This little bar was a gem to find on it first day of opening at 12.30 am we walked it to find great people, great fun and most of all great high end wines and Porto. The owner was very knowledgeable in wines and we learnt a lot about wine making. Will be back!

If I only had one word for this review, it would be ‘go!’ It’s hard to imagine a better way to get to know Portuguese wines that this cozy wine bar. My friend and I had a couple of extremely reasonably priced flights that introduced us to wines from different regions, some natural, all distinctive, delicious, from small producers, and with great character. The neighborhood is full of great spots but pleasantly sheltered from hoards of tourists in Alfama, etc. The owners Brian and Jennifer were extremely generous with their knowledge of everything from varietals to car rental companies, and have created a truly special place. Thank you!

My boyfriend and I are great fans! Brian and Jennifer are the nicest bar owners, incredibly knowledgeable and great conversationalists. Their wines are exclusively portuguese, thoroughly curated and a taste is always offered before making a final choice. The ambiance is low key and cozy, although the tiny bar can get busy fast – which in my opinion adds to its charm. We always have a great time there, hence we keep going back.

Having frequented the Cerveteca next door (with their excellent selection of craft beers and friendly service) I was happy to discover that this tiny wine bar had opened next door, especially as I've been on a mission to improve my wine knowledge over the last few months. First off this is probably the tiniest bar in Lisbon. If there is a smaller bar then I want to know about it. If there is more than 3 people in there then the party is on and I'd be surprised if it can fit more than 10-12 people at a squeeze and I mean a sardine like squeeze. So not one for the claustrophobics or people wanting a quiet private chat but definitely one if you want to meet some new people and get friendly with the nice people behind the bar which is what we did. They have a nice selection of natural/low intervention wines and straight up bottles as well. I had three different glasses of very pleasant, white natural wine accompanied by an enthusiastic description of the provenance by the owners. The wines were obviously well chosen and certainly well received. If you're not sure about what to choose you will also be offered a taste before you purchase. Conversations were had and a pleasant evening it certainly was. The prices are not cheap, expect to pay €5 and up for a glass of wine but rest assured you will learn something as you drink it and definitely enjoy it. The per bottle prices were a touch higher than I've seen in other natural wine outlets but not horrendously so but the service levels were second to none and I'll most definitely be returning for their fine, personal, selection of wines and great service. PS. Please see the reply from the owner below regarding the prices for the bottles which wasn't clear to me at the time.

Wine lovers this is where you need to go to experience unique blends of Portuguese wines. This place even dabbles with a great small selection of rum, ports and muscats. The owners are welcoming and knowledgeable of what they serve. A lot of laughs and drinks were had!!

Cozy little wine bar, there's not much of a siting area but they have some really good wines. You can always take your glass out and enjoy the sun in the garden or join your beer drinking friend at cerveteca!

Adorable little wine bar. The owners are incredibly knowledgeable in local Portuguese wines, which you will most likely miss if you don't visit this amazing wine bar. Would highly recommend making a stop before or after your dinner at least once, as we went twice! We also purchased a bottle of our favourite sparkling wine we've ever had. Drink by the glass, enjoy a tasting curated by the Sommelier or take home a bottle of your favourite. Which ever choose you won't be disappointed!

Incredibly broad, well curated and interesting wine selection hand picked by its owners who really know Portuguese wine inside and out (and can talk to you about all the small producers on their list). Also great wines for takeaway, a daily changing couple of cocktails and delicious snacks. Nice cozy atmosphere and a huge plus that you can take your glass of wine and sit out in one of the most pleasant squares in Lisbon if you like. Also helps to have such a great musical playlist!

Quaint and cozy natural wine bar in Lisbon, with an excellent and fairly priced selection, thoughtfully procured by owners, Brian and Jen! My girlfriend and I were here for almost a month, and we found ourselves here 3 times during our stay. Stop in for a glass and leave with a few bottles to go! If you need help, the owners are very knowledgable and can help with any taste. A must stop for natural wine lovers!

Just passed this little wine bar in the middle of trendy lisbon and had to go in. Live here up in the north and there's so much wine but I've never heard of most of it. Had a great chat with the owner and tried some amazing wines. Learned more than I've ever learned about the local wines. And I also had to have one of their margaritas - my fav cocktail.
