This is an exceptional restaurant. Don't plan to arrive without a reservation though. The flavors are amazing. Order anything and you will be delighted. We found ourselves tasting each others plates of food. Absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend.

Our 2nd visit to this amazing restaurant and yet again we had a wonderful evening. The food was terrific, the houmous had great depth of flavour and the 2 dishes we ordered we shared to get the full morrocan flavours. In fact the cous cous was so light and flavoursome it was the best we have ever eaten. The atmosphere is intimate with the host doing everything herself, from meeting you to cooking and serving in a wonderful friendly manner. This place is a gem. We will be back whenever we visit Lisbon.

Didn't get through the front door! Confronted by a rude, arrogant owner. Asked for a table for 4, told no not now. Had the door slammed in our faces and locked behind us....can't imagine what the service would've been like had we got in!

The food was stunning and so was the host. It was such a lovely experience to sit and relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Definitely ring ahead and book in as there is limited space, which only adds to the experience.

Wonderful restaurant, great atmosphere and ambience. The host is a beautiful lady and great cook doing all by herself, so turn up early and hope to be one of the lucky dozen or so to enter to this magical place!

Phenomenal restaurant and experience. The food is delicious and the service will leave you feeling like you went home and had mom's cooking. It's a one woman operation, and she nails it! Her levity and wit truly brightened up our meal, and I'm looking forward to returning.

absolutely fantastic. the owner is an excellent host. food was delicious room is gorgeous and cozy. must book to get a table as there are only 8. don't expect to rush through dinner as it is a one woman show-but everything was timed perfectly.

Outstanding food and very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Make sure to reserve in advance. We had the flavor of sensation, where you tell her (the hostess) what you eat (everything, vegetarian, vegan, not too spicy, or whatever...) and she surprizes you with various courses.

Prepare yourself for a meal you might have at a best friend's home. The experience begins at the door where you must ring the doorbell and await the hostess of your evening (reservations are a must). Enjoy the beginning of your event with casual conversation, wine, and the appetizer of the night. Just like at a friend's house, the meal and evening casually moves thru the night. Highly recommended restaurant in bairro alto (nearly in prince real)! The food is really something and the service is really a case study (only the owner works there no one else so it is the owner that does everything). Everything goes so well only with her work! Goodness! All was so great that you nearly though that you were back in Marrakech :)
Remember that you have to make a reservation. The restaurant works with closed door and only by reservations! Highly recommended

He vuelto después de seis años y mantengo mi reseña y la mejoro en una estrella (la que quedaba), lo sigo recomendando!
Muy bien decorado, un ambiente muy agradable y confortable, la dueña atiende las mesas y la cocina, muy diligentemente por cierto, es muy amable y cariñosa ¡la comida es espectacular! y el precio ronda los 20€ por persona (bebida tipo agua o refresco, un plato, postre y un té). Si hay que sacar algún defecto diría que la carta es algo escasa y que cierra muy pronto, pero teniendo en cuenta que lo lleva todo la dueña sola creo que es más que suficiente. Como es pequeño, es difícil conseguir mesa, por tanto recomiendo llamar para reservar y ser puntuales ¡merece la pena el esfuerzo!

The place is charming, the food really good, and the owner is funny and full of energy. The hummus was delicious, and the vegetable tagine as well. And she has gluten-free bread if you ask her, so I will definitely go back next time I am in Lisbon.

Es war ein wunderbarer Abend im Flor da Laranja mit überaus köstlichen Speisen. Die Komposition der Gewürze und Kräuter sind stimmig und hinterlassen ein unglaubliches Geschmackserlebnis. Wir sind sehr zuvorkommend bedient worden. Die Weinempfehlung traf genau unsere Präferenz. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen jedem, der in Lissabon ist, hier zu speisen.

Plus que un restaurant la Fleur da Laranja est avant tout la maison de Rabaia qui vous accueille chaleureusement. Ensuite c'est un réconfort, pour les papilles bien sûr, et pour l'esprit. Une oasis dans le désert !

Really good moroccan food. My stuffed red pepper was very tasty and filling. My wife and son had couscous - son had Lamb couscous - both said it was very good and I had tasted and it was very good, cooked to perfection and very tasty. There were condiments - olives, hummus, and two other types - they were very well prepared and extremely tasty. The host was friendly and ambiance was really nice with moroccan music playing in background. I would definitely recommend - make reservations as only 8-9 tables.

Sehr sehr leckeres Essen !!! Schöne Atmosphäre und tolle Gastgeberin ! Chicken triangles ist ein Muss! Der frische Minztee war auch sehr lecker. Die Dekoration ist sehr einladend und man fühlt sich sehr schnell wohl. Gute Musik, auch nicht zu laut. Früh reservieren. Denn es gibt nicht ganz viele Plätze. Würden immer wieder herkommen

מסעדת Flor da laranja ביקרנו אתמול במסעדה בעיקבות חוות דעת של אנשים שהיו במקום אני רוצה לציין שבחיים שלי לא אכלתי קוסקוס כזה זוועתי אין שום קשר בין קוסקוס למה שאכלנו האנשים במקום מסוריה ולא מכינים מאכלים שאפשר להגדיר אותם מאכלים ראויים גם שביקשנו חומוס קיבלנו צלחת עם דוגמית של חומוס בלבד ללא טחינה לא נראה לי שהם היו עוברים את הביקורת של אייל שני או כל אחד ממשתתפי מאסטר שף בקיצור עדיף לאכול עוגה ולא לספוג אכזבה הביקורת שלי שלילית ביותר לגבי המקום ואני כותב לכם בתור אחד שמבין באוכל ומבשל בבית את כל המאכלים האוטנטים.

C'est la deuxième que j'y mets les pieds et c'est toujours un vrai plaisir.
La décoration est chaleureuse, on se sent comme transporté dans une autre culture et la cuisine est vraiment raffinée et riche avec des saveurs variées.
Je suis vegan et il y a plusieurs options végétariennes et/ou végétalienne.
Les hôtes sont adorables et très accueillants.
(Pensez juste à réserver en avance)

Très bon restaurant ! Accueil très chaleureux de la patronne qui s'occupe seule du service et de la cuisine. Décor typique marocain dans lequel on se sent vraiment à l'aise. Pensez à réserver car la salle n'est pas très grande et à arriver tôt si vous ne voulez pas y rester toute la soirée. Je recommande vivement !

This is a cozy little restaurant run by one woman. She cooks, serves, and entertains the guests - basically a one-woman-show. Food was very authentic and delicious, however the wait for the main dish was unexpectedly long (1,5 hours). The host takes her time but it might make sense for her to employ a sous-chef/assistant to make the experience for the guests more enjoyable.

Neste restaurante você será servido pela proprietária, que faz tudo sozinha, sem qualquer ajudante. É necessário reservar com antecedência, pois são poucos lugares. Vale a pena esperar. A qualidade da comida é muito boa e as porções são fartas. O tempero é o tradicional marroquino, com varias especiarias e pimentas. Caso tenha alguma restrição, avise antes. O couscous com frango estava maravilhoso.

i dont care about the overall rating here and as a foodie myself, i definitely wont ever set a foot in that place. on 19th march 2018 it was raining as hell and my girlfriend was hiding under the door, outside, for approx 20 seconds. the restaurant by then was closed, sort of, just 3 people in there having a glass of wine. the owner however, must have had a few too much, she was coming outside and shouting at us something like: "this is my house" and completely freaked out. my girlfriend just nicely asked "what...?" and she screamed "dont tell me what!" repeating that over and over, freaking out and insulting us. it felt like a weird dream. a pity, i had the restaurant on my list and i strongely suggest not to engage with them, if you´re not spending money there, i guess then they´re friendly. this was such unportuguese behaviour, poisioning that lovely neighborhood. even one star is too much.

We went to Flor Da Laranja on a friend's recommendation and enjoyed it enough to go back again two days later. It's quite a remarkable place, not least because it is a one-woman show: Rabéa, the owner, is the hostess, waitress, chef, busboy (busgirl?), and dispenser of menu advice and fun in - she told us - Portuguese, English, French, Arabic, Spanish, German, or Italian as required. The restaurant is cozy and attractive, but a reservation is essential because it seats only 18 people by my count. Two potted plants stand guard in the doorway, so customers must ring the bell to be admitted. That's slightly weird; I think Rabéa does it this way so she can greet and seat her guests personally if she happens to be in the kitchen when they arrive. We tried a kebab and four tagines (lamb with almonds and dates, lamb with artichoke, vegetarian, and shrimp) and liked them all. The harira soup was light and delicious; we also liked the vegetable roll appetizer and the hummus (a bit crunchier than I'm used to). The desserts were yummy. Two reasons to go to Flor Da Larnaja: the food is terrific and it's a lot of fun.

Avions réservé pour 4 personnes.Acceuil par la maitresse du lieu qui parle 5 langues et cadre oriental très cosy.Jolies tables et jolie vaisselle. Nous nous sommes régalés de tajines délicieuses et parfumées, le tout accompagné d'un excellent vin rouge.Les pâtisseries orientales étaient divines .N'hésitez pas ,vous ne serez pas déçu, tout est fait maison par la proprietaire qui est seule en cuisine et en salle. (Un petit peu d'attente, mais ça vaut le coup) En revanche, pensez à réserver ,il n'y a qu'une dizaine de tables et elles ont du succès.!

It's one of the weirdest restaurants. We arrived 30 minutes late and the entrance was blocked with plants and pots. It took us a while to figure out that we had to ring the bell. Once we did, a lady came to the entrance and directly started complaining about our lateness from behind the pots and plants giving us the impression that we are not welcomed. So we asked her if she would let us in or shall we go to another restaurant, suddenly she became nice and let us in. Then, we were served Hariri soup and pastry filled with minced meat with spices as starters. They were really delicious. Our main dish were two lamb tajin and one lamb couscous, and they were really terrible. The lamb smelled and tasted bad... really bad. It was strange that we found it terrible while surrounding tables were enjoying it. We were three people with three different dishes and we had same bad experience.

Cosy setting, like sitting in her livingroom, with only the tv missing. Small menu but not small portions. At first I didnt like the sound of the microwave from the half open kitchen but actually the meal was finger licking, so she does her magic. She runs the place on her own so if you come with a group then be early or be patient. Her English and French are fluent. Its not budget priced but fair I think. approx 25eur cover+main+small wine bottle.
