Magnifica finca , unos dueños muy acogedores y amables , la habitación era un poco pequeña pero dormí de lujo sin ruidos.LO RECOMIENDO :) y al lado de todas las estaciones !

Es un sitio con mucho encanto. Nuestra habitación olía un poco a humedad, pero a pesar de eso, merece la pena. El trato es inmejorable, el desayuno estaba muy bueno, y se respira tranquilidad! El llegar y aparcar

Las habitaciones olían a humedad, tanto que la estancia allí se hizo muy desagradable. El desayuno nos lo cobraron a parte y no pudimos ni tomar un café porque la leche estaba en mal estado.

Según mi experiencia en este hotel, no lo recomiendo ya que el desayuno dejaba mucho que desear , la leche estaba en mal estado, olía mal y no había mucha variedad donde elegir. Los productos no eran aptos para su consumo. La calidad mala. No volveremos.

Great stay at such a lovely hotel. The reception is great, we are so used to be given some magnetic key or fob, while Villa dos Poetas Guest House greets you like any hotel should: gives you great recommendations, your keys and puts a smile on your face. I look forward to stay over a few nights.

Absolutely fabulous,loved our stay. The hosts are very welcoming and knowledgeable. Their tips made our experience of Sintra very enjoyable. Our room was clean and spacious. The guesthouse is in a quiet location, but only a few minutes walk from everything. If you travel with your GPS, put in the address and not the name, otherwise you end up at the garden gate.

Despite the great And promising reviews, we were very dissapointed from the Beginning. The approach of the owner: I have never experienced an accomodation, where I would get a penalisation for arriving after 7 pm. Because of this, we had no time to see the beautiful cities on our way during travelling through Portugal. 20€ fine is very exaggerated price, considering the fact that we had to confirm the accomodation one day before And HAD TO let her know one Hour before arriving. In reference to This - the penalisation is quite ridiculous. Breakfast: cheap And poor breakfast compared to the price paid. Prepare for a Bad Coffee/juice And very poor selection of non-quality food = literally Bad Continental breakfast. Also the like-to-be Vintage furnishing is ugly And impractical. I do not recommend This accomodation to anyone. The price does not fit the given quality.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED I truly wish I had booked more than one night here! While Sintra itself is spectacular, I also really enjoyed my hosts at Villa dos Poetas. I’ll admit that I had a difficult time finding the entrance using my rental car’s GPS...but once arrived I was in awe of the beautiful grounds, welcomed by such warmth and generosity, and off to explore the mystical city - which it turns out was a very easy walk away! If I return to Sintra one day (and I hope I do), I will make it a point to return.

I wish I could’ve stayed longer!The staff were all super friendly - and gave me really great recommendations to spend my 1 day in Sintra the best. They also recommended an excellent, less touristy restaurant (Restaurante Regional de Sintra) which had delicious food at a third of the cost of the restaurants by the historic city centre.The Villa’s location is also amazing for anyone staying overnight who wants an easy walk in and out of the town centre - and there are a couple of Uber drivers around so if you’re going to visit Pena Palace or Quinta da Regeleira I recommend getting a lift (especially if you’re love than 1, the total uber price will cost less usually than the local buses) - also a tip courtesy of my hosts that worked out so well.The Villa itself it such an amazing space - it’s a huge house, set up on the hill, with lots of eclectic design and a massive garden; and the continental breakfast was really great!!

The staff were attentive to our needs and able to give a lot of useful information. If you are new to the area you can easily reach this house by train so no rental car is necessary.

Atención del personal muy buena, habitaciones que no cumplieron nuestras expectativas, chicas y baño poco ventilado. Lo mejor si vas en auto es el estacionamiento.

Leuke verblijfplaats met goed ontbijt. Wel harde matrassen, maar dat is blijkbaar de gewoonte in Portugal. Op wandelafstand van het station van Sintra (oud stadsgedeelte).

Eine wunderschöne kleine Villa mit gemütlichen Zimmern und super netten Personal. Die Eigentümerin hat uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben für Restaurants und Unternehmungen. Das Frühstück war toll, für jeden was dabei. Es wurde sehr liebevoll angerichtet und immer aufgefüllt. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen!

The guesthoust had only 3 rooms (they do have 2 cottages in back) and of course ours was on the third floor which mad e it difficult for my wife who has COPD. Staff was very helpful getting our things up and down. Our room was very large and comfortable. It ?was also very modern.Easy walk to stores and easy to catch taxis. Do not let reception call for cap. They will call a car hire which will cost about 3 times what a regular costs.Breakfasts were good and filling.

Vriendelijk en gastvrije eigenaar. Centraal gelegen voor bezoeken van de vele kastelen en Lissabon makkelijk te bereiken met de trein. Treinstation 5 minuten verwijderd van locatie.

A villa é lindíssima, cheia de natureza e numa zona muito calma. A anfitriã (Patrícia) é muito querida e super prestável, o pequeno almoço é muito simpático com a luz matinal a entrar pela sala. Desejosa de voltar!

We were greeted by the owner and her dog. Both, very nice! The location is perfect, its a 5 minute walk from the center of town and another 5 minute walk to the historic part of Sintra. The staff was very accommodating ... would highly recommend this hotel and hope to go again.

Pros: Nice common area, close to train station, walking distance to historical town centre, owners/management very friendly and helpful. Nice seating areas outside with multiple levels- tables and chairs. Pool area nice. Landscaping attractive. Property seems secure with high wall, entry gate, good parking if you have a car. Small neighborhood grocery close by with wine, water some fresh vegetables and staples.Cons: Uphill from train station (not easy walk with luggage or if have a disability- but taxis are available if needed). Some of furnishings were not very functional. Building is quite old and has mold/mildew spotting in certain areas in the room (but it was obvious that place had been repainted). Internet was good, but did have interruptions. Shower very small, we are not large people and we still had problems.
