Lots of fun watching the futball match with locals. Rowdy but fun. Service ok but bartender was cool

We had a great time at Amazonia, the staff were very friendly, though their English was not great, the food was delicious. The live music was not too intrusive so we could talk and enjoy the duo playing. Food was a bit pricey but the quality was excellent, no idea why people are being so negative about it.

O espaço é super bonito, o cardápio excelente mas os funcionários são péssimos, inclusive o proprietário. Estive com duas amigas e fomos extremamente mal tratados e convidados a nos retirar. Pedimos uma caipirinha sem açúcar e veio com. Ao pedir para trocar fomos informados que não trocariam e que teríamos que pagar. Inclusive o proprietário, sem educação alguma, nos tratou de forma debochada e arrogante. Escrevemos no livro de reclamações.

I don't understand these negative reviews. This was our post up spot our entire trip. Great apps, great service, treated us better than all other places.

Had a beer here. Didn't have food because everything seemed quite expensive and, looking around at the people eating, it didn't seem worth the prices. Only memorable because of the decor.

The staff was super rude, the wait for food was very long. Everyone's dishes came at different times. Trying to pay was the biggest hassle. They made a big mistake with my meal, hiding meat in a veggie dish, and barely tried to make it right. One person kind of apologized once. The manager never came over to apologize. Mistakes happen, I'm a human and I understand this, but they were not interested in making it right or making me feel better about eating something that I don't eat. (Imagine if you have allergies, watch out for this place). They also yelled at us when some of us mentioned the long wait and the mistake in serving meat in a veggie meal. I never leave bad reviews, but this place truly earned it.

I don't even know where to start. The service was BAD, the staff were rude. It took them 1h to have our food, and they told us that is the normal waiting time.(WHERE!?). We had a vegetarian dish with meat inside...they told us it was a mistake and everyone makes mistakes. Again BAD SERVICE, they don't know how to speak with the customers, super impolite. Never going back!!!

Ao fim do dia, com as montras iluminadas, reparamos melhor nas montras e no interior das lojas. Olhando através da porta, reparamos neste espaço tão acolhedor e com uma decoração diferente e tão bonita: "Restaurante Amazónia"... Fica no lado esquerdo, de quem sobe a Rua do Alecrim, tem as paredes todas pintadas com rostos de índios e animais. Servem pratos da América do Sul e embora a gente não tenha entrado com intenção de jantar, fomos recebidas com enorme simpatia. Um lugar a experimentar numa das muitas idas a Lisboa. Quando somos bem recebidos, temos vontade de voltar. Alguns comerciantes esquecem-se que a forma de receber é cartão de visita para clientes.

Don't go there, believe me. It's a disgrace ... the owner is way incompetent ... we were a group of 12 and (even though he wrote the order down) they messed up everything. after confronting him, he got really mad and aggressive ... really don't bother going there. cocktails are expensive and mediocre as well

Uma boa caipirinha e uma boa feijoada.

Estive aqui domingo ha noite e Chamar restaurante acho uma ofensa a restauração. Serviço, péssimo. Qualidade cozinha péssima Preço, mt caro para aquilo que oferece.. isto chama-se baixe o nível de cartão de visita aos turistas e residentes em Portugal. Relembro a gerência que é severamente punido pela Lei fumar dentro.. local público.

Avoid this place if at all possible. The guys outside try to mug and mess with all the people inside. When I asked for help, the bald (possibly owner) guy dismissed me completely. He wouldn't even tell me how to contact the police. He was clearly in cahoots with the sketchy dudes outside. Needed a police escort just to leave. A terrible experience in an otherwise wonderful city!

Beer was tasty but expensive. The manager (bald guy) was rude, dismissive and extremely unhelpful in our situation. Music was generic but at a good volume. The barman seemed to care but the manager was ridiculous and had a complete lack of empathy or social skills. Don't bother with this place.

Mala experiencia. El restaurante engaña por decoración y nombre brasilero. La atención es pésima! El encargado un desagradable mal educado muy tenso. Los precios absurdos. No volvería jamás!!!! No

O atendimento deixa a desejar, tá longe de ser atendimento Brasileiro. O atendente fica na Mesa fazendo pressão pra você escolher logo e meio que acha ruim se pede só aperitivo e bebida (sem prato principal). Pão de queijo e dadinhos dr tapioca são otimos.

Não é possível que um local atenda os clientes da maneira que fomos tratados. Um careca de 1 metro e meio de altura extremamente mal educado... PRA NUNCA MAIS VOLTAR

Pessoal muito mal educado pra recepcionar os clientes no estabelecimento. Por ser um local temático do Brasil, está passando uma péssima imagem que não representa o povo brasileiro.

I didn’t put ZERO because is not possible. The bald guy was beyond the limit of rude... for sure a place to never come back... the bald man must be the owner because there is no way on earth a place would keep a human being like him dealing with clients

The drinks were terrible: no fresh limes which means half of the drinks availability, really acid anyway as they pour a lot of lemon juice, the alcohol had a cheap taste. The personell was much unfriendly letting us know to do things only when he wanted, only by standing at the table.

Kein Problem mit dem Service, aber auch kein Glatzkopf zu sehen. Essen sehr lecker aber leicht teurer und keine großen Portionen. Bier 0,5 5€ Wegen dem Preis/ Mengen Verhältnis nur 4 Sterne. Geschmacklich 5.

Die Mitarbeiter schreiten rum, schlechter Service, lange aufs Essen gewartet, Essen 3/10, preise überteuert, das Einzig positive hübsche Kellnerin.

This place is à real disgrâce !! We tried to get a table that was ready just to have dessert at around 11.30pm and a short bald man was beyond rude to us. He acted like a dictator trying to boss us around while waiting and when we asked to change table (he tried to put us at the far back of the restaurant alone in the corner with no view whatsoever), he started yelling at us telling us to wait for him for when he will have time to talk to talk to us !!!! Anyway, maybe if the music is fine, just run away from this hellish man !!!

Lousy customer service, with an short, bald dude who's rude to customers and to his own staff. Learn some manners and treat your customers with the respect they deserve.

Péssimo lugar e péssima recepção. Se pudesse colocar 0 como nota, colocaria. Fui atendida por um português extremamente desagradável, agressivo e não profissional (assim como o restante da equipe). As caipirinhas estavam intomáveis. Como brasileira estou MUITO decepcionada e não recomendo a ninguém! Passem longe!

very big meals - so consider sharing one between two. good quality & freshly made. really felt the brasilian/portugese spirit due to the very interesting interior. def would come back with a lot of friends for sharing meals and having a good time. also very nice staff:))

Infelizmente isso não representa o Brasil uma vez que tenta, Brasil tem Alegria e amor, educação também, um curso de atendimento ao público ajuda muito para ter negócio que lhe dá com pessoas.
