! From the many hostels I have stayed in, this one is simply the best. The house is located on the edge of Sintra natural park and 20 minutes walking in a beautiful forest from the spectacular O Guincho beach. Easy reach to Lisbon too. You can do kitesurf, surf, rent a bike, ride horses, hike... or simply relax listening to the classy jazz and bossa nova that normally plays in the living room. Last but not least, the owner is a very welcoming person who really enjoys what she is doing and likes to take guests for dinner, help them organizing activities, etc. Special mention also for the yoga instructor; she transmits peace and is a delightful person.

The venue of GWR is great, albeit a bit far from town and away from amenities and places to vist. Public transport is readily available which helps. Staff have good contacts for lessons in kite surfing and surfing. That is all the good that can be said of GWR. The real downside is in the management of the place...if you want to treated as a child subject to many rules and a persons whims, this is the place to be. I would certainly not visit it again.
