First of all some of the reviews are completely inaccurate. Maybe you should read about a place before you visit it. This is an atelier-museum of a Portuguese contemporary painter, it's not a place with replicas. It is also not a place to see big exhibitions. Most exhibitions are related or are in connection with the artist's work. So please stop making inappropriate reviews and please read about an artist before you visit their museum, it might help you learn something.

Spazio molto bello, ma troppo minimalista anche nell'esposizione. Manca una descrizione dell'intervento di Alvaro Siza e anche i lavori di Pomar sono descritti poco approfonditamente. Ottimo il coinvolgimento delle scolaresche.

La cubierta es lo mas interesante del lugar. Fui allá por ser una obra de Siza mas no por la exposición la cual no fue la gran cosa. Mantiene la sencillez del diseño arquitectonico para un espacio de exposición. Mis cuatro estrellas fue por que no cumplio con mis espectativas en cuanto a la exposición.

Como atelier não tem nenhuma referência. E tem pouquíssimas obras do Júlio Pomar.

It's a small place, hard to find but it had a good exposition. I loved the black and white painting, you had to look for sometime to see clearly what animal was. Loved the deep message they transmitted about our impact somehow on the creatures. Loved it

at the time of my visit, there was only 4 painting and a slide show. I believe that they were performing some modifications. the entrance is free for residents of Lisbon on Sunday mornings before 13

Found this little gallery by accident, and such a great find! Learned a lot about a Portuguese artist that I wasn’t aware of before. A very nice building with a range of Pomar’s work. It’s a small gallery, and was empty when we were there, so it only took us 30mins or so to see everything. Only 2€ entry. The lady on the reception was very knowledgeable and passionate about the work, so ended up chatting to her for a further half an hour!

Um local “sui generi “ interessante mas com muito poucas obras para ver além de ser um simples museu e em nada um atelier, para visitar sem grandes expectativas

Apesar de não ser um museu dedicado exclusivamente à obra vasta de Júlio Pomar, é um centro de referência na actividade cultural de Lisboa, sobretudo pela diversidade de exposições.

This is a small atelier with some Portuguese history replicas.
I enjoyed the building it self more than the art. But never the less it is interesting.
Free entrance.
