Restaurante a não voltar!!! Empregados mal educados, sem experiência e acima de tudo EDUCAÇÃO para prestarem um serviço de atendimento ao público! Comida mal cozida, nomeadamente os legumes... e no meu caso, pedi uma sopa de marisco, a qual se esqueceram do meu pedido, e ainda foram arrogantes como se a culpa tivesse sido minha. Péssimo.

Our food was good. We were roaming around searching for a restaurant and decided to go in there. The restaurant is a sea fish restaurant. We ordered our meals. As they came one of the meals was wrong. We exchanged the meal and it was great.

La seiche grillée est délicieuse !

Zickenkrieg und Tourinepp. Ein Punkt ist am Ende noch zu viel. Jeder Kommentar ist schon zu viel. Wer es nicht glaubt... macht Eure eigenen schlechten Erfahrungen.

Cette semaine quelques jours au Portugal où d’habitude on y mange plutôt bien...le 25/03 Sauf dans cet endroit où on vous impose le pâté de sardines et ses tranches de pain payantes... On commande riz au fruit de mer ..enfin soupe dans une cassolette où tout baigne dans le jus de cuisson du riz 4 moules et deux crevettes se battent en duel sans aucune saveur c ignoble Je commande les sardines grillées.... après 15 mn le serveur d un certain âge moqueur vient me demander de changer car plus de sardines....je prends a regret filet de porc grillé qui n’est autre qu’une vulgaire tranche de rôti pas cuite avec des frites qui même chez Mc do sont meilleures En coupant la tranche je découvre la cuisson et je laisse le tout en mettant en évidence le désastre je me lève et demande à payer et partir au plus vite de ce cauchemar en cuisine Je ne paye q un plat évidemment et ma bouteille d eau Par contre au don Pedro un peu en recul derrière chez la boulangerie Paul se cache une petite porte où il faut souvent réserver mais là...... Accueil chaleureux aimable et le plat ....une tuerie. le patron aime à guider ses client pour les satisfaire.. Je recommande le don Pedro sans hésiter pour concurrencer l’autre voleur de Castro

Plats hyper salés. Grand regret de mettre arrêté la. Je reste sur ma faim. Et en plus sur l addition on vous compte du pain qu on a.pas touché a 0.70 la tranche et 2 fois des olives alors qu on en a prise qu une. Je le déconseille vivement

Uno dei 2 camerieri era troppo sbruffone.. L'altro invece sottomesso, povero.. I primi piatti che ci ha portato erano tutti sbeccati e anche se io che nn sono delicata a riguardo, erano proprio orrendi.. Mi vergognerei presentarli anche ad uno di casa... Il baccalà era buono ma il risotto era osceno.. Potevano mangiarlo in 3 come quantità ma in qualità proprio zero!!

Ga hier niet eten! Er zijn genoeg restaurants in Cascais die beter zijn, veel beter. Zelf burger king was 10 x beter geweest.

Botteled water had a weird chlorine taste. Pepper steak was gray with cold fries. Mussels and sauce were cold. Had to stop for a pizza on the way home.

Péssimo, comida intragável, mexilhões à bulhão pato , apresentados com uma água sensaborona com ligeiros vestigios de alho e, coentros , quase nem vê-los, bocados de "filetes" (rijos/passados) sem qualquer sabor e lulas rijas e a saber a queimado, só no fim compreendi porque o funcionário em vez de deixar a faca do peixe, trouxe, uma de carne. No fim, nem um pedido de desculpas.

Pescado muy bueno, a la parrilla,postres caseros, bolo de bolacha, nos encantó. Un restaurante 10 , totalmente recomendable. Estuvimos a punto de irnos al ver las valoraciones.

worst of the worst. We were in Cascais for the day. We're not stupid, we immediately knew most restaurants were tourist traps. But after a long day riding the beautiful coast, we decided to try and find something authentic, cheap and still good. And this was at Castro. Here's what happened. We sat and were offered bread, butter, olives and sardine spread. We ate, as this kind of apperitive is usually free. then ordered a banana and fish dish, and a clamshell stew. Both were gross. Like, seriously disgusting. The fish was greasy, and the stew was just rice with 99% closed clamshells, 3 shrimps and 4 mussels. None of us finished our dishes, grossed out and afraid of food poisinning. When we asked for the bill, the waiter asked us to "calm down". Wait, what ? we want to pay and leave, what the hell ? We realized they basically kept us waiting to attract other (unfortunate) tourists. And it worked. we got the bill once the terrace was full. Finally, we get to pay. Cool ! the bread, the butter, the olives, are charged. This is seriously the WORST food experience we had in Portugal. Do yourself a favor and go to McDonald's next to the train station. or buy sandwiches at Paul. But don't try anything close to a restaurant in Cascais, they're obviously all as bad as Castro (just have a look at the reviews).

Ignoble, un manque de respect affligeant, je commande une cote de bœuf et on me sert quelque chose que je ne s’aurait d’ecrire mais tout sauf une cote même pas une entre côté ou une bavette c’etait ignoble. NE MANGE JAMAIS LA BAS!!!!!!

Parece un restaurante bastante decente, de precios entre los 10-14 euros por plato pero te encuentras en general con platos que no valen lo que cuestan ni de cerca, un sabor muy simple por un precio muy alto, ademas de intentarnos colar 30 euros de más en la factura... en general un desastre. Si igualmente pediros pescado, pero ni arroces ni carnes, fue lo único no muy decepcionante (y más caro).

Normal, tirando a mal... Buscábamos un sitio para comer pescado y marisco, entre tantos sitios que hay en Cascais. La atención muy buena, siempre a tu disposición y servicial. Te ponen los típicos entrantes de Portugal que acaban cobrandote. Pedimos crema de marisco ( muy buena ), mejillones ( excesivamente pequeños ), almejas ( buenas ) y calamares a la brasa, que en España son chipirones, el cual en el plato ponen 4-5 de unos 6cm cada uno aproximadamente, cerramos la comida con un bistec de ternera. De beber aparte de la cerveza inicial una botella de vinho verde de la casa. La calidad es normal, no es para tirar cohetes en cualquier bar de España comes mejor y a mejor precio. A mitad de comida se solían llevar por ejemplo, los cestos de pan a la mitad ( el cual te cobran ) y teníamos que decirle varias veces que no se lo llevasen. Al pedir la cuenta nos fijamos que nos clavan 4 cestos de pan, 2 de aceitunas ( que según ellos el plato suyo hacen por dos ), 4 de mantequilla ( comiendo 2 )... Etc. Se lo comentamos al pagar, y no de muy buen agrado nos dice que es así... Pienso que para evitar mal entendido se solventa con un simple "chupito" o algún detalle para evitar precisamente que esté escribiendo está experiencia negativa. Aunque si nos lo hubieran puesto, la calidad es la que es. La próxima, buscaremos mejor... Para no volver.

Todo muy bueno. Muy amables y con servicio rápido. Lo único mejorable es que el aperitivo (olivas, queso, mantequilla) que te traen sin pedirlo luego te lo facturan y no queda muy bien.

Bof Faites gaffe aux starter facturé d'office (pain, olives ...) sinon pas de notion d'apero, le tout livré en même temps. Sangria + vin+ plats. Et on vous fait la tête si vous ne mangé pas assez vite. Addition salée!

I eat the BEST chicken and chocolate mousse EVER here! The waiters and the cook were AMAZING, they were so, so nice. I love that place (only the big boss not).

Kellner bedient unfreundlich mit tierischer Alkoholfahne. Bitterer matschiger Fisch, ebenso zerkochtes und versalzenes Gemüse. Abzocke bei den Vorspeisen, die Brotstückchen und Minizwiebacke werden einzeln abgerechnet! Nie wieder!

Pedimos o cuvert que veio com pães que nao estavam frescos provavelmente do dia anterior um pate de sardinha gostoso porem nao era caseiro, pedi um bacalhau a bras que veio sem tempero algum (segundo o garçon, o prato não pode ter tempero) com a batata palha murcha e parecia q tinha sido requentado no microondas uma comida que parecia mais sobras. O atendimento foi ok. Mas a comida deixou muito a desejar.

Одно надо учесть, в данном заведении (как во многих других) вам сразу принесут так называемый "Стартер", так вот он платный, но вы в праве отказаться от него. По опыту предыдущих мест знаем эту особенность, поэтому сразу отказываемся.

Péssimo atendimento, a comida é tudo menos tradicional portuguesa. O bacalhau à Brás pré aquecido,a açorda de gambas só sabia a caldo knorr ,os copos com muita falta de higiene. Resumindo o nosso grupo á saída todos nós dissemos Nunca mais

Servicio muy lento. Comida insípida. Y para colmo, nos cobran 3 aperitivos que no habíamos tocado. No lo recomiendo para nada.

Péssimo restaurante! Sardinhas secas, seguramente congeladas, e chocos grelhados super salgados! A simpatia dos empregados também deixa muito a desejar. Experiência a nunca mais repetir.

Заказала Grillad Seabream и бутылку воды. Всё вместе стоило 12 евро. Перед основным блюдом мне подали маленькую упаковку сливочного масла, маленькую упаковку рыбной массы, несколько оливок и хлеб. Так обычно делают в других странах и это не входит в цену. Когда пришло время рассчитываться, я положила на стол 20 евро и показала им, что я готова рассчитаться, но официанты не подходили, тогда я показала настойчиво, чтобы мне принесли счёт. В счёте, помимо основного блюда и воды, были указаны масло, рыбная масса, оливки и хлеб, хотя я их не заказывала. В общем сумма составила 16 евро 50 центов. Официанты демонстративно не смотрели в мою сторону, как бы показывая, что нормальные люди не жмутся из-за 3-х евро и 50-ти центов на чай. Я подождала в шоке ещё немного и упёрлась, как побитая собака. Чувствую себя обобранной и оскорблённой, хотя меня предупреждали, что в Португальских ресторанах нагло обманывают клиентов.

Atención descuidada para lo que es resulta caro

Sitio agradable y fresco. Personal amable y hacen por entender. Arroz muy bueno aunque la ración da para dos,carne o pescado muy bien! Precio ajustado !

Moi boa atención por parte do persoal do restaurante. Comida abundante, ben cociñada e prezo acorde aos pratos. Comimos bacallau a parrilla e chuleta de tenreira a parrilla. Todo moi rico. Os entrantes que poñen se os comes cobranos a parte. A tarta de queixo fresco caseira moi boa.

Nunca mais. Gerente arrogante, Bacalhau à Brás aquecido no microndas!! Preços exagerados. Não recomendo nem ao meu maior inimigo

We should have known due to the lack of people in the restaurant that Castro's wouldn't live up to expectations. We were tired after a long day and just off the train. Upon arriving we were sat down alone in the restaurant in what was actually uncomfortable and dirty chairs which was something of an omen for what was to come. The Waiter had a bad manner, he seemed to be watching us like a hawk which made us all very uncomfortable. For such an empty restaurant he was quite inattentive to us when he wasn't loitering beside the table tutting occasionally. Luckily the food was... Oh no it was horrible. The vegetables were extremely salty. There were 4 of us and none of us finished the vegetables, the carrots may have been pickled as they were slightly green. The broccoli was rock hard and mushy topped but the saving grace were the potatoes which were edible... Barely. The salmon was nice but the swordfish and seabream were dry and fairly flavourless a huge difference from what we had been served the night before in another local restaurant! I would not recommend Castro's and would instead encourage you to give it a wide berth.

Horrible food, awful and extremely expensive for what you get in return. Aperetif that we did not ask for consist store bought 10 cents sardines pate and slices of bread bought by the owner next door. At the end you have to pay for it as its added to the bill. Main meal was cold, unseasoned, just cold piece of chargriled fish or squid with few patatos and bit of brocoli. The owner forgot about the fries we have asked. Be prepared to pay 13 euro each for basic. Go somewhere else!

A éviter absolument. Je crois que je n'ai jamais manger dans un restaurant aussi mauvais. Soupe aux fruits de mer quasiment imangeable même une soupe sous vide est meilleure ! Entrecote trop cuite à l'huile d'olive dure une semelle et servi avec une rondelle de citron : vous pouvez imaginer la faute de goût ! Frites en quantité très réduite. On a même plus eu envie de goûter un dessert... Le prix est exorbitant vu la qualité. De plus arnaque à l' appero : on vous dépose des amuses bouches sur la table : olives pains biscottes beurre individuel et mini plaquette de pâte de sardine (seule chose mangeable) un fond de boîte contenant une sorte de beurre de roquefort de goût affreux voir périmé et tout ça facture. Je vous dis pas la surprise lors du paiement car nous n'avions pas commandé ces amuses bouches par contre nous avons du les payer ainsi que le pain et l'eau. Du coup la facture monte vite !!! Comment peut on exercer dans ces conditions ? Inadmissible...

RESTAURANT DÉGOÛTANT!!! ⛔️⛔️ Ne surtout pas y aller! En plus de ça,on nous met un apéro sur la table qui n’etait pas demander et qui à la fin coûte plus cher que le plat ( olives, beurre, pâté de sardine). Plat avec ses légumes à la vapeur et viande dure comme une semelle ! Malheureusement nous n’avons pas regarder les avis avant d’y aller méfier vous!!! ⛔️⛔️

El peor sitio que hemos comido de toda Portugal.Ya cuando lo vimos no esperábamos mucho,pero las niñas tenían hambre.Pero cuando llegó la comida fue peor.Esperamos 30 minutos para.... Minicalamares congelados y sin sabor.Lubina de Mercadona .Filete aceitoso y duro. Y salmón seco.El camarero tranquilo...muy tranquilo. El que avisa no es traidor

Sometimes good food, sometimes just ok. Our melon was doughy, the fish was just ok on my second time around. First time I was there it was great. Got cork in a good wine, they just poured it out and second time was the same. Still I paid for the whole bottle... Not the way to do it folks...

Déception. Le service était très sympathique et les desserts plutôt réussis (très bon gâteau aux amandes, bonne crème caramel maison) mais la bacalao était trop cuite (un peu sèche) et baignait dans l'huile. La seiche était elle trop grillée et trop ferme (caoutchouteuse). Les prix sont un peu au-dessus de la moyenne. On trouve facilement mieux et moins cher.
