Novo review passados uns dois ou três anos. O velho está em baixo e permanece verdadeiro e actual. Esta escola de surf chega-se acima e torna-se uma escola de vida. Sem surpresas. Gente boa, sólida, amiga e atenta. Quem quer encontrar rumos, chegou ao sítio certo. Quem quer encontrar o equilíbrio em cima de uma tábua que se move, também. Continuo a falar-vos do ponto de vista de uma pessoa que começou a surfar já com mais de 50 anos. Só lamento os anos que perdi. Abraço, amparo, sabedoria e dedicação. Tudo. Fui por brincadeira, experimentar, fazendo finalmente uma coisa que sempre quis fazer, surfar. Encontrei uma escola de surf exactamente à minha medida. Séria quando é para aprender, descontraída quando é para relaxar. Exigente comigo à medida da minha exigência comigo. Focando em toda a parte técnica do surf, do mar, da acção física, do treino, da maravilhosa actividade que é entrar na água com uma prancha para surfar uma onda. O Gonçalo e a sua equipa são exímios a adaptar a sua sabedoria e exigência às minhas limitações e exigência. Só tenho pena de não ter começado mais cedo, e não poderia encontrar um comandante mais competente e acolhedor do que o Gonçalo e a TimeToSurf. Kudos!

Best surf school ever. The coaches are very professional and meticulous. The class is always divided in small groups so each coach can give attention to everyone. The material is all high grade and the prices are very competitive. There is also a hut/house/storage on the beach to store stuff during the lessons which is great for students to keep their belongings. If a ride to the beach is needed just contact the guys. They also organize surf days in the region, weekends in Sagres and trips abroad. Give it a shot.

Great school and great teachers. The advantages comparing to other schools are that people behind do it with their heart and are also surfers by soul :) On top of that you will have almost always the same coach so your progress is "tracked" and you get also personalized feedback.. well and fun :)

Top! Comecei com a Time to Surf há cerca de 04 anos. Comecei a surfar timidamente com o Gonçalo e a sua fantástica equipa desde então e tem sido uma ‘viagem’ fantástica. Um local onde me apetece sempre regressar. Que me dá confiança e onde reencontro e faço novos amigos, com o mesmo objectivo: Aprender, ou desenvolver e curtir o surf e o Oceano, em segurança e em constante aprendizagem. Ainda não tive oportunidade de me juntar às surftrips e aos surfcamps, mas estará para breve. Os meus filhos entretanto também já são habituees e juntam-se de vez em quando às aulas e usufruem também das colónias de férias na Páscoa ou Verão. Segurança e diversão garantidas.

Ótimo sítio para aprender surf. O Gonçalo é super atencioso com adultos e crianças e muito motivador. Sempre atento, explica tudo na perfeição e é incansável em manter toda a gente a surfar. Desde o básico à etiqueta entre surfistas, ler o mar e aprender como se formam as ondas, o Gonçalo tudo ensina com gosto.

İlk sörf denememizde Gonçalo ve David bizimle çok güzel ilgilendiler ve karada kısa süren bir eğitim ve güvenlik alıştırmalarının ardından bizi asıl eğlenceli kısım olan dalgalara bıraktılar. Time to Surf ekibi ders vermek için dalga açısından farklı seviyelere hitap eden, ancak kalabalık olmayan güzel bir yer seçmiş. Her bir dalgayı yakalamamız veya yakalayamamamızdan sonra nelerin güzel olduğunu ve neleri değiştirmemiz gerektiğini bize güzelce açıkladılar. Sadece sörf yapmada değil, sörf eğitmenliğinde de çok deneyimli oldukları belli olan hocalarımız bizimle yaklaşık 2 saat yakından ilgilendiler ve ders sonrasında Gonçalo bize Portekiz tatilimiz için faydalı önerilerde bulundu. Yolumuzu mutlaka bir daha Costa da Çaparıca'ya düşürüp Gonçalo ve Time to Surf ekibiyle tekrar sörf yapacağız! Gonçalo ve ekibini sörf yapmayı ilk defa deneyimleyecek olan veya kendini geliştirmek isteyen herkese öneririz. We really enjoyed surfing for the first time thanks to Gonçalo and his team. They are very experienced, also passionate about surfing and teaching it. We recommend Time to Surf to everyone who wants to try surfing for the first time or to improve their skills. My husband, 10 year old son, and I had one morning of surfing lessons. Very capable and friendly instructor got us feeling comfortable and up on our boards... So, despite the poor waves, fin was had by all! Good email communication before the lesson. Fair price for what ended up being a private lesson for us.

This School has provided me the best Surf Experiences of my life. I started learning surf with them. The teachers are really supportive and monitor your evolution and despite of your surfing level they always teach you something. Now I live far away from the school, but I still do the extra km to go to their lessons.

Excellent surf school with very dedicated and helpful teachers. The classes are on a beach with great conditions, and the boards and suits are of great quality.

Great surf school! We were total beginners and we had a great time! Would reccomend to anyone visiting Lisbon to try to surf. Also the beach is totally safe, no rocks and in september (when we had our lessons) there were great waves as well. Our teacher Goncalo was awesome.

We spent 5 days at the lodge with daily surfing. Gonçalo is an extremely knowledgeable teacher; attentive and encouraging and incredibly helpful. Praia da Mata is a lovely beach. The lodge was a perfect base. Very enjoyable holiday.
