Excelente localização, equipe de atendimento melhor ainda, simpáticissimos, e dignos de elogios, comida muito boa, porem, demora para entrega dos pratos. Senão fosse por essa demora entre pedido e entrega, eram cinco estrelas !!!

Avoid this restaurant! The owner hates animals! He didn't allow a small dog in the street pavement next to his restaurant when we tried to have a coffee. He thinks the street belongs to him!

Lamentável é o adjectivo que melhor se deverá aplicar. Serviço demorado (um funcionário para cerca de 30 mesas na esplanada) , produtos vendidos a um valor exorbitante para uma qualidade absolutamente normal. Do meu ponto de vista , é de sentir vergonha por ter este tipo de serviço numa montra turística como o tamariz. Desaconselhado.

Right by the beach, but that is one of the few advantages of this place. Service is quite bad. The two times I came here, they switched my orders. Instead of saying "our bad" and replacing the order, they insisted it was our mistake. Twice, on separate occasions. The waiters look like they hate their work. It's a shame, because the view is beautiful.

Started Nice, food good and house wine did serve. Asked for extra 2 glases. Mine filled up, my wife was added with a bit wine... than we knew we were screwed.
Took a coffee alone.. looks from the waiter...
Asked for two ammaretto's... all ok.
I asked for the bill, 76eur. ... paying with MasterCard... amount what was typed in...216eur ... if I did put I my code and pressed ok.... again screwed.
I was angry, gave no tip... , than waiter ware communicating " no tip, no tip,..."
For me... one time, no second...

Guten Tag zusammen,
war heute zusammen mit zwei Freunden dort.
Die Location ist direkt am Meer und somit sehr sehenswert, das wars dann aber auch mit dem Positiven.
Das Abendessen begann damit das uns dreckige (benutzte) Gläser zum Tisch gebracht wurden. Wir reklamierten dies und erhielten neue und dachten uns das das mal passieren könnte. Also warteten wir auf unsere Getränke.
Ich hatte mir ein Sommersby bestellt, allerdings kam dann Sangria ... reklamiert und Sommersby erhalten. War Mittlerweile schon vom Servicepersonal genervt, aber gut, passiert.
Nach unserer Vorspeise (welche sehr gut war) kam der Hauptgang. Zuerst aber nur für meine zwei Freunde, zu mir sagte der Kellner „two minutes“. Aus zwei wurden zwanzig Minuten, sprich als ich zu Essen begann hat meine Begleitung schon gegessen, No-Go!
Das Essen selbst (Lamm) war gut.
Allerdings war das Service so inkompetent das man das Essen Nicht in aller Ruhe genießen konnte. Insgesamt waren die Kellner auch sehr unfreundlich und wirkten gelangweilt.
Ich rate jedem von diesem Restaurant ab!!

Neste restaurant nao Vamos mais voltar pela mentalidade da idade media de nao aceitaram caezinhos na esplanada. Aconselho a todas as pessoas que gostam de animais a nao virem para este restaurant.

Horrible service. Stop at any other bar along the front for a pleasant drink. This place has overpriced drinks and entitled rude staff.
I ordered a non-alcoholic mohito that they recommended (soda and lime juice) but still charged me full price and refused any deduction. When I then asked them to bring the missing liquor for my partner, they refused and told me to pay up.
So unnecessary.

Lugar adorável, em frente a Praia de Tamariz z. Recomendo o Mix de frutos do mar, muito bem servido (comemos em três), e o cheesecake, delicioso !!

The place is nice located but a place to be careful when ordering drinks.
The business is made to cash in on lots of ice.
Bad experience as ordering gin and tonic big nice glad with a half kilo of ice.
A bit gin and lots of tonic
Even when trying to order a normal tall glad with one ice cube and gin tonic then overrule your order and serve again the half kilo of ice.
Even when confronting the waiter he do not listen and changers right order.
After confronting the manager which was nice. And after loosing the mood he finally gave away and suggested a new drink.
But went home.
Make sure if you go there to personally go to the bar mann and control your drink

Llegamos a este restaurante buscando para nuestra estancia en Estoril un lugar de comida portuguesa. Cuando llegamos nos pareció externamente un local de playa a medio gas por ser temporada baja.
Nada más lejos. Un restaurante magnífico, una cocina excepcional, una profesionalidad en el personal, magnífica, una experiencia maravillosa comer viendo el mar bravo casi al lado.
El arroz meloso marinero, un placer de dioses, sin escatimar marisco. El vino Muralha (creo que se escribía así), excepcional, y el pastel de almendras una escalera al cielo.
Y cuidando de todo ello, discreto pero pendiente, amable pero sin empalagos, profesional, el camarero que nos atendió. Merece un plus.
El precio, con servicio y aperitivos, como ya es tradición en Portugal, cercano pero sin llegar a los treinta euros por comensal.

Beautiful view, friendly service. Dishes a bit uneven, grilled fish very nice, bacalao lagareiro very salty, house style bacalao well drained but chewy. Veggies universally soggy. Price is typical for beachfront places.

É mais adequado para jantar porque tem o ambiente mais tranquilo.
Durante o dia é um pouco devassado pelo movimento no paredão.

Experiência muito agradável. Passamos alguns minutos andando na praia e depois paramos neste restaurante (é o de baixo, no nível da praia, não o de cima no terraço com quase o mesmo nome). Foi numa segunda-feira, então não estava muito cheio. Fomos bem atendidos, o senhorzinho deu recomendações ótimas, o lugar não podia ser mais incrível, a comida chegou em tempo razoável, e foi muito gostosa. Pedimos pão com manteiga, azeitonas, limonada, chá de limão, creme de mariscos, bife à pimenta, bife à Tamariz, crema catalana, e cheesecake, e custou 60 euros, que eu achei um preço muito bom pra tudo isso. Recomendaria com certeza.
Very enjoyable experience. We spent a few minutes walking on the beach and then we stopped at this restaurant (it's the one on the lower level, at the level of the beach, not the one on top on the terrace with almost the same name). It was a Monday so it wasn't very full. We were very well received, the kind little man (our server) gave awesome recommendations, the location could not be more incredible, the food arrived in a reasonable time, and it was delicious. We ordered bread with butter, olives, lemonade, lemon tea, shellfish bisque, peppered cream sauce steak, Tamariz steak with a fried egg, creme brulee ice cream, and cheesecake, and it all cost 60 Euros, which I thought was a good price for all that. Would definitely recommend.

Cómida espectacular, servicio excelente, muy atento al cliente vistas hacia el mar y Cascais preciosas, en pleno paseo de playa. Os aconsejo los pescados y mariscos, arroz en su punto y una carne a la piedra que llaman Nacos, con una preparación a la vista, tierna como manteca y sabor como no había probado nunca.
Éxito seguro y rotundo.

Il est actuellement 3h30 du matin et je suis à deux doigts de vomir et mes deux amis aussi. Nous avons pris deux saumons et un steak de thon.
Nous avions émis des réserves sur la qualité des produits lorsque que nous avions vu le menu qui part en lambeaux.
Le saumon était trop gras plus le goût de l’huile que de saumon. Le mojito sans sucre. C’était juste de l’eau gazeuse avec 4 glaçons.
Pour payer c’était le parcours du combattant 20 min pour qu’au final ont ce déplace et qu’on nous donne la mauvaise addition.
En somme le cadre est correcte car face à la mer. Le reste zéro. Et va comprendre pourquoi les serveurs ont changer 3 fois notre cendrier .

A good restaurant. We ordered their traditonale burger and the grilled salmon and pork slices. The food was very good. Their drinks a pretty expensive and the pina colada’s were pretty week but their gin and tonic was pretty amazing. The burger was very good the salmon even better . The pork slices were also pretty good.

I do not recommend this "restaurant" at all, although it is near the beach. I chose a simple lunch, but not tasty at all, frozen french fries, salad with no dressing, burn meat (there are not too many options if you do not want to eat fish). On top of this the waiter asked us to pay also for the service. This is my first experience when a waiter askes directly for this. Of course there are restaurants where the tip is included and the bill is issued also for it, but the tip should be a thing you choose to pay when you are satisfied of the provided service.

This place is a no go due to the very high prices. Food is good but the amount is average.

Well I’ll start with the food . I had been there 2 months ago and the food is not bad . It’s actually pretty reasonable. Nevertheless, you can get much better food (and for a better price), if you walk 300 meters to your left or right . Anyway, the worst thing about this place is the service. They don’t treat dogs proply. Plus, they are the only restaurant/ cafe of the sea walk who does not accept dogs in their outside space. They clap violently and shout when a dog passes by and they don’t treat people well if they are not staying over to spend a good money on a lunch or dinner . I’ve been there three times and the only time I was treated proply was when I spent 80 euros on a lunch . I understand that a business has to make money but a business also needs to have a good service whatever the situation is. zero starts for the lack of professionalism and compassion towards dogs

Accueil basique, mais pas désagréable.
Le pain est payant mais indiqué sur la carte. Pas d'olive ou autre avec le pain en apéritif, bizarre de proposer du pain avec deux carrés de beurre.
Petite bouteille d'eau de 50cl, pas de grand format.
Les calmars sont corrects. Le fromage est bien. Le "steak stone" est sympa. Préparation devant vous d'une pièce de viande rouge cuite sur une pierre très chaude. Puis découpe en tranche pour le repas. Il est possible de maîtriser la cuisson de sa viande, car la pierre reste chaude pendant tout le repas. Viande très tendre et goûteuse. Les frites sont arrivées un tard et pas terribles.
Les dessert, il n'y a aucun intérêt. Dessert industriel. Deux bouteilles d'eau, un "steak on the stone", fromage (entrée), calamars (entrée) et un "romantica" (gâteau glacé) = 55 euro

Bon service, aimable et professionnel, efficace avec 4 serveurs pour notre table, plats excellents (morue grillée et boeuf) et généreux. Cadre sympa face à l'océan. Petite déception sur les desserts qui ne sont que des surgelés industriels de petite taille, mais pas mauvais. Facture très correcte.

Didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on the food there but we rented sun loungers just outside, €6.30 (€7.50 w/end) each for the whole day. The waiters bring you drinks and food (basic sandwiches and salads, all good) to your lounger so you hardly have to get up! Friendly staff, lovely beach setting. Great for getting a tan and having drinks and snacks.

The manager pushed us to order the lobster at 90€, we waited the dishes for 45min, he added 2 beers in the bill and counted 6 pax coverage charge : we were 5 adults with a 1 year old baby who didn't eat. The manager didn't apology at all. We forgot the baby's pacifier on the table. When we got back the manager told us that they through it in the trash bin... Despicable manager. DON'T GO THERE, there are plenty of other restaurants around.

Lovely positioned restaurant with overpriced food and terrible service, don't be fooled by the great location. It was our only bad meal in Portugal and the most expensive. Coupled with that the manager is probably the most miserable git in Portugal!!

The waiters are very rude, rather expensive restaurant. The only water they have is a 33cl plastic bottle!!! Very expensive and definitely not eco-friendly we were a family of six on a very hot day had to order 10 bottles of water. To be avoided

Terrible service even worse food. Rude waiters who act like you being there is a huge inconvenience. Waited 45 minutes for the food to turn up which was almost inedible. The cod was as tough as shoe leather and totally tasteless. We went here as a bit of a treat as it was rather expensive and were sorely dissapointed. Definitely to be avoided. Would have given this review zero stars if it was possible.
