Tipica taverna di Lisbona. Personale gentile e cordiale. Ci ha consigliato dei piatti tipici a base di baccalà che erano ottimi. Non facile da trovare, ma ne è valsa la pena. Il conto è stato onesto. Che dire d'altro: da provare!!!

Locale piccolo e accogliente, personale molto cortese, piatti tradizionali e buonissimi, le porzioni sono davvero abbondanti e il costo non è affatto alto. Il locale è perfetto per trascorrere una serata intima senza dover rinunciare ad un ottima cena portoghese. Noi abbiamo ordinato il baccalà fritto(squisito), crocchette di carne, zuppa del giorno, formaggio portoghese, tre porzioni di baccalà e una di carne, due bottiglie di vino per un totale di 80€. Il locale è situato in un vicolo di alfama e ciò lo rende ancora più suggestivo. Consigliatissimo.

Cozy little restaurant, a little bit hidden in Lissabon's old town. The service is personal and the food is really really great. Thanks to the open kitchen, you can see your food being prepared. The interior is on the more rustic side and fits perfectly. Not the cheapest place, but the food is definitely worth it. In my opinion a very good restaurant worth a visit.

This is wonderful restaurant! We were so happy to have found this hidden gem. The owner is so wonderful and lovely, and the food is delicious. The price is very reasonable even though it’s in the heart, the centre of a tourist place. We loved it so much that we visited twice!

A lovely local restaurant. Food was tasty and the hospitality was excellent. We had the prawns as appetizers and then two different main casserole like dishes - One pork and one beef. Wine was nice.

Abbiamo soggiornato 4 giorni a Lisbona nel quartiere Alfama ed abbiamo scoperto questo piccolo locale dove si mangia in maniera eccellente e molto abbondante!! Baccalà carne tutto ottimo ed anche i dolci spettacolari!! Locale curato e gestori molto cordiali. Se siete in zona merita una sosta!

Fantastic non-touristic restaurant in a low traffic alley in Alfama. The owner is passionate about made-to-order dishes using quality food and fresh ingredients, and it shows in everything from the freshly tasting/looking salad to the appetizers and main dishes.
Great value for authentic and high quality Portuguese style dishes. It would be easy to miss. They are not on the streets trying to get you in and don’t need to be, since the food and service speaks for itself. Highly recommended!

Probably one of the best place in Lisbon. Food is amazingly tasty. Recommended by local and approved by foreigners. I will advice that your give a try to the cheese and the chorizo. Only locals products.

No os dejéis engañar por su ubicación en una estrecha callejuela de la Allfama. En este restaurante hemos comido el mejor bacalao de Lisboa. Hemos pedio un bacalao asado y un bacalao a broa, buenísimos ambos. También tienen buenos postres caseros y entrantes típicos. El servicio muy cercano y amable. Cómo único pero, no se puede pagar con tarjeta de crédito aunque hay un cajero a pocos metros del restaurante.

Restaurante pequeño pero acogedor en el barrio de Alfama. El local es muy pequeño y aunque tardan un poco en servir la comida es casera y muy muy rica. Comimos arroz al tamboril y bacalao asado, y flan casero y café de postre, por unos 20€/persona. Atención cuidada y ambiente agradable. Cuidado porque no se puede pagar con tarjeta. Sin duda volvería.

Un super restaurant dans une petite ruelle. Les plats de morue sont super délicieux et copieux et la viande est très tendre. Un restaurant pas cher pour du fait maison. Je vous le conseille vous ne serez pas déçu si vous voulez manger portugais.

Attracted to this restaurant by the aromas as we walked past. Arrived @8pm Sunday night when it was quiet although it rapidly filled up . There was one very helpful, polite courteous member of staff who guided us through the menu and wine list. Impressed as he opened different wines to try before choosing. Two happy ladies working wonders in the kitchen. Delicious food! Salt cod in cream béchamel sauce with cheese, potatoes was unctuous and just what was needed after a wet and cold day out. The salt cod stew with bread, egg and Coriander/ garlic was simple and delicious too.

Very small restaurant base in a small lane in the Alfama quarter. What a surprise...tasty, well presented and very nice atmosphere. The waiter/owner very pleasant and funny...he let us feel home! I highly recommend a visit if you are in Lisbon....thanks!

Amazing portuguese food at a reasonable price, even for locals.

The restaurante has a very cosy atmosphere, very friendly personal and amazing comfort portuguese food! Tip: if you are a sweet lover, you gotta try the "pudim de ovos"!!! I super recommend it!

Un petit restaurant vraiment sympathique, caché dans une petite ruelle du quartier. C'est du fait maison, c'est très bon et dans un coin vraiment charmant ! Ils se spécialisent dans la morue, même s'ils proposent de tout. Attention on ne paie qu'en liquide ! (mais il fournissent les factures sans soucis).

We found O Beco after walking past many tourist focused restaurants. We were very happy with the food, it was excatly what we were looking for! The monkfish rice stew was delicous, so was the codfish! The waiter was friendly, and the restaurant had a nice envoirment. We recommend this cossy restaurant if you want to have some traditional homemade food, and escape the tourist traps.

Il proprietario-cameriere è molto gentile, parla anche un po’ di italiano e anche se ha molta gente in sala spiega e risponde a tutte le domande. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo piatti tipici e porzioni abbondanti! Vino molto buono. Il locale è piuttosto spartano, ma questo non fa che migliorare l’intensi dell’esperIenza. Unica pecca, non hanno il pagamento POS e a fine cena son dovuto andare a prelevare denaro lasciando come pegno la mia ragazza. Oltre a questo, meraviglioso!!!

Sehr gute, authentische und mit Herz zubereitete Gerichte. Nicht das Essen was an jeder Ecke zu bekommen ist, eher gute von Mutti zubereitete Spezialitäten. Insbesondere die portugiesischen Desserts sind fein!!
Wir bekamen eine ausführliche und herzliche Beratung. Der Wein war lecker die Preise passen!
Kein Schickimicki und kein Fado! Was ich persönlich sehr gut finde, denn beim Essen möchte ich nicht ununterbrochen beschallt werden.

Pantaniscas were delicious, as was the chorizo, and environment is lovely. Found this place by chance for dinner and they were able to seat us within 10 minutes. Owner is charming and happily gave meal/wine recommendations (which were great). Stop by if you can!

We went to this restaurant attracted by the many great reviews we read here but we quickly changed our mind. The guy (the owner?) didn't greet us warmly, he wasn't engaging with any of the customers, he didn't explain us the menu and when we tried to ask more questions he was a bit sarcastic and unhelpful. I dont think he was the owner mentioned in previous reviews because this particular person didn't show much interest in the business. We had the sirloin steak and a salad which would have been nice but it was way too salty, also the bread was overpriced a d stale in my opinion.

Angenehme Atmosphäre.
Wir hatten das Stirloin steak es war lecker, aber eine Beilage, wie Bohnen, hat gefehlt. Zudem hätte es etwas schöner angerichtet sein können für den Preis.
Dann hätten wir den Kabeljau mit Kartoffeln und Bohnen. Er war lecker, aber ist wortwörtlich in Öl geschwommen. Also eher ok das essen.
Die Speisekarte war stylisch, aber die Speisen hätten etwas genauer erläutert werden können.

Confirmamos que es un lugar imprescindible para comer o cenar. Atención exquisita y platos muy recomendables y bien cocinados. Ayer cenamos y hoy, en nuestro último día en Lisboa, hemos repetido. Mucha suerte porque tenían a un grupo de amigos en una cata de vinos y les habían preparado un cocido portugués. Nos han ofrecido probarlo y ha sido memorable. Más casero imposible. De 10. Muchas gracias por el trato recibido tanto por el dueño como por la cocinera. Recomendable 100%.

Fiquei mesmo desapontada. Escolhi bacalhau com natas, era esquisito e totalmente diferente do tradicional (com demasiado queijo e sabor azedo). Baba de camelo estava meio seco, não sei, se calhar velho (fomos no domingo). Mousse de chocolate que colegas pediram estava melhor, tal como arroz de tamboril deles, mas tamboril estava sem sal. Boa avaliação do restaurante provavelmente é graças aos turistas. Que pena...

Incredibly good restaurant! Was our first night in Lisbon, and found this place out of pure chance. The owner seemed extremely lovely, and their food was exquisite. The baked fish with corn breadcrumbs was just otherworldly, and their desserts too. What a nice surprise. Fully recommended!

Comimos en este lugar tras leer las reseñas, con cierto recelo, porque el restaurante estaba vacío (viernes al mediodía). El ambiente muy acogedor, la atención excelente. Comimos arroz al tamboril y pastel de bacalao y aceitunas de entrante. Todo rico. Muy recomendable por nuestra parte y buena relación calidad-precio (comida entre 20-30 euros por persona).

Muy buena recomendación nos hizo la guía del freetour que nos indicó este restaurante. El bacalao a la nata y espiritual exquisito. La ensalada de pulpo pequeña paea tres y pir 9 euros. No es barato pero muy buena calidad y atención. 100% recomendable

Comida incrível.
O restaurante é super charmoso e pequeno, por isso aconselho ligar e fazer uma reserva antes de ir.
Para começar, peça uma porção de bolinho de bacalhau (ou pastel de bacalhau, como se fala em Portugal). Se você é brasileiro, não peça para colocar pimenta no bolinho de bacalhau, isso é muito mal visto.
Os pratos principais são todos maravilhosos e bem servidos. Pergunte pelo prato do dia, pode variar.
O dono do restaurante é o Manuel e ele é gente fina e simpático.

Saporito il baccalà con il latte ma davvero pesante. Sapore monotono e si fa fatica a finirlo. Luogo è piccolino, il proprietario è molto premuroso. A Lisbona e soprattutto nel quartiere Alfama c'è di meglio dove cenare.

We had a lovely experience dining here. Although the place is a bit small the food is absolutely delicious. We ordered a bottle of wine, starters, main course and dessert. The total was something around 40 euros per head. Completely worth it! The service also was top notch.

Petit restaurant dans le quartier très touristique d'Alfama très bon accueil mais surtout une très bonne cuisine Portugaise les poissons sont frais et très bien cuisiné leur riz succulente....Les prix sont corrects....Attention ils ne prennent pas les cartes bancaires....

Ristorantino molto carino dove si mangia e si spende bene. Sono stato due volte qui per pranzo e devo dire che il servizio è stato davvero sempre ottimo uscendo sazio e felice. Per il baccalà c'è un po' da aspettare ma ne vale sicuramente la pena. 2 porzioni di baccalà, 2 porzioni di riso in bianco, dolce e bottiglia di vino per appena di più di 50 euro €.

Il proprietario parla più lingue tra cui l'italiano, ti fornisce ogni tipo di spiegazione sui piatti e ti aiuta anche sul quantitativo da ordinare, in maniera onesta. I piatti in sé, sono piaciuti a tutti sia gli entré con i gamberetti e la salsiccia, sia i piatti di baccalà. Abbiamo ordinato tre con besciamella, uno alla griglia, uno bollito, tutti abbiamo apprezzato i nostri piatti e lo consigliamo a tutti.

Locale intimo nel cuore dell'Alfama, pochi tavoli e cucina a vista. Personale e cuoca simpatici, cordiali e pazienti: da provare Baccalà con besciamella, indimenticabile!! Ottimo anche l'agnello. Merita sicuramente la visita rispetto a tanti suoi concorrenti maggiormente "in vista" sulle strade di più alto flusso turistico.

Ristorante piccolino e nascosto nelle vie dell'Alfa ma consigliato assolutamente, piatti eccezionali e la cuoca è molto simpatica. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Provate la zuppa di gambery al curry e il baccalà con besciamella.

Sono stato a cena per due volte di fila in questo ristorantino.
In breve, O Beco è una tappa obbligatoria se siete a Lisbona.
Nel cuore del quartiere di Alfama, è lontano anni luce dalla proposta turistica di molti suoi competitors vicini.
È l'ideale per un'atmosfera più tranquilla e per mangiare veramente bene.
Il baccalà, sia arrosto che a la bras, è veramente fenomenale.
La cucina è a vista e le signore che gestiscono, sanno veramente il fatto loro.
Andateci senza esitazione, mi ringrazierete!

El servicio y la organización eran un auténtico caos, atendían mal las mesas y hacían sentir incómoda a la gente con sus discusiones internas. La comida es pasable, pero no compensa el resto. También decir que solo se puede pagar con efectivo, y salvo error por mi parte, no está indicado en ningún sitio.

Descubrimos este pequeño restaurante gracias a Tripadvisor, ya que se encuentra en una callejuela escondido y de otra forma nunca hubieramos llegado a él. Sin duda, uno de los mejores sitios en los que hemos comido en esta ciudad: buena relación calidad-precio, cocina casera y personal atento.
Pedimos de entrante unas pataniscas de bacalao: ¡¡IMPRESIONANTES!! Si venis os las recomendamos.
De segundo, optamos por un solomillo a la brasa con patatas y carne de cerdo a la portuguesa. Ambos platos, si bien no requieren una gran elaboración, estaban bien preparados y la carne era deliciosa.
Para el postre nos dejamos aconsejar por la camarera y pedimos leite creme: deliciosa.
Sin duda, este sitio cerca de sitios que visitar pero alejado de los locales más turísticos es una gran opción para comer si estais por la Alfama.

Excellent petit resto portugais! Le mieux est de réserver!! La patronne aux fourneaux est très gentilles et conseille bien à sa façon ! Le gratin « spiritual » de la carte est au top. Le riz à la coriandre aussi. Desserts maisons !

E' un po difficile da trovare, ma merita la visita.
Ristorante di buona qualità, con pochi tavoli e cucina a vista, fuori dal circuito turistico. Tutto ottimo, inclusa la salsiccia con patatine ed uova presa per un bambino.
Eccellente il baccalà in salsa, molto buoni i dolci, conto onesto. Consigliato!

Il ristorante si trova in un vicoletto e passa inosservato, il cibo è molto buono e gustoso, ci sono sia piatti di carne sia di pesce, super consigliato il curry di gamberi e il maiale con le patate. Prezzo davvero onesto, in due 33€

BRING CASH. We were informed after we asked for the bill that payment was cash only. The owner pointed at a small sign on the wall. We suggested he should advise customers before they order. The cod gratin was delicious. Steak was tasty, but had to send back twice to cook more, it was raw with blood inside. The second glass of sparking wine was completely still. Should have sent it back, but the owner himself poured it and I was waiting for him to correct it or not charge for it because he saw it. Again, the food was delicious.

Sehr versteckt, nicht so einfach zu finden ... Es gibt keinen Außenbereich und die Tische kann man an zwei Händen abzählen ... Aber: der Kabeljau den meine Freundin bestellt hatte war sehr pfiffig zubereitet. Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam, und den Köchinnen konnte man bei der Arbeit zusehen ... Ich würde wieder hingehen!

La comida excelente, el arroz de tamboril maravilloso, las sardinas buenisimas y las almejas tambien. El vino blanco de la casa muy bueno y a buen precio. Los postres buenisimos el mouse de mango y la crema de leche que era como una crema catalana. Repetire sin dudarlo.

Pour ce qui est des 'frites' vu dans les anciens commentaires, ceux sont des frites portugaises et non des chips. (Logique de manger portugais quand on visite le Portugal). Ce restaurant est typique portugais car on vit vraiment à la portugaise avec la télé, les mamas portugaises avec leurs toques et leurs vieux tabliers qui font à manger. Tout l'esprit du Portugal réside dans ce lieu, je le conseil pour ceux qui souhaitent visiter la vraie vie portugaise.

Nous y sommes allés en voyant les commentaires positifs.
Ce restaurant n'a rien d'exceptionnel.
C'est vrai que l'on se croirait dans un petit salon, mais les plats n'ont rien d'exceptionnels.
Au menu , il n'y a que de la morue en ce qui concerne les poissons.
Pas de sardines. ....
Ce n'était pas mauvais mais il y a mieux à ce prix

No-nonsense restaurant run by no-nonsense women. Had three courses (very good, especially the rice with salted fish) and a bottle of wine for about 50€ for two people. Super friendly staff, didn't really speak English but that was no problem. The menu is in three languages. It was the best place we went to on our weekend trip and we would definitely go there again.

The food was delicious, especially the batata frita! It is runned by three women, two in the kitchen and one waitress. It's typical Portugues, in the nice neigbourhood Alfama. Would really go there if you are in Lisboa!!

Suite aux avis favorables nous sommes allés diner dans ce restaurant dans le quartier d'Alfama, nous avons commandé 2 plats dont un le beco boeuf (boeuf, "frites", un œuf et du riz) dans lequel ils ont oublié de nous servir le riz avec le plat qui va avec et dans nos deux plats la viande était surgelée, les "frites" s'apparentent plus à des chips croustillantes et non de vraies frites. Le pain servi avant le repas avec une coupelle d'olive et les carrés de beurre sont payants, on nous a facturé 80 centimes pour une coupelle de pain. Néanmoins les gambas en entrées étaient appétissantes.

Dans une toute petite ruelle du quartier de l'Alfama, nous avons trouver un restaurant portugais sans prétention qui propose une cuisine authentique et raffinée. Nous avons découvert avec plaisir la morue portugaise accompagnée d'un vinho verde. Une très bonne soirée. 70€ pour 5 personnes avec les boissons et une bouteille de vin c'est plutôt raisonnable.

Un peu caché dans une petite ruelle mais il faut vraiment y aller ! Cuisine excellente, pas chère, et serveuse et cuisinière très accueillantes. 27€ pour 2 plats+2boissons+1 dessert +2 cafés. Le coup de cœur de notre séjour.

Pour déguster une "bacalhau a bras", cette incroyable spécialité portugaise de morue (parmi les 365 qui parait-il existent), c'est là qu'il faut venir. Les beignets de mrue sont aussi délicieux.
En plus le patron parle français, et l'accueil est jovial.
Le service est presque trop rapide, on a pas le temps de totalement profiter du moment.

A Lyon, nous appelons cela de la cuisine de 'mères' celle qui savent cuisiner les classiques, les recettes de famille. Du goût, du vrai, du fait maison devant nous. Nous avons choisi la morue abraz (à la portugaise) ce qui serait l équivalent (très lointain) de la brandade et de la morue grillée. Avant, beignets de morue et champignons farcis, puis mousse de mangue et 1 bouteille de Douro: 39€ pour 2. Même a ce prix j aimerai que les locaux puissent s'y attabler....
Comme cette 'gargotte' est cachée dans un quartier de ruelle impraticable aux voitures, il faut mériter.
