Buen lugar pero deficiente servicio! Durante mi estadía de 8 días, compartí los primeros 4 en el cuarto de 6 camas, y los otros restantes en una habitación matrimonial. Ambas camas limpias y cómodas, como la casa entera. Un agradable balcón y terraza donde pega el sol. Los baños también limpios y espaciosos. El desayuno formidable, saludable y suficiente, las voluntarias prepararon cada día una torta, muy sabrosas. Las 4 voluntarias, no entendí para que tantas, pese a sus tortas, no nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos, no todas pero 3 de ellas, más que suficiente. Eran bastante ruidosas y desconsideradas con los huéspedes, podría esperar algo así de otros huéspedes pero no del personal que trabaja allí. No creo que vuelva, ni tampoco que lo recomiende. Gracias de todas maneras! Las clases de surf son con la escuela Search School, Excelentes! Tanto profesionalmente como personal. Amables y dispuestos a colaborar. Me ayudaron mucho a mejorar mi surf, con ellos repetiré con toda seguridad! Gracias y hasta la próxima!

great hostel with nice hosts, clean bathrooms, delicious breakfast and cosy beds... pick up service to surf lessons with cool guides at the beautiful beach... you can get to Lisboa/Bélem pretty easy and cheap...less than 10 minutes to Caparica beach or town centre, nice restaurants in the neighborhood (Fornace Pizzeria, Sushi Paradise)

A surfers paradise!! One of the best places to stay and learn surfing. If you are looking for a family atmosphere, awesome food, kind people, clean accommodations, new friends and waves this is where you need to go!

The surf hostel was fantastic! Extremely clean - bathrooms especially were luxurious for a hostel. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of common space that made socializing with other guests easy and fun. Staff and volunteers were really sweet and made the experience even better! Surf lessons were really fun and went really well! Everyone improved a ton! Definitely recommend. Only downside is that there is no air-conditioning so if you are sensitive to temperature when you sleep, etc. this might not be the place for you.

Absolut empfehlenswerte Location, die super nah am Surfspot CDS liegt. Der Service war unglaublich gut und alle waren sehr bemüht um uns. Das BBQ war ein Traum und die Surfbretter, die zum Ausleih vorhanden sind, sind in einem top Zustand. Wir haben an zwei Tagen den Intermediate Surfkurs mitgemacht, weil vor Ort die Wellen zu groß waren. Das hat sich mega gelohnt und auch Preis Leistung ist super fair. Die Bäder und Zimmer waren immer sauber und alles in allem ist das Surfhouse super gemütlich.

The location of the surf house is perfect. It's only a few minutes walk to the ocean. You can wake up in the morning, take your board and be the first in the water. The house itself is very clean, and the living room with the vintage surfboard and arts makes you feel at home. Luis' famous fish barbecue is something everyone should try! And the volunteers are awesome people :) Would recommend it to everyone!

I have such amazing memories from my time at Lost Caparica! I made friends during my stay that I hope to have for the rest of my life. The surf house is beautiful, always clean and full of happy visiters, and the surrounding area is stunning It is a sunny paradise!! I can't wait to visit again.

Relatively close to the beach and the breakfast was nice. However, what was a bit unpleasant is that the price on the website, through which I made the reservation, did not correspond to the price I had to pay upon arrival. It's like ordering something off a menu in a restaurant, and eventually getting different prices on your receipt.

This is for sure the best surf house I’ve been to in Portugal. Top notch accommodation, the most amazing breakfast you can imagine, excellent cooking facilities and chill out areas inside and even more so outside behind the house. Enjoy yoga which is included in your stay every morning to get you started for your surf day. You can either join surf classes with the best teachers you can get or just grab your board and walk barefoot to the beach which is just 5 mins away. The location is perfect in a nice residential area with a great variety of restaurants and bars nearby. If you want to explore Lisbon just hop on a bus+ferry. Last but not least what makes Lost Caparica so special are the owners and the staff who make you feel welcome and at home the minute you arrive. Once you’ve been a guest, you’ll always return

We stayed in Costa Caparica last june. The surfhouse is a lovely place to stay, chill, surf and do yoga. All staff made us feel welcome. I enjoyed the early yoga lesson and the very good breakfast buffet with fresh fruit and soy milk was served at the charming terasse. The big outside dining table gave us a familiar atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon.

I really enjoyed my stay at Lost Caparica Surf House. Rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The breakfast is excatly what you need for a day of surfing. And most importantly, the staff makes sure that you feel at home at their guesthouse. I would totally come back here!

I stayed here for a week and I was really disappointed. They have false advertising on their internet web page.. Unfortunately the owners did not want to talk about the matter in person. They have prices on the internet page different than what they actually charge. I had to pay the double of what is on their web page so if you wanna go there be careful about this. The personal (volunteers) are really nice but they change constantly so unfortunately you won't meet the same people. They also said that they offer transfer from the hostal to the surf school, but they only offer it once in the morning if you do 2 surf lessons per day. The surf school is more than 1 km far away and you will have to walk this probably often. They don't offer transfer to the school on the weekend so you have to walk. Actually I was disappointed about this hostal, there is very few flexibility and as I said the prices are not the same as on their website. I talked with a couple that was staying also at the time and they were also very disappointed..the only good thing is the breakfast they offer. They do not Really did the barbecue that they promised.. So false advertising again..

The Lostcaparica is a great place. We loved their style & their breakfast. Its location is perfect. We would love to come back for another stay!

Stayed for a couple of days at this lovely little surf house. The rooms are small but the beds are comfy, and the shared areas are really nicely done. On Saturdays they have an awesome BBQ.
