Great spot for a surf holiday. Costa da Caparica is a really nice neighbourhood close to the centre of Lisbon. The area is not so crowded and quite 'laid back'. Eva and Zoli are super friendly hosts and who love to tell you all about Lisbon's hotspots. Zoli teaches the surf lessons and you can tell that he is a very experienced instructor with a great passion for surfing. The hostel itself is basic, but has everything you need and has also some self made stuff which I really liked. Will definitely visit again!!

The Magnet Projects is everything you need for a great surf experience! Next to that, Eva & Zoli are the best hosts, who make you feel comfortable and very at home at the guesthouse. The every day surfing lessons are enjoyable and good, first lesson I was already standing on my board! I’m definitely coming back. Big recommendation!

Nice place to stay and felt very welcome with Eva en Zolly. The breakfast after the surf lessons where delicious! Most important is that the atmosphere in the hostel is super relaxt and lovely.

The Magnet house is my happy place! Lovely vibes, beautiful people! Professional hospitality, practical surf lessons. <3 I recommend it to both beginners and advanced surfers. :)

Al twee keer een heerlijke zomervakantie gehad bij The Magnet Projects. ‘s Morgens vroeg op om te surfen en door de goede en geduldige lessen van Zoltan kon zelfs ik even op de plank blijven staan. Daarna hongerig aan een goed verzorgd ontbijt. Het huis is knus en gezellig, je voelt je er direct thuis. De combinatie van een sportieve ochtend, de gezelligheid van de groep, de vrijheid in de middag om te ontspannen in het rustige Caparica, naar het bruisende Lissabon of de vele andere leuke stadjes en strandjes in de omgeving, maakte het een fantastisch gevarieerde vakantie. Eva en Zoltan zijn hele fijne gastvrije mensen en ik kan bijna niet wachten om Rusty en Ziggy weer te knuffelen.

I had an amazing time here and don't want to leave! Thank you for the lovely warm welcome and all the help during my stay. The room was nice and cool and very clean. I wanna come back for sure!

The couple hosting and organising everything are super cool and friendly, and they also know how to teach surf! They had a special gift in providing a really fun atmosphere where all guests would feel like a group of friends. We had a lovely week at Magnet Projects. Breakfasts were soooo good too!
