Schöne Zimmer, bequeme Betten, tolle Anlage. Ein sehr vielfältiges Frühstück, leider merkt man, dass das Personal beim Frühstück oder im Restaurants nicht gern zusammenarbeitet. Die Stimmung überträgt sich auf die Gäste.

Tres bel hôtel tres calme. Les chambres sont spacieuses. La terrasse est agreable. Dommage que l on avait plus de table de jardin le dernier jour. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et le personnel aux petits soins. La salle de gym est top et les transats de la piscine parfaits et de bonne qualité. La restauration est de qualite mais chère si l on doit y manger souvent (il faut compter 70 euros a deux). Tres satisfaite de mon sejour.

Super lugar, a recepção foi sensacional, desde o coquetel servido ao lado da piscina ao jantar no salão do hotel! Maravilhoso.O DJ caprichou na seleção de músicas!!! Super festa em um hotel perfeito!

Um hotel requintado, charmoso e elegante. Ambiente familiar e acolhedor, de tal forma que quase nos sentimos em casa! Todo o staff é super simpático e atencioso. Dog friendly, pode trazer o seu amigo de 4 patas e usufruir à mesma de todo o encanto desta antiga estalagem.
Possui piscina exterior e interior com um circuito de spa.
A cozinha é divinal, com uma oferta suficiente de pratos de carne, peixe e marisco que nos fazem hesitar e querer voltar para provar todos! As opções variam entre pratos simples e mais sofisticados, mas com ingredientes tradicionais, frescos e saborosos.
Nos quartos sente-se o ambiente acolhedor e familiar devido à sua arquitectura "neoretro" que nos leva a viajar desde 1947 até aos dias do WiFi. A decoração é simples e clássica mas o conforto é bastante bom.
Aceitam festas de casamento e baptizados, ou até mesmo festas de divórcio.

Das Frühstück war grandios! Gute Auswahl an Früchten, Käsesorten, Champagner, Lachs, interessante Dessertkombinationen aus getrockneten und frischen Früchten und Nüssen. Schöne aber kleine Hotelanlage. Kaum einen guten Pool, dafür aber der Strand direkt gegenüber. Das Bett - wohl das bequemste, das wir je in Hotels erlebt haben! Ruhig gelegen, jedoch direkt am Ozean.
Die Meinung über die Freundlichkeit des Personals teilen wir nicht ganz... Als unsere Kreditkarte beim Check-Out (ein einziges Mal in unserer langen Portugal-Reise) nicht gegangen war, wurden wir auch nach der Bezahlung mit der EC-Karte komisch und verdächtig angeschaut. Dasselbe war seits Personals beim Frühstück: auf unsere Nachfrage nach einem freien Tisch, kam ein seltsamer Witz...

Un sitio muy agradable, donde de se está muy a gusto para pasar una noche. Si vas a pasar de 3 noches para arriba te recomiendo que escojas otro hotel. Lo primero: está en mitad de la nada. Necesitas. El coche para absolutamente todo (a no ser que vayas al restaurante de enfrente). No te da la sensación de que estés en el mar a pesar de que está casi a pie de playa. Además de todo esto, las camas son muy incómodas. Pasamos la noche 4 personas y los cuatro con dolor de cuello... La almohadas muy malas. Además las mantas que tenían estaban llenas de polvo. El trato es excelente, eso sí. No nos pusieron ninguna pega para nada. Otra cosa buena es que dejan tiene perros (15 euros el día).

Un hotel maravilloso. Situación perfecta, puedes ir caminando a Cascais y a la vez disfrutar de la carcania de mar de Guincho. Servicio fantástico y desayuno buenísimo!!!! Muy recomendable

L'hôtel est mignon, mais cher, chambres petites, le Wi-Fi n'arrive pas bien dans toutes les chambres, le jacuzzi était cassé, le petit déjeuner est bon. Voiture nécessaire pour se déplacer ou location de vélos sur place à 20 euros la journée

We picked this place as the final resort to “hang our hats” at for our last two days in Portugal and honestly I felt my expectation wasn’t met considering the price, It’s decent.. but I’m not sure $285 a night worthy. Promised free WiFi and could barely use it - if we wanted to use it we had to sit in the room by the door - we had connection issues most of the time. Pool was just ok, and service was nothing exceptional.. we did find the bed very comfortable and loved the overall atmosphere of the grounds and our room. However, the walls are pretty thin, we heard vacuuming in the next room over at like 8 in the morning, could hear people moving chairs above us and could hear doors, movement, etc, in rooms next to us. Landscapers were tending the grounds with loud leaf blowers and weed whackers at 9 am. Complimentary Turkish bath and sauna are a plus. The breakfast was tasty. Honestly the WiFi issue threw a monkey wrench into things, if that was fixed I probably wouldn’t really say anything negative. Very nice views of the Atlantic. Just consider all of the above if considering booking, as there may be better options in the surrounding area.

Totally over rated, bad experience. Bedside lamp did not work, OK, it happens, bathrobe was missing, made 2 phone calls, finally delivered after an hour. No hot water for a shower, waited for 2 hours, still no hot water. Service level is low, breakfast is OK, seaview is only on the restaurant and swimming pool side, if u want quiet, u won't get seaview. Location is OK, if U have a car or U don't feel like going out, only want a walk nearby. Hotel has its own charm, that's about it. Definitely can get a much better place on service, food, location, atmosphere with that price.

5-stjernet hotel med 3/4-stjernet service.
De 5 stjerner må skyldes deres spa afdeling. Til dagligt mangler rengøring af pool (faktisk blev den ikke rengjort i de 5 dage vi boede dér), manglende betjening i poolbar, tilkalkede brusehoveder, bygninger der trænger til vedligeholdelse og andre småting man undrer sig over.
Bevares det er et dejligt hotel med store værelser, som alle er udstyret med altan eller terrasse, kaffemaskine og badekar. Jeg havde dog forventet et strygejern på værelset.
Fint morgenmad, men igen havde jeg forventet at det var muligt at bestille f.eks. omelet mv.
Restauranten serverer dejlige retter.
Hotellet er placeret op ad meget befærdet vej, hvilket giver en del støj i pool området.
Dejligt hotel - ja, 5 stjerner - nej.

The rooms smalls really bad. It smalls like dust or like the room has been closed for ages. Probably because of the carpet floor is not clean. Toiled has not powerplug. You need to use the dryer next to the bed. The doors are cristal doors with a very thin white curtain that permit see everything is going on from the inside

Enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was great. It was too cool out for the pool, but the grounds were lovely... rooms clean, staff friendly, etc.

Adorei o hotel. A localização é fantástica, junto ao mar e com aquele verdinho todo por trás. O espaço em si é maravilhoso, requintado e super acolhedor ao mesmo tempo! Os funcionários são muito cordiais e têm uma simpatia natural de admirar e que desejamos que seja assim em todos os hotéis. Pequeno almoço delicioso. Recomendo a experimentarem e a repetir.

Stayed here at Senhora da Guia for few nights after wedding at Forte da Cruz. One of the most luxurious hotels we've ever been too. Stuff was kind and helpful. Our apartment had a big balcony with ocean view. They have great swimming pool, the whole place is really quiet and calm. We also enjoyed bog yard. Overall place is really popular, so you should book it way beforehand, few months at least.
Place is close to Estoril and Cascais, so there are no problems with transport

We are longtime travellers and wanted to take a luxurious brake from the camper life. So I asked for a superior room with seaview for 3 nights. Unfortunately, the "guestrelations-department" wasn't very interested in helping, where to park our camper, while we are spending a lot of money in the hotel. The only answer was, that it is not possible for them to block two hotel-parkings for that. They not even tried helping to find a solution. Too bad. This is why we did not go. Another good example, that the number of stars has nothing to do with the grade of hospitality, customer-focus and interest of the hotel-management to go just one "extra-meter" for a little unusal requirment of a potential customer.

Great location and beautiful property. Very clean! Staff sloke English well and easy to communicate with. They wrre very responsive to the emails we sent before the stay. Room was exactly as requested (balcony and king bed, other rooms were small). Breakfast included hot entrees which was nice considering sometimes European breakfast dont do this. There was a problem with flies around the pool which was annoying when wanted to relax, but this must be something in area bexahse restaurant had fly problems too near by. Despite this i would absolutely stay there again!

Pleasant hotel, but carpets meant a slightly fusty smell. The cost of renting a bike from the hotel was Euros 20 p/day as against the 6 Euros in Cascais ?! Cascais and Guincho beach are lovely and Lisbon is only a 40min train journey away.

We really loved our stay - we stayed at this property a long time ago and they just know how to do things right. The location it just perfect between the town of Cascais and Sintra National Park with amazing beaches and nature. The breakfast is terrific as is the food served in the main restaurant. The staff are all really helpful and pleasant - our room was spotless (thank you!) and the front desk and serving staff were all great! Theres something very charming about this hotel - it has amazing views and it feels like youre staying in a really nice manor house. We had the best time!

I have no idea how this hotel got 5 stars. For sure it is more like a 2-3 star hotel. Hard to believe the hallways and rooms have old carpet that is tearing apart and give the hotel a humid wet dog smell.At the end very disappointing to pay for a 5 star hotel and realize you end up staying at a 3 star one. I am not use to this when I use Hotels.com

Rustig hotel met mooie kamers met terrasje grenzend aan een tuin met uitzicht op de oceaan. Perfect ontbijt met zeer goede bediening. Diner in restaurant idem. ruime betaalbare wijnkeuze. Gelegen voor kust met bij weinig wind al enorme brekers tegen de rotsen. Geen zwemgelegenheid in zee. Buiten zwenbad(je) is aanwezig. Binnenbad dacht ik ook. Niet ver van Cascais en Estoril en Lissabon. Vanuit deze plek zijn mooie autotochtjes te maken naar binnenland en bv. de meest westelijke punt van Europa.

Das schicke Boutique-Hotel liegt ca. 2 km ausserhalb Cascais, nur durch eine Strasse getrennt, fast direkt am Atlantik (Klippen, man kann nicht ins Wasser). Die Lage darf als ruhig bezeichnet werden, auch wenn man in unserem Zimmer 101 relativ viel Türen- und Check-in Geräusche aus den anliegenden Räumen hörte. Unser Zimmer war sehr grosszügig, der Möblierung fehlte allerdings etwas die Wärme. Sehr schöner Pool mit grosszügigem Garten mit genügend Liegen. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war gut und gepflegt, das Frühstück mit lokalen Elementen ebenfalls, wunderbarer Blick über das Meer und die Lissabon ansteuernden Schiffe. Einzig die Dienstleistungsbereitschaft war je nach Mitarbeiter sehr unterschiedlich: wäre relativ leicht korrigierbar...

Un hôtel fantôme où le personnel est inexistant... Un spa laissé à l'abandon... personne à l'accueil pendant nos 3 jours de présence, et les 2 derniers, le sauna et le hammam ne fonctionnaient pas...À notre arrivée, nous avons demandé au barman un cocktail au bord de la piscine... pas de carte, il nous a amené, de lui même un cocktail imbuvable qu'il nous a facturé 12 euros.... La chambre, minuscule donnait sur le parking... Bref, une mauvaise expérience... Absolument pas digne d'un 5 étoiles!!!

Non è un 5 stelle ! Bagni poco e male illuminati, non c'è aspiratore nel bagno, doccia scomoda, assurdo mettere una macchina per caffè a capsule in corridoio, salviette cambiate ogni 2 giorni, bicchieri usati lasciato sul tavolo del patio per oltre 12 ore....insomma tutti quei dettagli che fanno la differenza con un 5 stelle...ma, personale fantastico, colazione poco fantasiosa ma con ottimi prodotti. Nel complesso ci tornerei ma non posso considerarlo un 5 stelle secondo i nostri parametri

Das Hotel liegt 3km von Cascais und 3km vom nächste Strand entfernt. Sehr schöne Anlage, freundliches Personal und gute Küche. Mit Mietwagen ideal aber auch sehr gute Verbindung mit dem Taxi sehr preiswert. Optimal auch zum Besuch nach Lissabon. Sehr schöner Urlaub.

Wir hatten ein Superiorzimmer mit Meerblick. Dieses war etwas klein, vorallem das Bad war eng. Die Einrichtungen sind gepflegt, jedoch schon ein wenig arg genutzt. Der Service war gut, jedoch wunderten wir uns über die fünf Sterne. Ich denke, das Geld für das Superior kann man sich sparen, wenn man nicht unbedingt den Meerblick will.

Absolutely beautiful place. The staff is amazing and the type of people you would like to revisit year after year. The rooms are fantastic and the the beds are very comfy. Only issue is that there are not many restaurants near by if you wanted to leave the hotel.

We had our wedding here in May and it was absolutely perfect. Our 110 guests all loved the hotel, the beautiful location, and the friendly staff, all of whom went above and beyond to be helpful and make our stay as great as possible. We visited the hotel a number of times in the run up to the wedding and every time we were impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the high quality food and service. We had a BBQ in the fountain courtyard at the back of the hotel with about 100 of our guests the day before the wedding, which was delicious, as was the wedding meal itself – a number of our guests told us it was the best wedding food they had ever had! The setting of the hotel is just gorgeous. When we first chose the hotel we were slightly worried that noise from the road outside the hotel would disturb our ceremony in the garden, but we didn’t hear a thing. Instead we just got the beautiful view of the sea and the gorgeous hotel gardens and buildings in all of our photos. The rooms themselves were also lovely. The bridal suite is huge – plenty of space for the bride, bridesmaids and flower girls to get ready the morning of the wedding, and the hotel even kindly provided us with sparkling wine, strawberries dipped in chocolate, and a vase of flowers in our wedding colours when we checked in. They really thought of every detail, down to the flowers all over the hotel matching our wedding colours! We are so grateful to all of the staff of Senhora da Guia for helping to make our dream wedding come true, and you will definitely be seeing us again in the future (and I think many of our guests!). To anyone who is thinking of having a destination wedding in Portugal, or even just a relaxing holiday, we would 100% recommend this hotel – you won’t be disappointed!

Sehr schön gelegenes, ruhiges Boutique-Hotel nur durch eine Straße von der Felsküste von Cascais getrennt. Zu einer TOP-Bewertung fehlte mir ein umfangreicheres und abwechslungsreicheres Frühstücksbuffet und ein besserer Zustand des Zimmers (abgerissene Kleiderhaken mit Löchern in Badezimmerwand, knarzende und bei Wind klappernde Türen. Alle Zimmertüren lassen sich nur durch lautes Zuziehen schließen, was man im ganzen Haus hört.

We were a family of five, three teenage children, the hotel was fantastic. We loved the pool area and the indoor pool too, the gym was good and the rooms clean and with balcony/terrace so a small sea view. We walked to the casa da Guia for lunch/supper most days as there were weddings in the hotel, this was not a problem as the restaurants in Cascais are fantastic and great value too. Breakfast in the hotel was superb and all the staff very friendly. We would definitely go back there.

Das Senhora da Guia Hotel liegt etwa 3 km ausserhalb von Cascais an einer relativ stark befahrenen Strasse, die das Hotel vom dort felsigen Strand trennt. Der nächste Sandstrand ist etwa 3 km. entfernt, der öffentliche Bus verkehrt nur alle Stunden. Es ist somit von Vorteil bei einem längeren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel ein eigenes Auto oder einen Mietwagen zur Verfügung zu haben. Da wir ein Superior-Zimmer gebucht hatten, konnten wir uns über das Zimmer überhaupt nicht beklagen. Einzig mit der Kanalisation scheint das Hotel einige Probleme zu haben (langsamer Ablauf des Schmutzwassers). Das Personal war freundlich, die Zimmer sauber und der Garten gepflegt.

Wir waren im August für 5 Tage in diesem Hotel. Es ist ein wunderbar gepflegtes kleines Boutique Hotel. Schön eingerichtete Zimmer jeweils mit Balkon. Die Betten sind super bequem und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Das Frühstücksbüffet hat alles was das Herz begehrt (sehr gute Qualität). Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir würden auf jedenfall wiederkommen! 100% Empfehlung :-)

Hotel und Service sind klasse. Leider wird im Spa nicht für Ruhe gesorgt, sodass wir wegen kreischender Kinder dann doch auf weitere Massagen und andere Anwendungen verzichtet haben obwohl diese wirklich sehr gut waren.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön. Allerdings entspricht das Frühstück und der Service nicht der 5 Sterne Kategorie. Das Frühstück war einfach und wenig abwechslungsreich. Es gab Joghurt, allerdings nur in Becher, neben frischem Obst gab es vor allem Obst aus der Dose, Tomaten,Gurken haben wir in 10 Tagen nicht einmal auf dem Buffet gehabt. Das Rührei war kaum genießbar, weil zu flüssig. Auch der Service ließ einige Wünsche offen (Tisch wurde während des Frühstücks nicht abgeräumt, das Personal wirkte lustlos). Zusammenfassend kann man feststellen, dass die Anlage 5 Sterne verdient har, allerdings alle anderen Merkmale entsprechen einem Hotel mit 3-4 Sterne.

Nach strengen Kriterien sicher kein 5-Sterne-Haus, wird aber durch die tolle Lage am Guincho und den Meerwasserpool (einziges Manko: Fliegen!)ausgeglichen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. PKW ist sinnvoll um auswärts essen zu gehen oder zum Strand zu kommen.

Die Zimmer und der Service sind sehr gut. Das Frühstück sowie das Restaurant sind ebenfalls empfehlenswert. Das Hotel liegt leider wirklich direkt an der zentralen Durchgangstraße. Die isolierten Fenster sorgen für Nachruhe. Aber leider nicht am Pool. Daher ist das Entspannen auf den gepflegten Grünflächen nur mit iPod etc. zu empfehlen.
