Fiz pedido por delivery. Muito boa carne e boas ofertas no uber eats. O route 69 tem uma carne deliciosa, mas com brioche fica um pouco ensopado, deve ser melhor a opção com bolo do caco. Bom!

Cosy ambiance very good hospiyality wine exceptionally, good advice, good carpaccio to much mayonaise scrape it of meat is superb. different salts and special knifes for meat! That was excellent we loved it no rush or pressure glas of port to finish delicious special evening go there but make reservation in advance not many places!!!

The carpaccio and "air bread" were phenomenal. Jaoa our server was a great kid. I especially liked his reaction when we told him we just got back from the beach....he was so disappointed in that fact...but in a funny way! It was a classic reaction to something your jealous of because you had to work and couldn't do that thing.

Wow! Dieses Restaurant hat echt Klasse! Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis, sehr leckeres Essen und eine unglaublich nette Bedienung. Selten so gut gegessen. Der Kellner kannte sich sehr gut mit dem Angebot aus und konnte genaue Tipps geben. Man hat die Wahl zwischen verschiedenen Salzen und Messern, je nach Gargrad. Traumhafte Atmosphäre, gute Weine, gutes Essen, liebevolle Bedienung. Alles in allem, einfach nur Wow. Dringend Reservierung empfohlen.

The steak was amazing and the spare ribs were delicious. The older gentleman that served us was truly a delight. He was quite genuine and not invasive. Maria was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the meat, salts and knives for our dish. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Amazing steakhouse we found while out walking. First time in Portugal for us and BYF was outstanding. Best steak & Potato Pavo and Albacore Tuna from New Zealand - just like us! Best ever service. Great wine suggestion. Dessert was divine! Bruno made our night. Is efficient but has time to have a little chat, offer port recommendations & things to do at our next stop in Porto. Well done to the Chef for his fine cuisine. Our little white port sample at the end was simply divine. Highly recommend this restaurant.

An overall awesome experience! Obviously the steaks are fantastic living up to the reviews, the side dishes are equally great. The deserts are mouthwatering, they make you ask whatever the neighbor table is having! I would make a different wine selection but it is still great. The ambiance, decorations and music fit perfectly. Small, quiet and romantic. Great staffing, very nice and attentive. They have a selection of sea salts to choose for your steak and even a selection of knives to go with your steak!

Nous avons pris un mojito en apéro, suivie d'une entrecôte black angus avec des frites maisons et en dessert le super brownie Rien à redire! Quite the experience for the meat enthusiast. The restaurant is small so I advise to make reservations. The meat quality is superb, they use a Josper oven, combined with great quality meat you'll see where this goes. It's a must visit. Definitely will return soon.

First of all this was my first visit to Portugal and 2nd it was Christmas Day. This turned out to be a hidden gem. Not many options as most restaurants were closed for the holiday. The slow cooked short ribs were so tender I did not need my knife. The Angus steak was perfect. A little fat around the edges for flavor. This was our second attempt at a good steak. Again the steak was a perfect cut and they bring seasoning for you to use. They do not season the steak. And don't forget dessert. Try the brownie...to die for. Great wine selection. Service was great, friendly and welcoming. I would definitely come back.

Esta experiência tem tudo de inesperado logo no momento em que passamos à porta do BYF e não percebemos o espanto que aquilo é lá dentro! Uma verdadeira surpresa, um verdadeiro espetáculo! Tudo começa nas entradas: à nossa mesa chegou o pão alentejano feito no Josper (o forno que por lá habita e o rei de todo o espetáculo ao qual estão prestes a assistir), manteiga fumada e azeite de alho feito na brasa com vinagre velho. Seguiu-se o queijo provolone com compota de chalotas, trufa e tomate seco e o pão de ar com tataki de carne maturada, foie gras, teriyaki, compota de chalotas e creme de cebola. De seguida, vem um empregado perguntar que faca queremos. Mostra-nos um conjunto com 10 unidades e aconselha, consoante a carne que vamos comer. Com a carne e com os maravilhosos acompanhamentos, são colocadas sobre a mesa 8 variedades de flor de sol, numa ardósia. Há flor de sal normal, mas também cogumelos, café algas, laranja, baunilha, lima e gengibre, e ainda um picante. Todos eles dão um toque especial e distinto à carne. Para a nossa mesa vieram secretos de lombo de porco ibérico, presa de Wagyu do Japão e entrecôte angus maturado. Os acompanhamentos (de comer e chorar por mais): pavê de batata e aioli, cevadotto de cogumelos (uma espécie de risotto mas feito com cevada), bimis salteados com alho, alface romana com molho de parmesão e avelãs e ainda um puré de batata doce. Confesso que morri de amores pelo pavê de batata e pelo cevadotto. Para terminar? Um brownie com gelado de baunilha, pipocas caramelizadas e caramelo salgado, soa-vos bem? Que grande explosão de sentimentos, sabores e de amores, BYF.

The location is lovely, the staff are extremely friendly and the atmosphere is very nice. I, however, am only giving it 3 stars because the menu is not accurate. Listed is Wagyu steak, and this was the only reason why we went to this restaurant on that day. We were on our honeymoon and I wanted us to treat ourselves to something we had never had before. Not only was it on the menu and had been taken off some time ago, it was on the online menu, in fact it still is today, a week later. The staff never notified us either when handing us the menu. Had I known I would have booked elsewhere and possibly gone there another time but I was very disappointed. If it was not for this I would have given 5 stars, the staff were lovely and the food was extremely good, the experience was lovely (you get to choose your knives) the sides were excellent and get a variety of salts to play with, but I felt mislead or at least that something like this, when their menu is so small, should not have been overlooked.

We really like this place. It is small and cozy. The first time we stopped by we couldn’t get a seat so make a reservation in advance for dinner. We just had lunch here today and walked in no problem. Have tried the national loin, the entrecôte and the burger as well as the potatoes and spinach. I have really liked everything we have tried. The staff is very friendly and proficient in English. This is our favorite steak place in the area because of the mix of the cozy vibe, good food, decent prices and friendly service. You’ll like it!

Desconhecia a existência deste restaurante escondido em Saldanha. Após ler algumas críticas fiquei curiosa e decidi reservar. É um espaço não muito grande mas muito bem decorado e com ambiente fantástico. A carta oferece uma variedade de carnes optei por escolher lombo acompanhado por salada romana, french chips e esparregado de espinafres. Absolutamente deliciosa a refeição, a carne estava realmente perfeita...para sobremesa pedi um crumble de maçã que veio numa chapa quente e sublimemente regado com caramelo ( pelo menos foi o que me pareceu). O staff super atencioso e afável. Recomendo e concerteza irei voltar...

BYF Steakhouse has nice steaks and the starters are very nice as well. When you do offer me to choose steak knives, then I prefer cut the steak myself instead of already sliced up by the chef. As for the hospitality it was excellent, the waitress, Maria, did a fantastic job to make our evening in Lisbon a good one. Book in advance especially when you're in groups, because the cosy restaurant is not large. Enjoy!

The place is small but cozy, the service was personal and very helpful, we went in the middle of the afternoon it was almost empty, so bare in mind that you might have a different experience depending the time of the day, but the Meat... OMG the Meat was Devine, and the desert was equally superb!!! So I recommend with confidence that you will like it.

We had a booking of 16 people tonight, 4 left half way through eating, 3 steaks came wrong, was told could not have a sauce. The service was very bad with a rude waiter. Would not recommend to anybody. So for me it's a zero but can't do that so has to be a generous 1 as the desert was lovely.

É real No topo das Steakhouse de Lisboa. Espaço acolhedor e confortável. Staff dedicado, atencioso e surpreendente. Carta muito clara, diversificada e objetiva. Qualidade ímpar das carnes e de tudo o que para a mesa pedimos. As sobremesas, outra iguaria imperdível. Apenas sugiro duas situações. Nas entradas, independente do interesse e do número de pedidos, há sugestões que não fazem sentido, bem como os valores, põe exemplo do pão, mas respeito na íntegra o modelo. Outra tem a ver com a apresentação. Num grupo de 3, como foi o meu caso, pedimos 3 variedades de carne, para dividirmos, e acabaram por vir 3 pratos para a mesa, cada um com uma variedade de carne. Em casos assim, devia de existir algo em que fosse possível servir a carne toda, num só elemento. Por tudo classifico no máximo e recomendo. OBRIGADO

Heaven! We decided to dine here on our penultimate night in Lisbon before departure. You need reservations. The restaurant has about 12 tables. We got lucky and walked in before the rush at 9:30. Roberto was amazing and took care of us. Everything was delicious- I would go back in a flash.

Ate here for our last night in Portugal. Will need a reservation, plan ahead. The steak options are great, ribeye was delicious. Definitely try the AirBread. Also, the sweet potato mash was a winner! Sparkling Sangria was also very good. Small intimate setting. We took our two daughter (8 and 1) they were able to share a meal.

Beim Ankommen am Restaurant, wir hatten nicht reserviert, mussten wir mit dem Personal kurz quatschen und haben dann einen Tisch draußen bekommen (drin hätten wir nur eine Stunde sitzen können, danach war er reserviert). Hierzu schonmal: Das Handling der Situation durch das Personal war super, wir wurden ausführlich über die Optionen aufgeklärt bevor wir eine Entscheidung getroffen haben. Anschließend hat uns die super nette, freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung, Maria, die Karten gebracht, uns wurde zudem die Grundlagen erklärt (auch gibt es leider das Japanische Steak aktuell nicht, wollten wir aber eh nicht). Nachdem wir uns aus der übersichtlichen, aber für ein Steakhouse völlig ausreichenden, Karte an Optionen bedient hatten, hat uns Maria ebenfalls die Gewohnheiten des Lokals bekannt gemacht. Dazu zählen zum einen die 6 verschiedenen Salz-Sorten, die wir zum Würzen des Steaks nutzen konnten, wie auch die Auswahl der richtigen Messer (das Restaurant lässt die Gäste das Messer wählen, wobei es bevorzugte Messer für jede Garstufe gibt). Das Steak wird korrekterweise auf einem einzelnen Teller gebracht, die Nebenspeisen (es gibt eine gute Auswahl an Kartoffel-Variationen und Soßen) kommen auf einem separaten Teller. Pluspunkt hierfür, so kann man sich das Steak ungetrübt schmecken lassen. Das Steak an sich war hervorragend. Nicht nur die Anrichtung als bereits geteilte Stücken, sondern auch der Geschmack und die Garstufe (perfekte Medium) haben hier super zusammen gepasst. Es gibt eigentlich keinen Grund, wozu man hier eine Soße dazu stellt, die ist für da Steak vollkommen unnötig. Durch die separat gereichten Salze kann man sich das Steak nach belieben würzen: TOP! Nach einem sehr leckeren Hauptgang haben wir uns nach Empfehlung von Maria auch noch einen Brownie gegönnt, welcher mit einer Kugel Vanille-Eis und salzigem Karamell (welches am Tisch übergossen wird) serviert wird. Die Kombination war für uns neu, aber gelungen :) Alles in allem: Ein super Abend mit ausgezeichnetem Essen (mit eines der besten Steaks, die ich in Lissabon bisher gegessen habe). Zu dem Preis kann man echt überhaupt nicht meckern, eigentlich zu billig. Vom Service her gibt es nichts, was man sich mehr wünschen könnte!

Reservierungen mind 1 Tag vorher notwendig. Ging problemlos über google. Und es lohnt sich!!! Tolles Ambiente, hervorragendes Essen...das Steak eines der Besten was wir je gegessen haben, das Süßkartoffelpuree war ein Gedicht. Es war so samtig cremig....und unbedingt noch Platz für eine Nachspeise lassen! Der Brownie war der Hammer! Alles wird mit Liebe angerichtet.

Tout d'abord, pensez à réserver, ce resto est victime de son succès. Et il le mérite. La serveuse parlait parfaitement anglais et était d'une extrême gentillesse. Je mets 5 étoiles pour l'atmosphère en général mêlée au goût des plats. Le choix du couteau ainsi que la présentation des différents types de sel fut une agréable surprise, cela rend le repas plus personnel. Cependant, je pense qu'au niveau viande, on peut tout de même trouver mieux ailleurs.

Our server Maria was attentive and it was clear she wanted us to enjoy ourselves. They had a selecton of knives for steak and also special salt blends which was fun. I enjoyed the entrecot and wife enjoyed the tuna steak. Couvert and salad were delicious as was the cinnamon ice cream but what blew us away was the scorched brownie....OMG.

Dit nieuwe restaurant heeft een zeer origineel concept. Vlees, saus, geparfumeerd zout en aardappeltjes zijn allemaal even lekker. Wij zijn heel gelukkig dat we hier toevallig beland zijn en raden het iedereen aan, die van steak houdt.

Não gostei da experiência... fui pensando em comer uma carne maturada de qualidade, perguntei o que teria sem gordura ou com pouca gordura, e fui informada que o lombo (filé mignon) e a picanha não eram maturadas e possuíam menos gordura. Já as maturadas tinham um pouco de gordura porque era necessário ao processo de confecção da carne. A carne que veio “maturada” era mais de 70% de gordura (custou 30 euros!) e o filé mignon eu faço melhor em casa (22 euros!)...não achei nada de especial, nem saboroso, achei meio queimada e a opção que dão de não temperar para usarmos algumas opções de sal disponíveis é péssima, pois jogar uma flor de sal com sabores por cima da carne sem nem mesmo saber a quantidade exata que pôr é uma loteria. Não gostei do sabor, nem da qualidade das carnes. Ainda cabe a necessidade de destacar que o Josper não dá vazão aos 20 e poucos lugares existente no salão e até o pão demora a sair, e quando veio estava queimado em demasia. Não voltaria e não recomendo a experiência a ninguém.
